He did an excellent job but said we would need a new door. He was able to get the door detached and lean it so that it would not be obviously open to the public. He arranged to have Andres come the next morning to replace it. Andres showed up on time and immediately removed the old door and install the new door... all on his own! Great price too! Our garage doors (and remote openers) had been having issues and their company was repairing one door while the other was still supposed to be functional for entry/exit. I tried to enter the garage thru the proper door but unfortunately the opener was acting up (as it tends to do and the reason for the visit). I politely asked Brandon if both doors were down since the remote wasn't working - he immediately rudely stated - "yea it works". So I pull out my remote to show him that I am pressing it properly and said "hey it looks like it's not working - are you sure?" I then tell him I live in the building and we have been having entry issues. He basically says he can't help me and I asked him if he could check/open the door and he says "well, if the remote doesn't work, it's because you don't belong here." A very strange and unnecessary response- and directed to a black woman in the west loop - so also (more likely than not) a racist one. Because of his refusal to help me I had to park my car nearby, enter the building with my fob (because I obviously did belong there as a resident despite his racism), and ask the property manager to intercede. Once shown of his error, he wouldn't even apologize or acknowledge me/his mistake. His comment was unnecessary and wrong. Even if he didn't want to provide entry (which is the whole reason his company was called!), his decision to inform me of who "did or didn't belong" in the building was not only inaccurate but unprofessional and racist.

He said he had to park close for access to his tools, and would not move his truck. It was frustrating for many of the nearby tenants and neighbors.
