To say the great maple is mid is an understatement. We arrived at the great maple for our 3pm reservation and were told it would still be a 30min wait, what was the point of making a reservation?, I don't know. They proceed to seat us just a few feet from the door so to say the ambiance was chaotic would be accurate. The food was underwhelming to say the least, the chicken was flavorless, a weird greyish color and had no hot honey. Why call it a hot honey sandwich if it got no hot honey. The "famous" maple donuts were trying to suffocate me with their doughy consistency. It would have been less upsetting if I didn't have to wait an additional 30mins for below subpar food. But hey at least they gave us a magic key holder discount. read more

First and foremost the food is legitimately bad, not one thing we ate was prepared well and after eating you feel disgusting. On top of the food being bad, it's wildly overpriced and I feel that the food quality is even better at IHOP. I loved the first time I came here the fried hot honey chicken was one piece of and it was chicken breast white meat. Now I went there's two pieces which is much but now the meat is dark and I don't eat dark chicken meat!! The manger was friendly but told me they have white breast chicken but could grill it. That they couldn't make it fried . Which if they have it why couldn't they fried it and I tried explaining I had it here before with white chicken breast. . I said just bring me pancakes nothing special about the pancakes that are 17 bucks. I go get dennys and have it better. My son didn't care for his food either. We booked a character luncheon because the website let us do a reservation. We Left Disneyland to get to the luncheon only to be told they don't do character luncheon. When we showed them the reservation and their website they were surprised. After all 10 of us with 4 of them kids ready for a character luncheon (3 of them under 6) who were hungry we did stay and eat. Though the food was good, children's menu is very weak. What was also disappointing was not one effort made to comp drinks or 1 meal or a free dessert. There was very few dining in the restaurant. read more

First time going to Disneyland with my two boys and wanted to try a food spot that was local. Heard good things about Great Maple, but unfortunately didn't live up to par at all. What's funny is that it wasn't even our server's fault. She was so sweet and kind but I could just see that everything else around her was all hectic and chaotic. I see my server running around getting cups, plates, silverware while the managers are just on the floor on their Ipads not supporting them. Food takes an extra long and I know the servers aren't in the back cooking the food themselves. We got the kids chicken and shrimp pasta and it was ok. I honestly just felt really bad for our server tbh. I used to work in the restaurant industry and I know that in order to have a cohesive unit there needs to be a strong support system from upper management and other staff as well. Had high hopes for this place but did not meet my expectations. The server had us waiting around 25 minutes just to our drinks! It was not busy and seemed to had been dying down from a rush so I'm not sure why the server took so long to simply ask for our drinks. The food & service was absolutely amazing! If you go here we recommend the French toast logs, egg benedict & the chilaquiles. the food was so fresh, quick & delicious. Every bit was so flavorful. Just tried this Disney restaurant for the first time. I ordered the grilled chicken bowl, it was so delicious!! It was just Chicken breast and veggies and I've never had a better chicken bowl. Nice break from the busy park, short walk through the Grand California. Totally recommend. read more

We got there and got a table within 10 min. Not bad but not amazing for a restaurant with a lot of empty tables, the server show up and bring water and introduce himself. The glass was dirty and the water was tap water but not filtered tap water , bad Anaheim tap water. We ordered some food and 2 drinks , one Cava and a margarita. The server was clueless what Cava is even in it was on the menu. We wait about 15 min for the drinks even when the 2 bartenders were not making any other drinks at the bar. Once again dirty glassware and my sparkling wine was served in a white wine glass. The food was mid and there was only one server on the entire floor serving over 7 tables. Since the server was busy taking care of the entire restaurant we ask the host for the check and after another 15 we were able to catch the attention of the server and get the check. Prices are fine dining so I went expecting fine dining service. Overall i would be more satisfied going to the Dennys down the street or actually dining at Disney restaurants. read more

Visited the restaurant for the first time today. My wife and I shared the Rib Eye Sandwich that was so delicious. It melted in our mouths. We also enjoyed a spectacular hummus dish with an awesome flavor too hard to describe. We topped it off with a cup of coffee and a seasonal pomegranate donut that was so light and airy and of course delicious. Our server J.C. was awesome and made sure that we were taken care of. He is very friendly and professional. Make sure you ask for him when you visit. He also prepared a custom mezcal margarita for my wife that was just perfect. Highly recommended the restaurant. Great food and service! Hummus appetizer and mushroom fries were a hit. Grilled chicken bowl and the Wagyu burger were very delicious! Pancakes were so fluffy! The dressing for the chicken taco salad could use a bit more seasoning. We saved room for dessert and so glad we did! Would definitely eat here again! Staff was super helpful and they were always checking on our table to make sure everything was perfect! We had reservations and they seated us promptly and took our order quickly. I really enjoyed my dining experience at the Great Maple in Anaheim, from the atmosphere, the food as well as the service. Don was our server and he was very attentive with our party and the suggestions he made for our meal were exactly what we were looking for. I ordered a Taco Salad for dinner, macaroni and cheese along with the mushroom fries for my tables appetizer and the Maple donut with bacon for dessert. The taco salad was perfect as it wasn't heavy which was ideal for me, and the macaroni was superb. It was truly some of the best macaroni and cheese I have ever tried. It was my first time trying mushroom fries and they did not disappoint as well. The maple bacon donut at the end was a great way to end our meal and it was perfect because the order comes with 3 donuts which was enough for our party to have one each. Overall the atmosphere was great as well with the basketball game playing on their TVs by the bar. Will definitely be returning and hoping to try more of our servers suggestions! read more

Found this great restaurant only by accident on the Disney app while looking for dining reservations. Nestled in the Pixar Pier Hotel with easy access from Disneyland Way and a short walk from Downtown Disney. We had 11:30am reservations and arrived early (came from Disneyland) at 11:00am. The hostess was very nice and seated us right away. We were immediately brought a caraf of ice cold water which was very refreshing. The menu had so much to choose from. Our server "Jose" gave us great recommendations. I had the Cajon Shrimp Benedict & my husband had the Ribeye sandwich. Both entrees were flavorful and huge. The manager, other servers, hostesses and even the busboys stopped by our table to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. It 8s a tad on the pricey side, but not much more than what you would pay 8n the parks for a sit down meal. We will be definitely adding it to our dining rotation. read more
