well, I'll tell you last Wednesday. I was at your great vape store off of Fairoaks and El Camino. I went in tried to ask the manager why is it that every time I come in to get a vape? It's a different price he started cursing at me, upsetting me and then kicked me out of the store for asking a question and when I asked for the manager or the person in charge told me it was my responsibility to find him to talk to them. I do not feel appreciated when I go into the store not saying I was totally in the right, but I didn't deserve to be cursed at and kicked out of the store. read more

Total Jerk behind the counter today, March 26 2025. I will give two stars because they have flavored Geek Bars. When I asked what flavors they had though, the clerk cops an attitude and will only tell me what colors they have. Now, Geek Bar has many more flavors than colors, so that is no help. They charged us over 20$ for a 3$ replacement glass, we bought 2 of them, and both of them turned out to be fake. Neither was pyrex and they both cracked from regular use within a week of installing them. (for reference the original glass lasted over a year and only broke because I dropped the rig off a 2 story balcony.) The first replacement one cracked while it was literally just sitting on my desk. I wasn't even touching it. I think it was due to heat, but an actual authentic pyrex tube would not have done that. I wasn't even in the room when the second one cracked, I'd left it sitting on my desk and when I came back it was cracked and leaking. The authentic pyrex for this tank is msrp of 2.99 on the manufacturer's website. Where this shop gets off charging so much for fake ones is a mystery. I had to send boyfriend because I am immune compromised, and he didn't know enough about how much this stuff costs to point out that was too much, if I'd gone with him I'd have stopped him. As it is we are out 40+ and I have no bulb for my tank now. I saved the packaging from one and both cracked bulbs, maybe if I ask the manufacturer for help they can replace them, but I am still pretty annoyed at the rip off. read more

TERRIBLE, DISAPPOINTING, UNACCEPTABLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS I came to Great Vape for my FIRST and LAST time ever after work to buy my first Juul device and a menthol 4 pack of pods for it on 7/5/21 as I recently have quit smoking. Simon helped me out with my $76.28 purchase and all was well until the next day when I opened the new Juul package only to find out that my device was not working at all. After trying three different pods and even charging it for an hour, I concluded that my device must have been defective. I figured I would come back to Great Vape the next day to exchange it for a good, working one since the receipt I have states: "Hardware Return Policy: 30 days free return for exchange or refund if it's manufacturer defective." I came back during my lunch break on 7/7/21 and Jarold was there to help me resolve this issue. I explained what was happening and he proceeded to try to adjust the pod's contact points with a pick. After realizing that did not work, we tried a new pod with no success. We proceeded to charge the device (no success) while he phone contacted his manager Chris about doing a return or exchange. (His manager Chris was at another store location) Since manager Chris did not respond for the next 15 minutes or so, Jarold proceeded to offer me the sale of another Juul device in the meantime. Believing that the approval from manager Chris would not be a problem due to my Juul device being a defective hardware issue as stated on my receipt, I bought another Juul device. 5 minutes later Chris calls back, denying my request to return or exchange my defective device, stating that I need to contact the Juul company myself for a warranty replacement. I asked when Chris would be in next to speak to him personally, but was told he bounces around from store to store with no set schedule on when he would be in. I left Great Vape feeling ripped off, upset at the situation, and regretful with my decision to come here. Unfortunately, I was unable to return or exchange my obviously defective device at Great Vape as clearly stated otherwise on the receipt. To me, this is a terrible, disappointing, and unacceptable way to do business. I am now stuck with 2 Juul devices and the unnecessary headache of having to warranty the one I won't be needing anymore with the Juul company. Do yourself a HUGE FAVOR and AVOID Great Vape. I don't recommend any place that does business in this kind of way. There are many other smoke shops in the area I will be taking my business to from now on, you should too. read more

Great Vape is an awesome spot to check out if you are looking to quit smoking cigarettes and want to try vaping! This spot is under new management, the owner Sean who helped me out broke down every display case and flavor down to the T. I ended up purchasing an "Alien" vape which I was told is a good investment for moding out in the future. I ended up buying my girlfriend "Smoking Vapor Mi-1" because she wanted to quit smoking too she ended up loving it and smokes her vape everywhere ... that you can! I have gone through a good amount of my juice (kiwi dragon fruit) that I want to get more juices. There are 4 main reasons why Great Vape is dope! 1) They know their products and juices and can tell you their experience and preferences, which helped me with my purchases. 2) There's a bar... not a bar to get shots or a beer but a bar for juices for your vape. I couldn't count the number of flavors he had but it's literally a wall of vape flavors. It's pretty bad ass because you can taste test all of them basically. 3) It's totally relaxed inside, tons of seating to chill, a couch to relax on n a arcade game (I didn't get to play it or see the title) that said "FREE PLAY" and they have non alcoholic drinks for sale (sobe, monster, water, etc.) which seems dope cuz you and a friend or two can bring your vape, watch the Warriors game, listen to music and try some flavors and post. 4)This place supports local artists! Behind their display case they have over 30 piece of art up for sale all made by local artists. The money from the pieces go back to the artist, and not a single penny goes to the shop. It's great to see a mom n pop shop supporting local art. Not 100% happy with the service today. The little attitude i received was uncalled for. I was just asking to see 2 juices he recommended out of many. I didn't think should have not be hard. So for the shop employee to say, "i am not going to pull out many flavors, your just going to have to take my recommendation." Again that was uncalled for. Let me start by saying I am normally not the one to write reviews. This is only my second review on Yelp and my first negative one. I just went in wanting to buy a Juul because my old ones stopped working. Was also asking for alternatives to Juul if any. The guy working there angrily said they don't. I am no expert in any of the vapes and other devices. Wanting to get an understanding of what's different between a few branded devices and a typical Juul, I asked. His attitude was horrible, answers my questions with no clarity and some type of hostility. I honestly have never felt so unwelcome...
