The food is very good although they're a little heavy on the sauces, so I tend to ask for "little sauce" and the entrees come out more to my liking. I live in AZ and come up for a month to see my kids and go here every other night. It's the best there is. No where in AZ can we find chow mein, low mein noodles are passed off as such. We get enough on one dinner plate to feed two adults, and they don't charge us for soup when we order off the dinner menu because they know I come back every year. It's the best! read more

They have good food but it's a bit pricey. I normally do take out while there but every once in a while me and the wife will dine in. The dining area is about what to expect from a Chinese spot in the middle of nowhere. Service is friendly though. 4/5 would recommend if passing through Salkum, WA. read more

This is not really Chinese food. It is Chinese food the way the local people like it. The food is bland and dishes that should be SPICY are not. They're obviously open and making enough money to keep the lights on but after this visit, I won't be contributing to the business again. I was out of town on my way to Morton and decided to dine at this out-of-way Chinese restaurant. I ordered the curry chicken, which is usually a can't-miss dish. Unfortunately, I've had better. I don't know why but for some reason Chinese restaurants are no longer serving marinated chicken in their dishes but instead are offering what tastes like boiled chicken on the cheap. Such was the case here, and while the portions were generous and not expensive, I guess i got what I paid for. I didn't even eat half of it. The food is ok, the prices are a bit high for what you're getting. They were better in the past, but since Covid, the fillers in most of the dishes we order have gone way up (ex: celery, celery, celery). Years ago, most dishes had more of the good stuff: meat, sauces, onions & carrots, etc. Now, it seems like there is much less of those things. Most times now, I open my to-go container and see a huge, heaping load of noodles with celery and a small bit of meat; whereas several years ago that same dish would be vibrantly colored with different veggies, more meat and sauces. The prices have gone up quite a bit too, for less food. We usually do take-out, so I can't really speak to the in-house service. We live in a rural community, so I'm glad we have them as a choice; but I sure wish they would work on the quality of their food. I'd rather have a little less total food with more of the good stuff for the same price than what is available now. read more

I absolutely don't recommend this restaurant. We ate here in 2017 and it was just okay the first time. So about a year later in 2018 we decided to give it another try. It was much better and our meal was pretty tasty...until a couple hours later. I got full blown food poisoning. It absolutely was from here because it was the only food I had eaten. We had it for lunch. Fast forward to 2022. The had shut down for about a year and sold. When they reopened, we gave them another try and it was delicious. We came back several times and all but once it was really good, until it wasn't. On June 14th we had dinner there, it was very good, until a couple hours later when once again I got food poisoning from here. I know it was from here because all I had eaten that day was an organic banana. Please do yourself a favor, don't risk it, stay away. This might be the only Chinese restaurant in the area. Eaters are tourists and locals. I remember a time when the spring pancakes for moo shu pork/beef/chicken tasted like it was made with water, flour, salt; alas, that was not part of my meal. The filing part tasted as it should (green onions, (meat), green cabbage, wood ear fungus, scrambled egg, and bamboo. Filing tasted sweet instead of savory. I stop here on the way back from hiking in Mt Rainier National Park. I've been maybe 3 times so far and have not been disappointed. I took my friend after we went kayaking, and he was very impressed as well. A combination dinner has enough food to last me 3 meals, and for only $11- $12 that's a great deal. The food is incredible and service is super fast. They are only doing to-go orders at the moment, but the dining room is spacious, clean, and very homey. My only (small) complaint, is that the food is not spicy enough even when I request extra spicy - but that could be a positive for some people!! read more

In case you don't know where Silver Creek is, it is about halfway between Salkum and Mossyrock on US-12. :-) I just finished eating the #5: Fried Shrimp (4), Fried Rice, Egg Foo Yung, and Chicken Lo Mein. Your choice of egg flower or hot and sour soup as a starter. For three people to eat it was $29.09 tax included. Lots of food at a very reasonable price. Yuk . This is my first and last time eating there. Blubbery chicken , bland soup , not enough of a selection of vegetables in the Kung pao and the tea tasted weird. We stopped here on our way home to Eastern Washington. This place was beyond wonderful and the service was so fast. The decor is beautiful! We each ordered something different yet each dish was wonderful. The General Tso's is the best I've had in years! The portions are so generous we had enough to eat for another meal the next day! If you're a Chinese family coming through here on a road trip like mine, move along. You'll get the largest platter of the worst food you've ever eaten. I don't wanna be mean and scare away the few people that pass by here. I understand it's probably watered down for the palates of ... 'muricans (hyper sweetened) but this was probably the first time in my life that I almost barfed in a restaurant. I don't know what an egg foo yung is, but we ordered that and it had straight up thanksgiving gravy smothered in top of it. w h a t...?? It's not... horrible... it's just not.. Chinese.
