This has been our go to for Chinese. Their teriyaki chicken or as they call it, chicken on a stick was so yummy. My husband "cooked" tonight. The sesame chicken was as delicious as always. My General Tso Chicken was tasty but not as good as I have had elsewhere. I chose to order here for the convenience and I was satisfied. For take out it's the best that we have on this side of town that I can find. The food is always hot and I really have no major complaints. I wish that they would do something about the atmosphere inside of the building. It's almost like they are still in COVID mode with no seating and you cannot get within 15 feet of the front counter. I love the customer service and I've never had a bad meal here, going through most of the menu. Food is fresh, with good portions and extremely reasonable compared to other Chinese takeout in the area. Parking can be a bit of a chore on Sunday after church, but that's really the only, extremely minor downside. Highly recommended! read more

My favorite to-go Chinese restaurant in the upstate. Their food is always fresh hot, and delicious. I love their crab rangoons they are the best ones I've had in the area. They're the triangle shaped ones and have plenty of filling inside. The filling is not overly sweet, which is how I prefer them. I recommend their General Tso's chicken, sesame chicken, chicken and broccoli, and shrimp and broccoli. Their Mongolian beef is also very good. They are very quick and friendly as well. read more

New to the area, decent Chinese food is hard to find. Nothing compares to the spots up north but this place is pretty good. I really do like their fried rice, some places are hit or miss but here they're on point. Quick service, very friendly in there. Great Wall Chinese Restaurant is a regular hit for the family. My youngest son requested this for his birthday lunch with the family. The restaurant isn't much to look at from the outside, and my only real complaint with the location itself is the lack of AC. When its ninety degrees outside and the front door is open, you really only feel the AC when you visit the restroom. The staff are always very friendly and the food comes out very quickly. For drinks they offer tea, water, and cans or bottles of soda, along with cups of ice. My favorite two items here are the House Lo Mein (spicy) and the Singapore Mei Fun. When they first opened, you could order a dish spicy and they would give you spicy like it was a dare. Now everything is a lot less spicy so they've fallen off my food radar a bit. My children prefer to order General Tso's Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice and Sweet and Sour Chicken and these dishes at this location are all top notch. As a family this is always a quick and easy choice. Much like today, the food is good, not the best I've ever had, but it is definitely good enough to keep us coming back. read more

The woman I spoke with was very friendly and helpful and made suggestions to help me to get the best value. I have been spending my hard earned money at this restaurant since moving to this area. I visited this place and order a Large Chicken and Broccoli with Pork Fried Rice, and I was given White Rice. When I took it back to the window, the man that cooks the food had a bad attitude about it. Mind you I had already given these people a tip before I checked my food. When he brought rice back to the window he still had the Rice wrong. The third time he just threw the container out the window in my bag. The man that cooks the food is going to be the main reason this restaurant lose business and shut down. I do not understand how they have the audacity to be so nasty and rude to the very people that keeps their doors open especially when they messed up the order. I witness this happening to another customer that was in a wheel chair, and the same man was extremely rude to this lady. Customer Service is correcting something when it is wrong. Just fix it without an attitude! After my visit today, I was afraid to even eat the rice after I got home because it was wrong so many times, and the mans attitude was so bad. I do not recommend this place at all now. This was my favorite place for Chinese food, and since moving here I had told people about this place and even given menus to people where I live because I thought it was a great place to eat. After my visit today, I am definitely going to find somewhere else to go. The people that work here need some serious training in customer service, they have no clue what customer service is, and have no appreciation for the faithful customers that have continued to provide them business. read more

It's your typical Chinese takeout, tucked in a strip mall off Wade Hampton. I was warned by this place that it was not that great but I'm one of those people that I have to try places out for myself... so I called and ordered ahead then went to pick it up, order was done in about 10-15 minutes. The staff was friendly and inside was clean. I ordered the Honey Chicken Combo that comes with Fried Rice and an egg roll along with an order of Chicken Lo Mein in a pint. Food was mediocre, my honey chicken was a bit over fried and way too much honey sauce which made it too sweet to eat.. the egg roll was okay it had an odd taste to it. I may be spoiled by my previous Chinese takeouts, but I've always ordered a pint of lo Mein and usually you receive a big portion. This place literally means a pint in the smallest white cardboard box, which is okay but I wish I would have ordered the large because we share between 3 people. The lo Mein was actually really good and I would go back for just that! Nothing terrible but if I need a quick fix, I may come back. read more

This is the best Chinese I have had in years. I am a big fan of general tso's chicken. I like it spicy and usually have to order it extra spicy and it's still not spicy. This is great, the chicken is tender and very tasty, spicy, and the rice is great. It's a little farther to go here, but I'll go out of my way for this. We ordered a few lunch dishes which come w/ entrée and rice. The egg foo young and spicy garlic pork were very tasty. I received 2 large patties that were not greasy, as is the case sometimes. Tender steamed plain chicken n for a small dish not bad at all for the price. I just wsh they were able to sense thegarlic smell in th chicken even though I asked for plain. It was contaiminated with a garlic smell... :_( I have the 99.9% food allergy... n I know original chicken smells. Like a lot of the reviews state, this is "Americanized" Chinese food, but that's kind of what you would expect from this price point. The food is really good, and the service is always really fast. I got the General Tso's chicken combo that comes with beef fried rice and an egg roll (substitute rice for lo mein for about $1.50 more) a side of plain fried rice, and their crab rangoons for a total of like $17.50. This was enough to feed two adults with left-overs! And while it's always busy, I maybe only waited 5-7 minutes for my food. I'm sure I'll be going back to get my "Chinese food fix". read more
