Hibachi chicken and shrimp i love it
    Donna R.

Never disappointed by this place! Great food for a good price. Definitely recommend for everyone

Teriyaki chicken, rice with soy sauce and grilled vegetables.

Had lunch here today; teriyaki chicken, rice and grilled vegetables. Everything tasted great! The person who took/brought out our order wasn't very talkative but that's okay. The waiting area and dining area was pretty outdated but it seems like a lot of Chinese restaurants are. Very 90's. I will say that I was surprised at how roomy the dining area was. You could probably host a pretty sizable group here, and that's not super common for these types of places. I might have to come back some time and try some more items.

I've had better food. Tastes a little off.

I'm not too sure how to rate this place. The food has tasted off every time I've ate here. Small portions. Eh. Not a fan of the customer service either.

Food was tasty and hot. Came out in good time! They used pagers so I could wait for my food in my car.

A hidden gem in Greenville, South Carolina. This place offers groceries of a variety of food…read moreitems, kitchen ware and a authentic chinese restaurant attached. The restaurant is compact size and staff is friendly. Seated and serviced right away. Our server is very informative on the menu items when asked. Expect big groups, little wait time and get a bit loud dining in. Looks like a local favorite for authentic chinese cuisine. Served usually hot, fresh ingredients, and made delicous. Portion is generous and quality of food is suberb. Adding this to my regular must come when in SC list of authentic Chinese food. Photos does no justice. I ordered the half steam whole chicken with ginger sauce( sauce is so tasty), Pea tips and fish ball noodle soup. There all tasty. My favorite is the seasoned pea tips cooked and seasoned soooo yummy, I cant explain it if your a vegetable eater you must try it!!!!

The eggplant tasted a bit bland. The eggplant was cooked to the right texture, but they should put more garlic in it. The pea vine was acceptable because it was young enough. But I did have a bite on a tough piece. Again, they could put some more garlic in it. Comparing to the authentic Chinese restaurants in California, I would say that this would be in a third tier quality. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Heard a lot of good things about this restaurant so finally got to check it out with family today…read more08/03/2026. Waited for someone to arrive at the hostess stand, when she arrived the lady didn't smile and welcome us, she just asked how many and follow me. Server on the other hand was very friendly and helpful from start to finish. She brought us water and took our soup order. The weekday lunch menu includes a salad/soup with a meal. The won ton soup only had one wonton and my egg drop soup was flavorless. I visited the bathroom which was extremely clean and smelled fresh. In fact all of the restaurant was extremely clean. My son mentioned this fact to a guy cleaning the dining room tables. He was doing a great job, over and above the table he cleaned the wall, seats and floor too 5/5 Entrees ordered, didn't take long. Vegetarian dish with lots of bok choy was lacking any flavor. I ordered the Almond chicken, there were a million slivers of almonds on top of shredded chicken, served with white rice. Again no flavor. Also the beef with added spice was disappointing. Such a shame as I really wanted to like this place. We ordered the Banana spring rolls with ice cream to share. It was delicious JMO as usual

Five stars and then some…read more Lieu's Bistro is one of those rare spots where the food is excellent and the hospitality feels ancestral. You walk in hungry and leave hugged. The egg flower soup is pure comfort in a bowl. Silky ribbons of egg drifting through a golden broth that tastes like it has stories to tell. It is delicate but confident, warm without being heavy, the kind of soup that resets your whole mood. And the Szechuan salmon? Listen. Perfectly cooked, tender and flaky, wrapped in that bold, slightly spicy Szechuan glaze that dances instead of overwhelms. It has heat, depth, personality. Every bite feels intentional. What really sets this place apart is Peter and his wife. They do not just run a restaurant, they cultivate community. Every time I come in, they show me love like I am family. Not the polite, rehearsed kind. The real kind. The "good to see you again" with meaning behind it. If you want amazing food and an atmosphere that feels like home, Lieu's Bistro is it. Some restaurants feed you. This one embraces you.

Unlike a lot of other local Asian spots, everything here tastes incredibly fresh and never overly salty. The ambience is beautiful and the layout (and many windows) ensure that every seat in the restaurant is "the good table". The lovely people who work here are genuine, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant uses a cute server robot to deliver you beverages, and other items. Server staff still come to check on you so it's really just a fun addition and not a replacement for waitstaff. And the portions are GENEROUS! We always end up with enough leftovers for a full second meal or a late-night snack to share. Highly recommend!

Very Disappointing Experience…read more First off, the service was terrible. It took over 30 minutes for our food to come out, despite the restaurant not being very busy. The hibachi chicken was cut into huge, uneven chunks, and the portion of rice looked like it was being rationed. The presentation overall was not very appealing. We were also given the wrong vegetables, and when the carrots were brought out separately, they looked undercooked to the point that I didn't feel comfortable eating them. The sushi was also extremely disappointing. The rolls looked like they had simply been thrown onto the plate rather than being properly arranged and presented. Presentation was easily a 0/10, and the sushi itself was maybe a 3/10. I eat at a lot of Asian restaurants around Greenville, and unfortunately, Koi would be one of the worst experiences I've had. Between the poor service, incorrect food, lack of presentation, and disappointing quality, I would not recommend Koi if you're looking for good Asian cuisine.
