Going to have to disagree with the folks here, we find Chin's across the street much better. We tried Great Wall for the first time and wont be back. Had Singapore street noodles,Teriyaki chicken, and fried rice. Every member of the family complained about how dry and bland everything was.How on earth can Teriyaki chicken have no flavor?? Decided to give the great wall shot after being disappointed with Chins kitchen. This is probably the best take out in Doylestown for Chinese. Excellent flavors as well as good proportion of meats and fish the vegetables. Definitely worth a shot to try it. read more

Sesame chicken was very good as was the sweet and sour chicken. Had to add soy sauce to the fried rice and we did not like the teriyaki chicken. Also ordered wonton soup which was good as well as the miso soup. Overall it's the best Chinese I've found in Doylestown will definitely be ordering from them again. I have been to this new restaurant twice. I am not a person to get excited by Chinese take out joints (they have their place!) but this place is far better than others I have been to in this area. I grew up on Chinese and other Asian food. The dishes I had (Chicken and Broccoli, Fried Rice, Panang, Tom Yum) were good. The food tasted and looked fresh and were prepared authentically. My Asian food cravings are more than satisfied. The standard American Chinese options are available there are some authentic options (not just Chinese) as well. Some dishes are cooked on the safe side (not as Spicy as it could be) but still very flavorful. Dishes (e.g. fried rice) are not overloaded with soy sauce, which i think is more of an American than Chinese thing. The Tom yum, that comes with lunch, was very good. The people (Ella is at front) who run the shop are super friendly. Eat in (place is small), take out, or have your food delivered. If you like good authentic Asian food you will appreciate this place. It's the best in Doylestown, PA. read more

I had dinner here one night with my mother and fiance. We went here not knowing what to expect and curious to see what this long-standing Doylestown eatery had to offer. Initial impressions walking in the door started out bad. The floor was covered with dead flies and the plants sitting by the front door were withering and dying in the corner. The waitress was very amusing and kept repeating in broken english "Pu pu now, food later" upon taking our order. The food itself was ghastly. Cold, american style fried chicken wings, jellied barbecue sauce on rubbery, chewy rack of ribs and oily, greasy lo mein noodles. Even the water was lukewarm. This final bit may be nit picking, but even our check at the end of the meal had chicken scratch handwriting. The waitress had a good attitude though and her strange habits made it a "so bad it was good experience". God bless her. But that still won't make me give a good review to a poor restaurant. read more

great Chinese food in d-town. comparing to the direct competition in the immediate area, this is by far better. service is good, take-out quoted times are spot on, and food is delicious. we used to take-out from the competition, but since great wall moved in, this has been our go-to spot. consistency is key - and we are never disappointed. although there are two tables, this is really a take-out place. read more

This is probably the best Chinese to-go restaurant in Doylestown. I've tried others and they're a bit messy, food not pleasing and not that friendly to customers. We started ordering to-go when they opened as a new restaurant and then when I work late Monday's and Wednesday's me and my husband would go there and have a sit down meal. But usually we do Wednesday's now. They have a clean restaurant, welcoming staff and of course a lot of good choices of Asian food!! They don't stick to Chinese cuisines only. Me as my husband have tried almost everything in their menu. Wonton & miso soup, C. curry, S. Pad thai, C. Mango, C. Broccoli, Sesame C. The only thing I didn't like that much is their teriyaki. It had less sauce and not the usual teriyaki I get from Japanese restaurants knowing they are an Asian restaurant as well. Anyway that was the only thing I didn't like. The lady in the cashier even invited us on their New Years party now they know we keep coming every Wednesday night. Lol. Some would say they have a few sauce only on some of their food that's because they stick to their NO ADDED MSG advert since they started. I think that's healthier that way too. read more

Congrats to Doylestowns new chinese restaurant. Ive been disappointed by the other chinese place in town and was eager to try this new place. I had general tsos chicken and was quite pleased. It was unlike any tsos ive ever had- more spicy and less sweet than usual with a more delicate sauce- not as gummy as i often have. The broccoli was a bit cold but i attribute this to how busy the place was. Lots of people in line and the phone ringing off the hook. No doubt they were under pressure to perform and hurried things. Got their menu in the mail and thought I would try the place. Called in my order, was told 40 minutes. Went to pick it up at the correct time, waited another 25 minutes while the waiting area was filling up with a lot of other irritated people. Finally got my order, brought it home and it was the WORST CHINESE FOOD I ever had. 95% of it went down the Garbage Disposal. Egg Roll, Shrimp Fried Rice and Beef LoMein. Tonight was my 3rd time at this fabulous little place. My husband wanted a pre-Father's Day dinner and it was SO GOOD! The crab Rangoon alone gets me every time. They fold the delicate wonton over the creamy filling like a little empanada...somehow it's crisp and flaky without being greasy. And FINALLY a decent Pad Thai!! With a generous portion of tender fresh perfectly cooked shrimp. And the adorable lady who works there is the sweetest ever. I'm dying to try their curries. Huge portions, I lived on the wonton soup for days, I should have got 2...it makes you get out of bed at night for one more bite. Really really good, go there now. read more

I stopped into this restaurant to try them out; I got their menu in the mail. I was surprised to find that the place is tiny, and a little shabby with only a few tables, so I considered leaving, but decided to get food to go. I ordered 1 qt of wonton soup and 1 qt of hot and sour soup. What a shock when I got home and opened the bag; there were 3 small wontons at the bottom of the saltiest soup I've ever had anywhere; the good part was that they were soft, unlike the hard wontons I sometimes get. The other soup was even worse; strong, overly salty and a bit odd tasting and again, very short on ingredients. They did provide 2 extra small bags of very greasy, but fresh fried noodles complete with a greasy napkin at the bottom of the bag, and 2 fortune cookies. After some thought, I declare that this is the worst wonton and hot/sour soup I've ever had in my 50+ years of eating. Maybe their other food is worthwhile, but sadly, after trying their soup, I will NEVER go back! read more
