Avg Americanized Chinese food with a friendly staff. Chicken in general tso and sesame chicken is quite chewy. Lo mein is done as you'd expect. Dumplings tasted homemade and had good flavor. Teriyaki beef sticks were the hit of the night. Chicken with garlic sauce is good and would recommend. Beef and broccoli was also tasty. Fried rice was average. read more

Been getting takeout from here for years. It's a fairly typical takeout place which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Not really the kind of place you want to sit down and eat in but the food is good, no real complaints there. Decent prices and friendly cashier. Orders are quick usually ready in 10 minutes. This is basically a takeout spot in a small mall on the outskirts of town. There are a couple of tables, but the restaurant is dingy and takeout oriented. There's a weird vibe here - probably left over from Covid where there's a giant plexiglass screen across the entire front counter they want you to order by phone, even when in the restaurant. I ordered ahead, was told 10 minutes, and the food was ready when i arrived. The girl on the phone and filling my order was pleasant and cordial. BUYER BEWARE - the Yelp page says they take cards - and they do - with a $20 MINIMUM order. Luckily I had cash on me, so it didn't become a big issue. I ordered the General Tso's chicken lunch special with fried rice and a side of shrimp toast. The general's was cooked well and tasted good. It was not overly sweet or spicy, and the was a nice amount of broccoli with it. The fried rice was good as well, cooked fresh with nice bits of pork in it. The portion size is large and reasonable at the price point. The shrimp toast, however, was fried to fuck. It was burnt and crunchy and a big miss for me. I could tell the basic flavor WOULD have been nice, if it were cooked properly, but unfortunately it was not. All told, this is a better than average Chinese takeout that i would return to. 3.5 stars read more

Overall the quality of food is pretty poor and the service is nothing to speak of . All the dishes we had ordered have a heavy oil taste and lack of flavor . Was a bit reluctant due to location and appearance of inside of restaurant. Primarily take out with a few tables inside this small strip center. However, the food is very good, reasonable and ample portions. The choices are endless and it appears the family run business strives for excellence in food preparation and politeness. This is the second and last time I'll try this place. First time I couldn't even eat what I ordered - it was that bad. And it was just fried rice and dumplings, which are typically good everywhere. Tonight I figured I'd give them a second chance since they are in town and seem to be busy. Pork fried dumplings were soggy, tasted old and maybe reheated in the microwave? Lo mein was just edible. It's consistently up to par. The only things I've had here that I really don't like are the seafood and bean curd soups. Hot and sour and wonton are both really good. The tofu dishes are surprisingly decent too. The staff is always pleasant. They are accommodating when you want to make changes to your order. Chicken and broccoli is always a nice option, and so is kung pao chicken. The cheese wontons are awesome, and they give you a ton of them. read more

This is a typical Chinese-American counter order/takeout type of place. Nothing fancy but the food is pretty solid. We get takeout from here maybe once a month. We usually get broccoli/meat dishes, sesame chicken, egg rolls, and wonton soup. Tried the Chow Fun today for the first time and it was perfect. The ribs were good too. We just found out that Panda Bistro reopened after being devastated by Hurricane Ida in 2022 so stopped by to make that long awaited order. Took the menu out to the car to order via phone and was so excited to see everything I loved. When I got home with my very heavy bag my husband asked if I left anything for the rest of Lambertville! What a disappointment. Was really happy it had reopened after a long period of closure after the Ida flood, but something in the kitchen has clearly changed during that time. Portions are large and prices very reasonable. Usually on time with the order as we come from New Hope. Just make sure the woman understands the order. There has been mix ups where we had to go back. So somebody had to step in and balance out the negative nancy... Panda Bistro is awesome (and no, I'm not affiliated). The old standbys are all great (particularly the chef special orange chicken, which is divine). Their house special won ton is also very nice. Prices are reasonable, less expensive than anywhere else within driving distance, and in my opinion the food is of a higher quality. Chin's in Doylestown is very meh, as is Sunny, as is the place in Pipersville. Ming up in New Britain was good but they're gone. Wing Lee in Warrington is better, but also farther than I'm willing to drive for Chinese lest I'm up that way seeing a movie or some such. So Panda Bistro FTW. I've been going since they opened back in 2012 (I think) and will continue to go so long as the food remains good and the service courteous. read more

Located in an old strip mall, but this place is Clean inside. General tso's is too breaded and I could barely taste any chicken. Egg roll was also not very good...didn't like the flavor. The Fried rice was just ok. In general, I likely won't return. read more

All I have to say is their won ton soup is amazing! It's full of big chunky pieces that are delicious. Tried their vegetable rolls and they were pretty average, not nearly as amazing as the soup though. I Haven t had anything else yet so that's why I gave it four stars. Considering the options for Chinese food is pretty limited - This is the best chinese we have had here in a long time. Fu Li was always so expensive for moderate to Ehhh chinese. They were always so stingy on the fortune cookies too. I have liked the shrimp and veges here. My kids like the egg rolls and so far every dish we have tried has been pretty good. I wouldn't say this is the end all be all of Chinese. However consider supply and demand. This place is good. B+ read more

Just dropped in for General Tso lunch special. This dish was absolutely disgusting. The chicken (if it was chicken) had no chicken taste whatsoever. And worse - it was the toughest, chewiest meat I have ever eaten. Imagine a leftover cut of chicken 2 weeks in the fridge, dropped into sauce and then fried. It was so tough, my jaws and my teeth hurt after 4 bites. I thought maybe it was just the smaller pieces. Nope - I worked my way through 4 pieces, sampling the larger ones in search of something edible. No luck. I am not sure how chicken this chewy could even be safe. Baking a breast on high at 500 degrees for 2 hours would result in some dry, tough chicken. It would at least be edible, and safe for dental work. This dish was not. Incidentally, it took 25 minutes for them to prepare this. The problem should not have been that I was eating something made earlier in the day, but who knows. read more

Pretty good takeout for lunch. Not gourmet, but generous and flavorful. A few tables inside, but really a take out joint. Reasonably priced, big big portions (unusual for Lambertville/New Hope), and very very friendly service. The classic pepper steak with onion is very good, the sesame chicken better than passable, leftovers are virtually guaranteed, under $10 with a drink. I like it! read more
