We love this place. They have so many amazing dishes. They consistently provide high quality food. We order the string beans, Mongolian beef, crispy orange beef, shrimp in black bean sauce, double cooked pork. Tonight we ordered all of that and spare ribs on the bone and fried wontons in sesame sauce. So much food for a family of 4. We wanted to get a good fix in, just in case we can't have them again for a while. Try this place. It's great! read more

This place is so great! It's our first time here but My boyfriend and I ordered take out pretty late about an hour before close and was greeted with smiles and FRESH food!! This is the place for quick Chinese food. I always get it to go but there is seating if you'd like to dine in. Its a nice little restaurant. It's always quick and efficient, not to mention the quality you get is good. The staff is always super pleasant and the food always ready. I don't think it's taken more than 15 minutes. Let me say first the food here is pretty good for the price you pay. The only complaint I have is with the lady who takes your order. I have been three times and each time she made me feel like I was a problem to her. She is very snippy and rude when talking to customers. Normally I would blow it off as she has had a hard day but 3 times the same rude treatment. They use to have another greeter who was much friendlier to customers. I hope they are able to find someone else who treats customers in a friendly manner. Once again their food is pretty good just customer service needs a drastic change. read more

This is the best Asian food I've received so far in Charleston. It was prepared pretty fast and tasted really good for the price. The take out portions were generous and we had enough for lunch leftover the next day. Compared to some of the other Asian food I've paid for in Charleston this was very good. We have eaten here a few times since moving to the area and are always very happy. The food taste super fresh, the staff is very friendly and our orders are always out in a timely fashion, nice an hot. Also the restaurant is always very clean. We have done both call in orders and stopped in, but we always take it togo, however there are tables inside if you wanted to eat there. I would say the only bad thing I have to say is their website said you can order on line but there is an issue with the site that does not let you select the items (I did leave feedback on this so hopefully it gets fixed and doubt the owners have any direct control on the site, more likely outsourced). read more

This little restaurant is run by really hardworking (it's swamped on a Friday ) and friendly people. The egg fried rice and chicken is the best I've ever had and their spring rolls are excellent, too. On occasion, my order hasn't been right and the wait time can be really long (45 mins durink peak hours), but it doesn't bother me too much because I know whatever is in that bag is going to taste fabulous. For my first visit, I loved the Chicken Egg Foo Yung, even though I normally prefer a lighter brown gravy, this dark thinner gravy was very good! Was so pleased the fried rice had a nice flavor, was fresh and didn't taste like it had been sitting around all day. Though I look forward to tasting the spring rolls (my preference), the egg roll wasn't bad, though it could have used a little more filling. I'll definitely visit again! read more

It is disrespectful to your customers to tell them 15-20 minutes to pick up an order, when you know it will not be ready. After being told 20 minutes, I waited 30 minutes, because previous orders were not ready on time. While waiting with 2 kids for 45 minutes, I finally had to cancel the order. I was happy to give my business to Moe's across the street. It's a shame too, because the food was decent, but I won't be back. read more

Horrible customer service. Called in after getting home and tasting lunch. Food was salty to the point where eating a large quantity would likely bring on a headache from the sodium. Took it back and the lady working the counter tasted a string bean and advised me she did not think it was salty, it was ok. She then proceeded to explain how her executive chef is excellent and has worked 4 years as a chef. I then politely let her know I understand his tenure and that he follows the recipes as written. I told her people have different taste buds and for mine it is too salty and I can't eat it. She then states she will replace the food this time ONLY and in the future if there is an issue she isn't fixing it. She continues to tell me that if i find something I don't like don't order it. I advised her that is exactly why I'm ordering an entirely different meal bc I do not want further issues. This is not the first time I or a family member have had issues with the salt, it has been hit or miss. This is the first time I've brought it to the establishments attention. Overall, the food is good. The lady behind the counter is right, she will replace my food only once bc I'm NEVER returning here bc of the experience and her debating me. She as well as the cooks aren't the original husband and wife duo that worked here since they opened. The prior management team was extremely friendly and helpful. If they ever return here, I will be back. The food item i ordered looked different from how it's usually prepared which lets me know the staff has replaced the original staff. read more

Tried almost every Chinese restaurant in Summerville before finding Great Wall, the hunt was finally over. Great Wall is our go to Chinese take-out restaurant. Highly recommend the Egg Foo Young, it's a bit greasy, but in a good way. Truth be told, we have had to wait about 10-15 minutes past the ready on more than 1 occasion. read more
