Julian was open to new ideas and always delivered solid hair cuts that made me feel comfortable. She asked if there's anyone i was impressed with from the reviews that I would like to book I said know just as long this stylist is comfortable with this particular haircut I called her back to set the appointment for today 07/08 @11am she stated Desire will be our stylist As soon as we get there Desire is available and welcome my son and led him back to her chair and I can hear her ask him "ok so what are we doing today" wth?????? RED FLAG #2 I intervened and informed her of my conversation with "Kathy" and showed her the pics and immediately confirm what had told my son that his hair on the lower back of his head was not long enough and so the haircut wont look exactly like the picture but that she would do the "wolf's cut" no problem i asked very clearly if she felt the hat she couldn't do it to just let me know " no harm no foul" we would just leave and she said it wouldn't be a problem I left with my other two kids to get something to eat across the street and 45mins later my son called me to say that he was done I thought that was way to fast considering the helmet of hair he's had might have need it a lot more attention that 45mins So I finally walk over to him and when I seen him I immediately said to I don't see anything different from when he walked in! Same hairstyle same length the only difference was that it did look cleaner I asked her is this it can you at least style it or put product?? She responded that she had removed a lot of volume but his hair need to grow more to achieve that look Wth!!!! So what did I actually pay $60 for ? For her to clean it? What was the purpose of doing all this research and confirming with them before the cut that this was something they can actually do!? I'm in sales and avoid bringing people in just to make the sale if you're not going to give them what they want! Have morals and set real expectations. The only difference from when my son walked in and when we left was less volume and she comb it. I'm still asking my self where is the "wolf's cut" that I paid for!!???? Never got it!

The appointment lasted 7 hours, yet at no point during that time was I informed that the cost was progressively increasing. Only when the service was completely finished and I was about to be blow-dried did Irma suddenly tell me the price was now $500 because it took longer and required more product. That is not transparency. Transparency would have been informing me the moment the service was exceeding the quoted price and giving me the opportunity to approve the additional cost or even giving me a range at the beginning contingent on time/product used. Instead, I was presented with a final amount 75% higher than originally quoted after all the work was already done, leaving me with no real choice but to pay it. A quote that almost doubles without any discussion until checkout is unacceptable. Clients deserve better communication and basic respect when it comes to pricing.
