We took our daughter to Great Wolf Lodge in Naples for her birthday and stayed for two nights. Overall, we had a blast! The water park was fantastic--slides, waves, and enough chlorine to make me question if I still had eyebrows. Our daughter had the time of her life, and that's what really mattered. The food? It was... food. Not bad, not great--just kind of there, like a wolf-themed cafeteria experience. But hey, we didn't come for the fine dining; we came for the slides and the endless supply of kids running around in wolf ears. Place was pretty fun. Definitely gets pretty crowded later on in the day, but if you get up early and head to the waterpark you pretty much have the whole place to yourself until about noon. After that I would go find something else to do. I was there with my seven-year-old and my three-year-old. My three-year-old loves to get into literally everything. We did the mini golf which is right in the middle of the adventure land area and that was like a big playpen for him because nobody else was interested in mini golf apparently. The resort was pretty cool, the only thing that was kind of annoying is the lighting is so incredibly dark especially in your room. Don't be stupid, don't plan on buying every single meal at the place. The food looks terrible anyway. There's plenty of places to go eat off the property. Really awesome place called "grouper and chips" that I would definitely recommend if you want to eat authentic grouper while you're in Florida, which you should because that's the Florida staple. Also, it looks like a lot of people on these reviews are saying that they had issues with returning towels and stuff like that. Simple solution, don't allow charging on your wristband and bring your own towel. Anything you pay for, just pay for it using your credit card, avoid the hassle, it's simple. I was not drinking this trip, but I did notice a lot of people had their own drinks and own coolers in the waterpark. They were soft coolers but I don't think the staff care at all. It's impressively large, with various rides that were genuinely fun for everyone. However, it felt extremely packed, which may have been due to the location's newness or simply because we visited on a weekend. That said, we appreciated how efficiently things were run -- the color-coded wristbands based on height at the entrance are a smart touch, and the lines moved surprisingly quickly. It was a solid experience, though crowded. Food at the Water Park Ordering food in the water park is managed through a digital kiosk, and you get a text when your order is ready. A handy feature, but it made me wonder: why not offer a QR code so guests can order directly from their phones, rather than waiting in line to use the kiosk? While the food quality was decent, everything was overpriced. And here's a personal gripe -- they only serve Pepsi products with a fixed amount of soda per cup. There's a system where you scan your cup to dispense the exact quantity you paid for, so no refills. It felt restrictive, as if they were going out of their way to limit guests. Room Experience Our room was spacious and included a good-sized smart TV, which was nice. But I had issues with the thin walls; it's almost like they forgot to soundproof anything. We waited nearly an hour in line just to reach the front desk because they were clearly understaffed. After finally getting to check-in, I explained that I had just lost my physical ID but had a clear photo of it on my phone. Instead of offering any level of understanding or solution, the staff was immediately rude and dismissive. The supervisor on duty, Caitlin, was especially unprofessional. She repeatedly told me their policy is "black and white," that it was not her fault I lost my ID, and that I could not check in under any circumstances without the physical copy. She also stated they could not offer any refund. She was fully prepared to turn me and my three children away with no resolution after I had already paid nearly $1,800. There was no effort to problem-solve, no attempt to escalate, and no willingness to help. I even asked for a higher-level supervisor and she refused to provide that information. Her tone was passive-aggressive, and it was very clear that guest experience was not a priority. What made this even more frustrating is that when I left to search my car and thankfully found my ID, I returned to check in with a different employee. He was kind, professional, and all he did was briefly look at my ID. It was not scanned or verified in any special way, just visually checked, which proves that some level of discretion could have been used from the beginning. Additionally, the property itself did not feel well maintained. There was broken glass from an alcohol bottle outside near the front entrance where families were taking photos, which is completely unacceptable for a place centered around children. Stayed overnight at Great Wolf Lodge because it was a better deal than one day pass to the water park, totally worth it. The room was clean and worked well for my family to have bunk beds (again, for less than a day pass). Of course they get you with parking, whatever, but the water park is worth every penny. I have two 3 year olds and a 1.5 year old and they all had an absolute blast. I can't speak to the restaurants much, we paid $40 flat for a breakfast voucher for my family of 5. Very much worth it, staff was friendly and helpful and the food all tasted good. Otherwise we ate offsite for dinner and brought in leftover Costco pizza for lunch, because resort prices. I'm very disappointed with the parking there. I paid for parking upon my arrival. Then when I left my bracelet wouldn't let me out of the parking lot so I had to scan the ticket I got when I went in. So then I ended up paying for 2 days. I did not even get a receipt just have proof of the charge in my card. So I had 60 something dollars for parking when it should have been 20 something. The man I talked to when I called was no help. The ace parking website was no help because I did not receive a receipt and it asked me for the info from the receipt. We wanted a last minute get away. This was perfect. It wasn't too busy and tons of activities for the kiddos. We did family water slides, lazy river, wave pool and of course caught the uv next to the pool. If you have littles this is ur one stop shop. Great for a staycation if you're a local or kid at heart. We went really for the indoor water park for my toddler and he had an amazing time and in his words "so much fun"! From the check in experience, very friendly customer service and desk agents. We were lucky and our room was available a little earlier. They have more than enough carts for your luggage and had aka character meet and greet while we were checking in. We did the water park both days. There's a toddler area, about two-three slides where the big water bucket is, two family rides, one dual ride coaster and about two single slides. They also have a mini wave pool and the pads you can climb and a cool little water basketball area. The 4/5 stars was for the food, breakfast we did their Dunkin donuts in the hotel but could never find any good lunch or dinner spots. There's pizza they served us seemed like it was sitting out all morning. Dippin Dots were good, can't go wrong with some ice cream but they also have an ice cream bar. Rooms were very clean, bracelet keys were kind of annoying but being able to pay everywhere with the bracelets was super convenient. We would bee back! Definitely recommend going as there is no other lodge like this in Florida that can compare with an indoor water park. My friend and I both felt the food was very good for Water park amusement food. Definitely better than most. I am a frequent lodge and hotel traveler to other similar themed parks and this is a great option locally without having to fly or travel more than 90 minutes away. I can't even get to Disney in less than 2.5 hours. Also on a cold rainy Florida day with highs only in the 60s this was an absolute must do if you're wanting to keep the kids happy and entertained while adults are also happy! And don't forget to stop at the gift shop and get your free Wolf Ears!!! Everyone gets ears! We went on a discounted day so keep an eye out for deals. $40 / per person for full day water park. There are also super deals if you're flexible on the dates right now. Suites for almost half off including the water park passes. Sign up for email deal if you're a local! We had a very friendly check in and there was a line of about 15 guests but only waited in about 10 minutes . We also got a Cabana because we had a member of our family with a sprain so we needed guaranteed seating and comfort. Well worth it. There's only about 13 cabanas so if you want a cabana make sure to book it in advance. Cabana and service was better than expected. I scanned the QR code and can either order from phone or call server. We opted to call for server. Jordan was amazing!! She was always there in a few minutes from the point of phone request and would often check in even when we didn't call her. Excellent service and very knowledgeable with the menu and options. Actually easier to speak with her than order online. The food was also better than expected and better than any amusement park food. We had : grilled chicken sandwich cheeseburger pepperoni pizza French fries cheese curds and elephant ear fries! Seriously get the cheese curds elephant ear fries with chocolate sauce ..... outstanding!! There also was bar service . Everything in a can or plastic cup. Good options! The water park was super fun for our kids. Water temp was perfect. All the slides were working Lots of life guards . Literally a life guard about every 20 feet. I felt great wolf had a very good handle on keeping it a safe and was above average. Aside from the water park was non stop entertainment throughout the day with updates on what to do. The late night dance party in front of the fireplace was really cute . All in all this is a must try especially when the weather is not good! The Great Wolf Lodge recently opened in Naples, Florida, and we decided to check it out for the weekend. While the kids had a great time, it's clear they're still working out some kinks. No one mentioned where to get the magic wand, and the staff member helping us simply walked away without saying goodbye--grabbed her purse and left, which felt odd. Everything is pretty much self-service, including luggage etc, which takes away from the experience when paying so much per night. That said, it's a fun place for kids, and there's definitely plenty to keep them entertained. The rooms have a cool, lodge-inspired feel and can accommodate several guests comfortably. The hotel is also very clean. However, I will mention that the bartender by the outside pool was pretty rude--it almost felt like we were bothering her when we asked for anything. While I wouldn't recommend staying for more than a few days--especially for locals--there are day passes available for those looking for a shorter visit. The waterpark is really cool, and there are several places to eat inside, though none offer healthy options, so we ended up Ubering in food. This was our second visit to a GWL. I'm so disappointed that it did not compare to the one in GA, given that it is so much closer to us. The pools were dirty, with algae on the floor. The Dunkin service was horrible. They lost my order and didn't want to speak to customers, so it took half an hour to get it. They did not enforce rules, such as people playing their own music at the outdoor pool or allowing women to wear thong bikinis to a family water park. And most of all, after speaking with, chatting with, and emailing multiple times, they charged me double for parking. We stayed here for a few nights and it was awesome! We started going to Great Wolf Lodge when my oldest was under 1 and he is 12; we typically go multiple times a year and have been to multiple locations over the years but usually go to Kansas City 2-4 times a year until Covid and 1-2 times a year since. This is a brand new lodge and you can tell. It's beautiful! Everything is clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful! The story time "Legend of Luna" is a must watch; they have it 2 times at 8pm and 9:45pm! They also have 2 dance parties each evening. We stayed in a kid cabin room which has 3 beds in the cabin and a queen of full bed and a pull out sofa couch. It's spacious and comfortable. We ate at most of the restaraunts at the resort and they were good; I plan to do reviews for each restaurant separately. The water park has some really cool water slides! There are 2 family slides which you can go with 2-5 people. We always get wolf passes which include lots of activities. If you plan to use the ropes course or adventure tail be sure to bring close toed shoes and make sure your girls have shorts as both are required. read more

Let's start with my reservation of a Suite that sleeps 10-12 people. Upon entering my room turns out "suite" was just two adjoining rooms at the suite price. I paid $700++ for this not so sweet suite. Once in the room we noticed there was no microwave ~ turns out it is a community microwave for the whole floor next to the ice machine. All the amenities in the room, including sheets and pillow were way below standard. If you wanted or needed housekeeping we were told we needed to call for it. Not an automatic amenity. The waterpark was enjoyed by my 5 grandchildren - and that's about it. The rest of the hotel kid amenities were sub par, small and expensive. Day 2 i rented a cabana ~ $200 from 10am - 8pm It was the best part of the stay UNTIL at 3pm the lifeguards whistled everyone out of the pool The reason: It might rain. Not a cloud in the sky, no lighting or thunder, not one of the many golf course lightning alarms going off ~ maybe they just wanted to go home ~ but my cabana day ended at 3pm - i felt like i should be refunded but there it was explained to me that there was a weather clause in case of bad weather, no refund. What bad weather - BTW it never rained that afternoon. The Food: Poor quality, Poor service and stupid expensive. We started to eat off property after the first day. Even Dunkin Donuts (on property) was extremely limited in it's donut choices ~ what a shame. The first night in the room, we all took showers and each one of us came out complaining about the slippery tubs so when the next day when we heard that a toddler had slipped in the tub, struck her head and drown it was no surprise. Such a sad and horrible day for the family as well as all the hotel guests. They should really consider investing into no slip bathtubs before someone else gets hurt. Overall one of the most disappointing hotel experiences i have ever had. I have worked in Hotel and Club hospitality for over 35 years. This was, by far, my worst hotel experience. Best waterpark ever! I would rate it a 1000/10 if I could! Every slide was a blast, even the kiddie ones! We especially loved the 5 person slide Breakaway Bay and the yellow single person slide. The kids absolutely loved it all. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Lifeguards really know their stuff! They don't sit on tall chairs and passively watch the water- they walk back and forth by the pools and look over every inch of water. We felt super safe with them watching over the kids while they swam. The waterpark supervisors were so helpful with answering my questions and providing outstanding customer service. Pretty decent waterpark. Slides are good, lines weren't too long, food was ok. But the customer service was not so great and a few employees were rude. There were a lot of nice ones (especially the people at the top of the slides), so my heart goes out to them. They were understaffed, so I could see it being difficult for them though. What was off about the room was that there wasn't a door and it was warm even though the air was on 68 degrees (probably because there was only a small air vent). Even though I had few not great things to say, overall this is a pretty good waterpark and they also have an indoor play area and an arcade, so a lot of entertainment. The water park is very limited for 10 years old kids. We have to pay for adults, even though were were just waiting, and it was very hot! The next day the park opened at 10:00 am but the check out was at 11:00! But they play music loud so you can wake up early and go to the lobby and buy food. Thanksgiving meal was a flop. It was that bad. Plus they charged my 13 yr old as an adult, $60 for a plate! When for breakfast the same morning at the same restaurant they charged him as a child. AND they added $40 gratuity 18% without telling us. The receipt says gratuity automatically added for a party of six or more and we had five. The waiter tried lying to us saying "well I told you that it's holiday so we automatically charge tip." No he did not! But here is the kicker, the servers never even served us. The most they did was walk us to our table and show us where the buffet is. That's it. $40 for what? And it's all buffet style meals and self serve for drinks! Think Golden Corral or Ponderosa style buffet. $280 for dinner for our family that sucked. The breakfast at Timber Wolf was horrible as well as the food at the food court. Cafeteria grade food at best. Most of the food was canned even the mac & cheese. They couldn't even make mac & cheese from scratch? It's not even that hard. The mac & cheese look like Chef Boyardee canned mac & cheese, not kidding! I recognize those noodles. Fireside restaurant had a little bit better food but still not worth what they charge. The french fries are obviously frozen fries, the smokehouse burger was decent, but the spinach dip was definitely frozen too. The salsa and chips were canned and out of a bag, completely disappointing. The rooms were nice and spacious, the pool was fun. My kids loved the rope course the best. Bowling is first come first serve so we didn't get to do that. The lines were long and only a few alleys to play on. Just an ok experience. I have experienced better locations in Ohio and California. But I expected better from the Naples location. And why no dress code for the waterpark? It's a family place, women should not be wearing thong bottoms. read more

We visited this lodge after a mostly positive experience in their Atlanta location. We found the slides to be sub-par, but worst of all was weight limits on slides that significantly restricted what we could do. These limits didn't exist in Atlanta so we didn't even think to check if it would be an issue. We were shamed on one slide and directed to another where we were then shamed again. It made us nervous to try any others and ruined what was a special Christmas vacation gift. Within a couple of hours of getting there, and even before we'd got the call to check in, we all wanted to go home :(. ... and that's before the crazy prices for food and beverage and a lack of provision for food allergies which meant one of our party could not eat the entire trip. To add to this, while making our reservation on line we clicked a link during the upsell process to find out how much a late check out would cost. I can't even begin to tell you the level of frustration that I have for this company. Their customer service is so far below par, I would leave a zero stars if Yelp would allow me. It has been over three months since I cancelled a reservation, and am still waiting on the full refund. I have been hung up on, told that I should have called earlier, and have had emails go out that have never been responded to. I just called the customer service line at the corporate office, and they could not connect me with anyone, and so I left a message with the operator. When I can't get resolution, I consider myself a reasonable person, and try to go up the corporate ladder, but I can't even get an email address or speak to a live person! For a brand new location there are issues that will not be resolved anytime soon. A/C is not properly distributed throughout the suites. Cold water in one shower and steaming hot in another. These issues are in most of the rooms which means there were some construction misses. Dunkin Donuts was a mess, waited 45 minutes just to get a refund.
