Hello, just wanted to bring something up regarding our stay in NAPLES location from Aug 28 to 30. We have stayed in many hotels and water park Hotels and this is the first negative 1 star and complaint that am filling. Case Number: 1. First, we were trying to self checkin with the code on Aug 28 in one of the kiosk. We were not able to do that as it was brought up to our attention that the only way to self checkin is you have to select parking option. We took an Uber, so we did not need parking. The person who helped us said that we need to include parking and then he will take it off later. Some1 needs to check this process as it doesn't make much sense. 2. Then, we asked about the Wolf ears for my child at checkin, they directed us to an area where the only way to get those ears was to listen to the sales pitch about booking future vacations at other locations. This is not right! 3. Then, we had to haul out bags, as there are no bellhops! We go inside our room excited, and we see a roof(I will include the picture of room 3155) on the same level as our room! The hotel was at about 15 percent capacity at the time based on people in the pools, restaurants and lobby and they assigned us the worst view room in the hotel! After spending another 30 minutes talking to them, they said that we must pay more and upgrade to get a better view. This is really ridiculous. After back and forth, the finally gave us another room on 7th floor(7173). We carried our luggage's again to 7th floor, and we noticed that the bathroom wasn't flushed from previous guests(Descusting!) Again, the assigned us a room with the roof view although it was not on the same level as the roof this time. 4. We go have a breakfast buffet at Timbers at 11:05 and they tell us they are closed! The app shows that the close at 11:30am. They had to Bring out the manager and he basically said that the app has the wrong closing time and they close at 11:00. He was cool and still took care of us. 5. We tried to get Duncan Donuts donut for my daughter and we noticed that there were flies everywhere where the donuts were kept and stuck to the donuts! Yaks. We told that to the staff and all they said was that they will throw them out. 6. We paid for the Magi game and most of the machines were down! Waste of money. 7. Me and my wife noticed we had bites on our legs and arms. It looked like bed bugs bites! I will post pictures. We notified the staff, the manager and inspector came to our room and looked and said they couldn't see any bugs. Usually you would not see them as they hide inside mattresses. All he said was they will do a full investigation and let us know later what the found. Nothing was offered to us. 8. Had to get rid of 2 of my luggage's as precaution (see # 7) 9. No Balconies! 10. We were excited to check out this hotel and water park in Naples. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed all the amenities. This place is definitely for kids with some free activities as well as paid. Once making a reservation, lots of emails and texts were arriving closer to our stay. I highly recommend getting one of the paw passes because you do end up doing everything more than once. The water park is great but I wish the water temperature was a few degrees warmer. Towels are provided and there are lockers to secure your stuff. Bring a sweatshirt or a robe because it is really cold once you are finished and its a bit of a walk back to your room. The ropes course is really cool and you can stay up there as long as you want. The bowling alley is also more fun than typical bowling so expect to play more than you imagine. The arcade has tons of the typical ticket games but it's really clean, bright and the staff were overly generous. We tried to avoid buying a wand but when your son sees everyone else doing it, forget about it and enjoy it. There is a Dunkin', ice cream store and a few restaurants, which you can mostly order on their app to avoid lines and wait times. The room is spacious with the bunkbed in a separate section but without a door. There is a refrigerator and coffee machine. Weekend was definitely busier than weekday but all the lines moved quickly and staff have been really friendly. The free activities like arts and crafts, yoga and dance parties were very well organized and fun. There are parking fees and a resort charge per day, which is annoying but typical for these types of hotels. We appreciated all the garbage cans in the parking lot and everywhere else. It was very clean with a lot of staff helping in each section. We all had lots of laughs and fun and probably will return with our wolf ears on. read more

Pros: Fantastic family atmosphere with tons of activities for the kids. The level of interactivity was unparalleled and the production value between cartoons and performances by staff were top notch. There was a phenomenal story time at 8 that literally brought the lobby alive. Then there as a dance party after that. The water park was beyond amazing especially considering it is all indoors. So many fantastic slides. The wave pool was small fry compared to what we are used to but perfect for little kids. The lazy river was packed but enjoyable. The ropes course was very fun if a bit daunting for younger kids but I think the coups de grace was the MagiQuest which kept the kids entertained for hours. Cons: Walls in the hotel room are paper thin. This seemed an insane oversight considering the clientele. Our hotel room neighbors were absurdly loud until the very late hours of the night and kept us awake far past a reasonable hour. Hotel staff did nothing to address this and quiet hours start at 11pm. For a kid oriented resort this was painful and nearly irredeemable. Food service was mediocre at best. The food was decent quality but the servers were often rude and unhelpful and clueless and seemed to not know what was going on. After being a guest at many other lodges this lodge has much to work on. If one was a first time guest one may leave with mixed emotions due to the financial difficulties this lodge has. Yes the water park was a great experience for the kids as was magic Quest. I really enjoyed the layout and design which appeared superior to the other lodges. The entertainment staff was by far the best compared to other GWLs. They interacted with the kids and even those kids that sit on the outside looking in were enjoying themselves. The programming was extremely fun. The legend of Luna was amazing. The only criticism I would give for the entertainment staff is to make the entertainment more different each day. The selection of entertainment is the same every day not enticing one to want to spend more than a day or two at the lodge. However, in comparison to the Williamsburg location Naples falls way below expectations. Magic Quest was more contained but it just was not as memorable as Williamsburg. However as a parent of both young kids and teen kids Naples magic quest would be more desirable for the younger children, whereas Williamsburg would appeal to the preteens and older. In comparison to Charlotte NC or Right outside of Atlanta GA Naples falls again below when it comes to their dining as well as home made candy and fudge. When it comes to those who are frequent to GWL Naples just does not welcome you back like all the other lodges. Perhaps they are just too new or the staff does not know what the other lodges do. One thing one must agree on is Naples certainly keeps their lodge clean. The rooms were immaculate as was the water park; well at least the inside waterpark. The outside pool was clean but their bathrooms outside were filthy. As for their discounts for those that purchased the lifetime refillable cups Naples does not honor that promotion. Naples also does not fully honor their Veterans discounts. In defense on the upper management we did address the discounts policy and were told that they would retrain the staff that denied the discounts. Would I return? Perhaps I will but it will be at least 6 months to give their staff time to mesh with what the other lodges do. Do I like their parking? Not at all one should not have to pay for parking if they are overnight guests. I get the parking costs for day guests but not overnight. This was the first lodge where we experienced having to pay. Again management did credit our parking due to being on a promotion but I'm not certain about the desire to return if they maintain charges for parking. My final complaint was the disorder of their Dunkin Donuts. One must order from a kiosk and employees will not accommodate those with disabilities without making them feel uncomfortable for asking. It's great to have Dunkin available but it certainly does no justice when it is a bother to have assist a guest. read more

We couldn't wait to try this place. It's definitely a great addition to Naples but definitely need to work out a few kinks. The check in took forever. When we got to our room, the bathroom was locked. When housekeeping came, they didn't refill the coffee, and Dunkin donuts line is too long . The pros are all the indoor amenities . The rooms are very mid--think basic hotel chain vibes with a few wolf-themed touches. The water park, while large, felt chaotic and unorganized. The only real highlights were the two big family slides, which were genuinely fun--but everything else was either overcrowded or hard to access due to the seriously limited seating. Between the long lines, lack of chill space, and general disarray, we couldn't help but feel like we overpaid. We took our daughter to Great Wolf Lodge in Naples for her birthday and stayed for two nights. Overall, we had a blast! The water park was fantastic--slides, waves, and enough chlorine to make me question if I still had eyebrows. Our daughter had the time of her life, and that's what really mattered. The food? It was... food. Not bad, not great--just kind of there, like a wolf-themed cafeteria experience. But hey, we didn't come for the fine dining; we came for the slides and the endless supply of kids running around in wolf ears. The staff were all super friendly, but I swear, I felt like I was at a high school reunion I wasn't invited to. Everyone working there looked like they were fresh out of homeroom. At one point, I caught myself wondering if I should ask one of them if they finished their algebra homework. Now, the front desk was where things got interesting. Place was pretty fun. Definitely gets pretty crowded later on in the day, but if you get up early and head to the waterpark you pretty much have the whole place to yourself until about noon. After that I would go find something else to do. I was there with my seven-year-old and my three-year-old. My three-year-old loves to get into literally everything. We did the mini golf which is right in the middle of the adventure land area and that was like a big playpen for him because nobody else was interested in mini golf apparently. The resort was pretty cool, the only thing that was kind of annoying is the lighting is so incredibly dark especially in your room. Don't be stupid, don't plan on buying every single meal at the place. The food looks terrible anyway. There's plenty of places to go eat off the property. Really awesome place called "grouper and chips" that I would definitely recommend if you want to eat authentic grouper while you're in Florida, which you should because that's the Florida staple. Also, it looks like a lot of people on these reviews are saying that they had issues with returning towels and stuff like that. Simple solution, don't allow charging on your wristband and bring your own towel. Anything you pay for, just pay for it using your credit card, avoid the hassle, it's simple. I was not drinking this trip, but I did notice a lot of people had their own drinks and own coolers in the waterpark. They were soft coolers but I don't think the staff care at all. A handy feature, but it made me wonder: why not offer a QR code so guests can order directly from their phones, rather than waiting in line to use the kiosk? While the food quality was decent, everything was overpriced. And here's a personal gripe -- they only serve Pepsi products with a fixed amount of soda per cup. There's a system where you scan your cup to dispense the exact quantity you paid for, so no refills. It felt restrictive, as if they were going out of their way to limit guests. Great for a staycation if you're a local or kid at heart. We went really for the indoor water park for my toddler and he had an amazing time and in his words "so much fun"! From the check in experience, very friendly customer service and desk agents. We were lucky and our room was available a little earlier. They have more than enough carts for your luggage and had aka character meet and greet while we were checking in. We did the water park both days. There's a toddler area, about two-three slides where the big water bucket is, two family rides, one dual ride coaster and about two single slides. They also have a mini wave pool and the pads you can climb and a cool little water basketball area. The 4/5 stars was for the food, breakfast we did their Dunkin donuts in the hotel but could never find any good lunch or dinner spots. There's pizza they served us seemed like it was sitting out all morning. Dippin Dots were good, can't go wrong with some ice cream but they also have an ice cream bar. Rooms were very clean, bracelet keys were kind of annoying but being able to pay everywhere with the bracelets was super convenient. We would bee back! The Great Wolf Lodge recently opened in Naples, Florida, and we decided to check it out for the weekend. While the kids had a great time, it's clear they're still working out some kinks. The staff seemed a bit scattered, and there wasn't a clear flow when we walked in. It took about 20 minutes to check in, and at one point, we were in the middle of purchasing a package for the kids without anyone explaining how it worked. No one mentioned where to get the magic wand, and the staff member helping us simply walked away without saying goodbye--grabbed her purse and left, which felt odd. Everything is pretty much self-service, including luggage etc, which takes away from the experience when paying so much per night. That said, it's a fun place for kids, and there's definitely plenty to keep them entertained. The rooms have a cool, lodge-inspired feel and can accommodate several guests comfortably. The hotel is also very clean. However, I will mention that the bartender by the outside pool was pretty rude--it almost felt like we were bothering her when we asked for anything. While I wouldn't recommend staying for more than a few days--especially for locals--there are day passes available for those looking for a shorter visit. The waterpark is really cool, and there are several places to eat inside, though none offer healthy options, so we ended up Ubering in food. Definitely recommend going as there is no other lodge like this in Florida that can compare with an indoor water park. My friend and I both felt the food was very good for Water park amusement food. Definitely better than most. I am a frequent lodge and hotel traveler to other similar themed parks and this is a great option locally without having to fly or travel more than 90 minutes away. I can't even get to Disney in less than 2.5 hours. Also on a cold rainy Florida day with highs only in the 60s this was an absolute must do if you're wanting to keep the kids happy and entertained while adults are also happy! And don't forget to stop at the gift shop and get your free Wolf Ears!!! Everyone gets ears! We went on a discounted day so keep an eye out for deals. $40 / per person for full day water park. There are also super deals if you're flexible on the dates right now. Suites for almost half off including the water park passes. Sign up for email deal if you're a local! We had a very friendly check in and there was a line of about 15 guests but only waited in about 10 minutes . We also got a Cabana because we had a member of our family with a sprain so we needed guaranteed seating and comfort. Well worth it. There's only about 13 cabanas so if you want a cabana make sure to book it in advance. Cabana and service was better than expected. I scanned the QR code and can either order from phone or call server. We opted to call for server. Jordan was amazing!! She was always there in a few minutes from the point of phone request and would often check in even when we didn't call her. Excellent service and very knowledgeable with the menu and options. Actually easier to speak with her than order online. The food was also better than expected and better than any amusement park food. We had : grilled chicken sandwich cheeseburger pepperoni pizza French fries cheese curds and elephant ear fries! Seriously get the cheese curds elephant ear fries with chocolate sauce ..... outstanding!! There also was bar service . Everything in a can or plastic cup. Good options! The water park was super fun for our kids. Water temp was perfect. All the slides were working Lots of life guards . Literally a life guard about every 20 feet. I felt great wolf had a very good handle on keeping it a safe and was above average. Aside from the water park was non stop entertainment throughout the day with updates on what to do. The late night dance party in front of the fireplace was really cute . All in all this is a must try especially when the weather is not good! Stayed overnight at Great Wolf Lodge because it was a better deal than one day pass to the water park, totally worth it. The room was clean and worked well for my family to have bunk beds (again, for less than a day pass). Of course they get you with parking, whatever, but the water park is worth every penny. I have two 3 year olds and a 1.5 year old and they all had an absolute blast. I can't speak to the restaurants much, we paid $40 flat for a breakfast voucher for my family of 5. Very much worth it, staff was friendly and helpful and the food all tasted good. Otherwise we ate offsite for dinner and brought in leftover Costco pizza for lunch, because resort prices. All the lifeguards were super friendly and interacted very kindly with my kids. Likely will be back! read more

Extremely disappointed with our experience at Great Wolf Lodge, and it was almost entirely due to the lack of customer service. We waited nearly an hour in line just to reach the front desk because they were clearly understaffed. After finally getting to check-in, I explained that I had just lost my physical ID but had a clear photo of it on my phone. Instead of offering any level of understanding or solution, the staff was immediately rude and dismissive. The supervisor on duty, Caitlin, was especially unprofessional. She repeatedly told me their policy is "black and white," that it was not her fault I lost my ID, and that I could not check in under any circumstances without the physical copy. She also stated they could not offer any refund. She was fully prepared to turn me and my three children away with no resolution after I had already paid nearly $1,800. There was no effort to problem-solve, no attempt to escalate, and no willingness to help. I even asked for a higher-level supervisor and she refused to provide that information. Her tone was passive-aggressive, and it was very clear that guest experience was not a priority. What made this even more frustrating is that when I left to search my car and thankfully found my ID, I returned to check in with a different employee. He was kind, professional, and all he did was briefly look at my ID. It was not scanned or verified in any special way, just visually checked, which proves that some level of discretion could have been used from the beginning. Additionally, the property itself did not feel well maintained. There was broken glass from an alcohol bottle outside near the front entrance where families were taking photos, which is completely unacceptable for a place centered around children. I understand policies exist, but there is always room for basic human decency and problem-solving, especially when a family is involved. The way this situation was handled was unacceptable, and it reflects very poorly on management. We will not be returning. read more

I'm very disappointed with the parking there. I paid for parking upon my arrival. Then when I left my bracelet wouldn't let me out of the parking lot so I had to scan the ticket I got when I went in. So then I ended up paying for 2 days. I did not even get a receipt just have proof of the charge in my card. So I had 60 something dollars for parking when it should have been 20 something. The man I talked to when I called was no help. The ace parking website was no help because I did not receive a receipt and it asked me for the info from the receipt. We stayed here for a few nights and it was awesome! We started going to Great Wolf Lodge when my oldest was under 1 and he is 12; we typically go multiple times a year and have been to multiple locations over the years but usually go to Kansas City 2-4 times a year until Covid and 1-2 times a year since. This is a brand new lodge and you can tell. It's beautiful! Everything is clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful! The story time "Legend of Luna" is a must watch; they have it 2 times at 8pm and 9:45pm! They also have 2 dance parties each evening. We stayed in a kid cabin room which has 3 beds in the cabin and a queen of full bed and a pull out sofa couch. It's spacious and comfortable. We ate at most of the restaraunts at the resort and they were good; I plan to do reviews for each restaurant separately. The water park has some really cool water slides! There are 2 family slides which you can go with 2-5 people. We always get wolf passes which include lots of activities. If you plan to use the ropes course or adventure tail be sure to bring close toed shoes and make sure your girls have shorts as both are required. read more

This was our second visit to a GWL. I'm so disappointed that it did not compare to the one in GA, given that it is so much closer to us. The pools were dirty, with algae on the floor. The Dunkin service was horrible. They lost my order and didn't want to speak to customers, so it took half an hour to get it. They did not enforce rules, such as people playing their own music at the outdoor pool or allowing women to wear thong bikinis to a family water park. And most of all, after speaking with, chatting with, and emailing multiple times, they charged me double for parking. Let's start with my reservation of a Suite that sleeps 10-12 people. Upon entering my room turns out "suite" was just two adjoining rooms at the suite price. I paid $700++ for this not so sweet suite. Once in the room we noticed there was no microwave ~ turns out it is a community microwave for the whole floor next to the ice machine. All the amenities in the room, including sheets and pillow were way below standard. If you wanted or needed housekeeping we were told we needed to call for it. Not an automatic amenity. The waterpark was enjoyed by my 5 grandchildren - and that's about it. The rest of the hotel kid amenities were sub par, small and expensive. Day 2 i rented a cabana ~ $200 from 10am - 8pm It was the best part of the stay UNTIL at 3pm the lifeguards whistled everyone out of the pool The reason: It might rain. Not a cloud in the sky, no lighting or thunder, not one of the many golf course lightning alarms going off ~ maybe they just wanted to go home ~ but my cabana day ended at 3pm - i felt like i should be refunded but there it was explained to me that there was a weather clause in case of bad weather, no refund. What bad weather - BTW it never rained that afternoon. The Food: Poor quality, Poor service and stupid expensive. We started to eat off property after the first day. Even Dunkin Donuts (on property) was extremely limited in it's donut choices ~ what a shame. The first night in the room, we all took showers and each one of us came out complaining about the slippery tubs so when the next day when we heard that a toddler had slipped in the tub, struck her head and drown it was no surprise. Such a sad and horrible day for the family as well as all the hotel guests. They should really consider investing into no slip bathtubs before someone else gets hurt. Overall one of the most disappointing hotel experiences i have ever had. I have worked in Hotel and Club hospitality for over 35 years. This was, by far, my worst hotel experience. If you enjoy paying way too much money for a room that is subpar, food that tastes like it's been sitting in the sun by a dumpster, and paying for just simply breathing, this is the place for you! Forget about the discounts you think you will get because they will charge you for 4 different made up service fees and taxes. Parking? you must pay when you leave and be charged again in a grand total! Towels? Bring your own bc they will charge you even if their system isn't working after you've returned them!... ! "Mini Golf" is MINI. Indoor water park is fun, and the chlorine will burn your eyeballs as well as the occasional aroma of mildew that sneaks up on you. Want to call customer service to ask about the rate being incorrect and they'll tell you sorry, that's too bad! I will never give my money to this place again! read more

My second time at Great Wolf Lodge and again another great experience. This place is very fun and great for kids. But this time I am going to talk about the staff. We had a little inconvenience in the elevator this time and the staff went above and beyond to fix our problem. The manager Houston was very eager to help. I was blown away by how nice an accommodating he was. He was so great I had to leave a review. Also at the customer service counter both Jesus and Darryl went above and beyond to make our experience at Great Wolf Lodge one to remember. Thank you guys. I have never been treated so well. There is so much to do here! On our night stay we went to the waterpark only that night,we woke up and had Dunkin' Donuts downstairs which was pretty good,we played at the waterpark the next day and we went to the gift shop,DEFINITELY come here! read more

Best waterpark ever! I would rate it a 1000/10 if I could! Every slide was a blast, even the kiddie ones! We especially loved the 5 person slide Breakaway Bay and the yellow single person slide. The kids absolutely loved it all. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Lifeguards really know their stuff! They don't sit on tall chairs and passively watch the water- they walk back and forth by the pools and look over every inch of water. We felt super safe with them watching over the kids while they swam. The waterpark supervisors were so helpful with answering my questions and providing outstanding customer service. Additionally the entire waterpark was super clean. Definitely will be going back in the near future! read more

Pretty decent waterpark. Slides are good, lines weren't too long, food was ok. But the customer service was not so great and a few employees were rude. There were a lot of nice ones (especially the people at the top of the slides), so my heart goes out to them. They were understaffed, so I could see it being difficult for them though. What was off about the room was that there wasn't a door and it was warm even though the air was on 68 degrees (probably because there was only a small air vent). Even though I had few not great things to say, overall this is a pretty good waterpark and they also have an indoor play area and an arcade, so a lot of entertainment. The water park is very limited for 10 years old kids. We have to pay for adults, even though were were just waiting, and it was very hot! The next day the park opened at 10:00 am but the check out was at 11:00! But they play music loud so you can wake up early and go to the lobby and buy food. Nobody wanted to go to the park again, it was a waste of money, very very expensive for what you get. read more

Thanksgiving meal was a flop. It was that bad. Plus they charged my 13 yr old as an adult, $60 for a plate! When for breakfast the same morning at the same restaurant they charged him as a child. AND they added $40 gratuity 18% without telling us. The receipt says gratuity automatically added for a party of six or more and we had five. The waiter tried lying to us saying "well I told you that it's holiday so we automatically charge tip." No he did not! But here is the kicker, the servers never even served us. The most they did was walk us to our table and show us where the buffet is. That's it. $40 for what? And it's all buffet style meals and self serve for drinks! Think Golden Corral or Ponderosa style buffet. $280 for dinner for our family that sucked. The breakfast at Timber Wolf was horrible as well as the food at the food court. Cafeteria grade food at best. Most of the food was canned even the mac & cheese. They couldn't even make mac & cheese from scratch? It's not even that hard. The mac & cheese look like Chef Boyardee canned mac & cheese, not kidding! I recognize those noodles. Fireside restaurant had a little bit better food but still not worth what they charge. The french fries are obviously frozen fries, the smokehouse burger was decent, but the spinach dip was definitely frozen too. The salsa and chips were canned and out of a bag, completely disappointing. The rooms were nice and spacious, the pool was fun. My kids loved the rope course the best. Bowling is first come first serve so we didn't get to do that. The lines were long and only a few alleys to play on. Just an ok experience. I have experienced better locations in Ohio and California. But I expected better from the Naples location. And why no dress code for the waterpark? It's a family place, women should not be wearing thong bottoms. read more
