Awesome chocolate chips pancakes. Solid eggs and bacon, but the sweets were the star.

I've been coming to Grecian off and on for the past 35 years. I've never been disappointed with the service or food. There's plenty of room with a front room / area of multiple tables and booths along with a more intimate back room - great for family parties. There's also a separate bar area. On this visit I ordered their "Monterey Chicken". This consists of charbroiled chicken breast smothered with barbecue sauce, onions and mushrooms, then topped with bacon, cheese, scallions, and tomatoes ($15.49). Included with a side - I chose green beans. I was really surprised and pleased with my order when it arrived. It looked outstanding and the taste was equally amazing! It was Super Delicious with a 9.5 on my personal tastomatic scale (out of 10). I had a very good meal, and an enjoyable experience. All the food was good tasting, but disappointed that the "salad" that came with the meal (which was $31.99)was literally just lettuce on a plate, with my selection of dressing, if you want other items on your salad you have to pay an extra $1.00 for the salad bar. Also disappointed that the "butter" isn't real butter, but is a cheap whipped margarine. The rolls that were served were just cheap bagged rolls. The prime rib regular cut was tasty and cooked just perfect. The service was average. The restaurant is dated, but appeared to be clean. read more

Ate here recently for the first time when in town for work. I originally thought I might get a gyro here but when we got seated inside, I didn't feel like that would be my best option. At the time of me writing this review which is a couple weeks post meal, I honestly do not remember what I ate, but I feel like if it was awesome, I would have remembered. That brings me to this place being not very memorable. Maybe I'll try it again at some point. read more

Love the food here. Everything that I have had off their menu has been fantastic. Had the oven baked cod and I do not think I have had a better fish and I am not a fish lover-I have ordered this 4 times over. I also have had their prime rib and it is amazing. The comment about it being the best in Chillicothe is the best review...but here's my 2 cents... Took like 15 min for anyone to acknowledge us sitting... thought that was odd. Server was very nice when we got her and food was served quickly. The menu is large...prices reasonable and portions big. My dad had the country fried steak. It said it was good and appeared average. I had the gyro greek salad. It was HUGE and loaded with veggies, meat and feta. The house dressing was outstanding. Could get 2-3 meals out of it. I had never been to Grecian Gardens before but I do know I am going back. They had a great back room for our private party. I loved my salad and prime rib. The staff did a good job of attending to our needs and allowing us some space to celebrate our occasion. Just be warned the parking is a little tight! read more

Probably our favorite place for weekend steak house. The back room on Friday and Saturday nights has a great salad bar and prime rib that is never anything less than perfect every single time!!! My favorite meals here is the salad bar it's affordable and tasty! I usually get their salad with cheese and homemade ranch dressing! They also have sides of large peaches, potato salad and broccoli which is tasty! I love their club style BLT with waffle fries very good! I also love getting their Grecian greek salad with chicken! On fri, sat and sun at 5pm they open their fine dining area where they serve steak. I was unsure about the ribeye steak at first because it's very thin but it's extremely tasty, juicy and flavorful doesn't need seasoning! They also have dessert and I always get their chocolate french silk pie very good!! These are always my go to options! read more

This is actually two restaurants in one location. The front area is like a diner and in the back is more of a casual dinning area. We started with the salad from the salad bar. I ordered the liver and onions with hash browns. The liver was outstanding. My guest had the country fried steak and mashed potatoes with corn. He really enjoyed it. The food is amazing!! It's a 45 min drive for us but so worth it! Love their Greek salad it's the best in the area. Chicken noodle soup was to die for along with the bbq ribs and Greek chicken. Staff is friendly with fast service...we will definitely be back. read more

Another reviewer had it right. Grecian Gardens is the best restaurant in Chillicothe. This is not a positive. The service was fine, but not great. The menu is 2/3rds "classic American country" food, things you'd find at a Cracker Barrel, and that's not a bad thing, per se, but they're not done well. Things are just... fried. Fried to hell and back. The Greek section is lacking, and it's what you'd expect from a campus town Greek fast-food place. Tons of grease, bland salads, just... just no. The serving sizes are massive, but even still things are overpriced. It doesn't help that the decor is a holdover from 60s, which, one more time isn't bad in and of itself, but it's not well maintained, and there's a general feeling of grunge. Dirty floors, that sort of thing. Long story short, I'd avoid coming back. read more

First time here, it's a bit confusing as to where to go. We wanted take out but a drink while we waited. We ordered and they sent us to the bar. I think the bar was confused as they asked us several times what was going on. We had a drink, simple. They came and got us when our to-go order was ready. One person was dairy free but their salad was covered in feta cheese. The lamb chops had good flavor and were tender. The moussaka had decent flavor as well, it was falling apart. This place doesn't even deserve a star. I give the benefit of the doubt to businesses trying to serve during this pandemic, but you have to draw the line somewhere. While waiting for a table, I hear one employee asking another (unmasked) employee whether he got his covid test results back yet. He tells he he has to wait 4-7 days.....yet he was there working UNMASKED! Food was tasteless, one plate was wrong, and server was unattentive. The worst part...the floating object in a water glass. Used to be our favorite restaurant and we came once a week since getting vaccinated for covid. BUT today we were met with yet another member of their staff who said she is not vaccinated and NONE of them wear masks. That makes at least 3 waiters/waitresses and the guy at the register. We decided that was enough.The food is delicious but not good enough to risk getting sick or passing it on to people we know, and we know people who got sick even though they got vaccinated. Management needs to address this. We'll miss the food but can't deal with stupid young people who don't get it. Girl today said she didn't get vaccinated because "she had babies at home" ???!!!! General good service here. The food is good. Not spectacular but good. Their fries are just frozen type but they are wide fries so they are a bit better than others. I do wish they cut their own though. What we've had breakfast wise is standard dinner fare done very well. Went here last Friday on St. Patricks day and I really wish I paid better attention to our servers name but she was phenomenal. Very attentive despite being busy. (Although they were staffed very well for the night) We got drink refills without asking before we were empty which I love and happens so rarely when we go out to eat. Stopped in here to get a bite while traveling through town. A little dated and has a "small town anywhere" kind of feel, so I wasn't sure what to expect when we walked in...It was really quite a nice surprise to find you can't judge a book by the cover. We received a friendly greeting, quick service, food was delicious and generous portions, prices reasonable. The menu has a lot of choices and a "Greek" section. We had Souvlaki, it was tender and flavorful and Prime Rib. The prime rib was without a doubt the thickest, biggest piece of meat I have ever seen served. Cooked to perfection, super yummy!
