I was a bit confused on how to enter Niko's at first. You can enter through Joseph's pizza door. They are connected. I like the breading on the fries. Tzatzaki sauce and pita are good. I'll be keeping an eye out as they include more items on their menu.

This is back door to enter from parking lot - this door will most likely only be unlocked based on Joseph's pizza hours

Brand new - EXCITED to try them on Day 4 for a nice Sunday lunch on March 3rd. Found an empty dark locked establishment at 12:25pm. I'd stay away for a few weeks / months until they get their act together and figure out a way to be open during their stated hours of operation. NOTHING on social media indicating they ran into issues and wouldn't be open Sunday which would have meant I'd NEVER have posted this. COMMUNICATION is key to running a business

Fantastic Greek food in an unexpected location. Wonderful menu, terrific pita bread, and an excellent baklava. I had the gyros plate and loved it. Could easily feed two. I'll be back the next time I'm anywhere near Campton Hills.

My husband and I love to bike in the area and recently discovered Nico's Greek restaurant right off the Great Western Trail. We've gone twice so far and will go back many more times I'm sure! Nico has, hands-down, the best dolmades (rich and lemony), fabulous gyros and desserts (must try the baklava cheesecake) and an authentic Greek salad (ask for "village salad") of any place we've ever been. The owner is helpful and generous and the space is welcoming and festive. This is going to quickly become one of our favorites.

New business with very good selection of Greek food. Big portions and all cooked from scratch. Only disappointment is I wish they opened before noon.

So excited for this place! Tried their spicy feta (YUM & spicy!). The serving size was huge! Loved the potatoes & the gyros. I got pasta salad for the side and was so much I ate it for lunch the next day! So excited they are going to be open for lunch! Agreed on the hard to find, but it's right next Joseph's Pizza. Going to become a quick favorite!

Huge quantities of delicious food. Had Chicago gyro plate and chicken souvlaki plate. Made to order, so be patient.

It was our first time here and my husband and I were thoroughly impressed with the chicken souvlaki and gyros. The food was delicious! I also had the side Greek salad and everything on it was fresh and crispy. Definitely recommend this little hidden gem. The inside has plenty of seating and is nicely decorated.

Combination Chose gyros and lamb souvlaki and side of garden salad.

They have always* struggled with CONSISTENCY issues ever since they started (I've had raw chicken multiple times from them, now it's all burnt/dry), but it's more and more apparent recently. The meats are not only overcooked and EXTREMELY DRY, but the burnt exterior is a genuine *carcinogenic* (fact-check me) issue that leaves a disgusting taste in my mouth that is worse than sand IMO. The gyro meat is more grainy and un-chewable lately. The chicken is overcooked and dry as heck. The rice is undercooked and almost hard. The salads are less fresh, and I notice a distinct difference in the olives lately (more bitter and mushy, YUCK- I love good Kalamata olives, but NO thank you). I genuinely write this in a probably naive attempt to warn Kabobs that they are cutting too many corners that will probably, eventually, bite them. I would be very sad if that happened. I used to love Just Kabobs-- I've had great gyro and chicken and salad, etc, so I KNOW FROM THE PAST that they can do better. The main problem now* is that they are SUPER busy and they probably don't care about quality control because the money is rolling in, but I hope they will reverse course and get better quality ASAP. (PS; at their peak they are capable of 5/5 stars.-- I just feel that the quality has significantly* declined lately and it's sad to see, and waste money on. I couldn't stomach the burnt dry chicken kabobs I got last night and it's going to waste in my trashcan ).

My burger was cooked to perfection (med-rare), and the Greek fries were a welcome addition. My colleague had the pork chops, and there was nothing left on his plate to take home. So craving their boasted chicken we go and was told at ordering no broasted chicken today Tuesday. The waiter said reason sold out THEY THINK because they sold out Monday. First the waiter did not know why (ok poor communication with the staff as to lack of availability) which to me is unacceptable for a restaurant that is a very enjoyable place to dine. If no chicken then the restaurant should place a sign on the door or let the staff know so we as a patron knows in advance. We were highly disappointed today in that respect. So let's talk goodness. We ordered potato skins they were large and filled with yumminess. I loved them so good. Then a fantastic bake French onion soup cup size. Great taste and cheesy but I really liked the breaded onion strips on top that made that soup over the top. My main dish was a grilled Rubin. Darn good with hot French fries. Like I mention a 4to5 star for food service 5 star but not pre warning costumer of a canceled dish after heavy advertising I have rated a 3. Can't wait to go back and enjoy that boasted chicken just hope it's served when on the menu. The restaurant very clean and I like the quickness of the support staff. The manager helps and goes to tables making sure everything is up to par. Maybe I am too harsh on this review but that shows how disappointed I am I was really looking forward to that delicious broasted chicken. A note to Village Squire I am happy you sold out if that was true great for business BUT the 86 communication maybe can be improved a bit more.

Even if I bothered to drive all the way back to argue about it they would've been closed so no recourse. Food tasted like it would've been good but was mostly very dry. I did come an hour before closing but I don't think that means I should've been served mummified food. No sauces were included with my combination plate, don't know if that's nonsense protocol or another oversight as with my missing baba ghanouj. Part of the combination plate includes Spicy Chili Chicken which looks good on their website, red and well seasoned. But what I got was pale, bland and completely devoid of any spiciness. It's almost like they make their food in an unauthentic way to cater to white folks cuz they don't think we can handle the flavor ‍ I've used shawarma marinade packets from Jewel that tasted better than whatever they use. Also their pita bread is pretty low quality, like the difference between Turano and Butternut bread. Funny since that's their namesake. Won't be returning or recommending.
