For me, the Grecian Steakhouse is nostalgic and brings back fond memories of spending special time with mom. I absolutely love Grecian Steakhouse and the food is delicious. I highly suggest the Delmonico steak and have sautéed green bell peppers and onions smothered on top of it! Grecian Steakhouse vegetable beef soup, tasty and a illresistable old fashioned hearty taste. There are daily specials for those on a budget. They also have a catfish platter. After all the years I've lived in Cape I finally made it to the Grecian Steak House. Expectations were not super high but I could not have been more wrong about what I was expecting. Service was wonderful, the soup was hot, the salad was fresh, the dinner rolls were perfectly warmed. Our entrees also were wonderful, we ordered the Gyro sandwich and Country Fried Steak. I've eaten here a few times in my travels usually the food is pretty good, It's cady corner across from the Market WalMart. I get a greek salad and gyro but they were just so so after a while? For some reason the meat did not taste as spicy like it was missing seasoning or something so I found a better place for my gyro's which had way more flavor. I ordered a ribeye steak sandwich and onion rings, to be delivered by DoorDash. I've ordered the ribeye before. And used DoorDash many times. This time the ribeye was was extremely rare, as in red and runny red. I eat medium well or well. The onion rings were burnt. I was unable to eat any of it. The ribeye was $14.00 and onion rings $8.00. I called the restaurant , to let them know the problem. The manager said, gruffly, "call DoorDash",and immediately hung up. No apology. I contacted DoorDash, by internet. They said they could only refund $12.65. With taxes, and fees, I paid $27.00. Needless, to say, I am very displeased with Grecian steak house, as well as Doordash. I will never go to, or get delivery from the restaurant, or utilize doordash again. read more

Great place to have a nice dinner! I had the top sirloin and it was delicious! My wife had the fish and she said it was great! Breading was crispy and the fish flakey! The ambiance was perfect and the background music was just the right volume (unlike other places that you can barely have a conversation). The teriyaki chicken with bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms was terrible. The chicken was severely overcooked,didn't taste like teriyaki at all and the Bell peppers onions and mushrooms were burnt beyond recognition. It tasted like they never clean the griddle. I had dinner at Grecian Steakhouse over the weekend and ordered the gyros with fries. The gyro meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The pita was also very good. The french fries were good, but not unique or exceptional. I found the service to be very attentive and helpful. Every time that my drink glass started to get low, my waitress was filling it up again. Perhaps the best aspect of dining here is the value. I think my meal was maybe $6-7 and it was a good amount of food. This isn't fine dining or gourmet fare, but it is tasty and the service is great. Be sure to ask if there are any special Greek items available -- sometimes one of the owners will make an authentic dish that isn't featured on the menu. Do not eat here. My steak was rotten. It smelled bad and I thought, maybe it's just me. Then I took a bite and spit it out. Completely rotten. My friends smelled it too and quickly agreed. Horrible. I didn't actually visit this establishment but food was ordered for take out. I ordered the gyro combo which came with a gyro and fries. The gyro was "meh," I've had a lot better. The meat seemed dry, although there was a large potion. The French fries were like steak fries which were hardy. We usually love the food and service here. Today both steaks were full of gristle and fat...rolls were burnt. My wife had to ask for one of her sides she had ordered twice. She also ordered her steak well done but was not. I just ate half my steak at most....all they offered was $2 off my steak. We went on Sat. March 15th. The food came out quickly and was really good. The servers were also very friendly. We ordered an appetizer, a meal (grilled chicken with sides) and they have free ice cream for dessert. The atmosphere is casual. This was our go to place after church services, but NEVER will come back again based on today's poor service experience. I recommended as normal, a group of 12 church members to come out to eat at Grecian Steak House in Sikeston, MO. Well a couple of our seafood platters-the cod came out very tough and fried so hard/dry. We inform our waitress in a nice attitude and she had a bad attitude, but I was appreciative that she was able to give us an alternative fish. Well we had to wait on that food, so we go full off our salads and asked for a to-go box to box our food away. She comes out with a couple of the smallest boxes I ever seen, and we informed her we will need more since they was so small. Of course she had another attitude. So I informed the owner/manager of Grecian and he provided me some more boxes. I also informed the manager that the service was poor because of the food/attitude of our waitress. The waitress comes over while I am talking to the manager in a professional way and she said "I don't care where you are from" . I did not feed into her negative attitude, but continued to tell the manager my frustrations with the food/unwilling to provide to-go boxes, and attitude of waitress. The manager goes on to tell me that his business is "in the whole" because he had to remake 3 out of 12 meals over. He also blamed customers in general for ordering food that they never tried, because he is losing money. I said all of my guests today, had no idea the cod was fried so hard where we could not bite into it. The cod was way overcooked and dark dark brown fried crust. He did not seem to care about the experience my family had nor did he address the waitress when she stated "she did not care" out loud while I was talking with the manager. He never apologized. I will NEVER give my money to Grecian Steak House again nor recommend any others to go because the owner/manager and the waitress did not care about all the money we bring in to the business. We will feed our family and friends somewhere else where we can have good service. read more
