I expected a hole in the wall, mom and pop type shop, but the decor and music provided a calming, chill atmosphere. Awful! The chicken kebabs were DRY the tabouli salad lacked any type of wetness. It tastes like straight parsley, onions and a tiny bit of tomato. The dipping sauce taste like straight Greek yogurt, water down. I highly suggest you find another place to try Greek/Mediterranean food. The couple of times I've visited here was for takeout service. They prepared my order correctly and swiftly. The staff has always been very friendly and pleasant to engage conversation with. We arrived at 7:45 (closing time listed as 8:30). When we went to order at 7:50, the staff told us they actually close at 8:20 and asked if that was okay. When I asked if that meant we had to be out by 8:20, they confirmed--because they close "exactly at 8:30." Not wanting to be rushed, we left without ordering. Gave it 2 star solely because of the salad/ dressing which was the only item I had a good flavor and that was palatable. Everything tasted reheated and not even close to authentic. The gyro portions were very small of which 1/2 was overcooked and had absolutely no flavor other than crispy and burnt. Rice was so greasy and the taziki lacked any flavor. The server was nice and very pleasant. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. I ordered the grilled veg platter. The tabboula (on the side) was very fresh. The pita was fine. I was surprised that the veggies were tomatoes, and onions and a sliver of green bell pepper. I was expecting maybe some zucchini or mushrooms... something more. Probably my own fault. This is my go-to no-frills gyro joint when I'm in the Brentwood/Franklin area. Here's what I love most about this place: - Incredibly fast service, even during peak times (like noon, when I came today!) - Quality, fresh ingredients (even when I've come here close to closing, the salad isn't soggy and the gyro meat is heated fresh on the grill.) Nothing is overly oily or dripping with fat, like other places I've been to. - They always give me extra tzatziki on the side when I ask for it - CLEAN restaurant that is good for a casual dine-in (which is huge for me have seen such gross dining rooms at other gyro places in the area.) I only ever order the gyro platter (and sometimes their cheesecake, which is premade and comes frozen but it's strangely some of the best cheesecake I've had.) Today I strayed from my regular dessert and got a a free baklava (which you can also get if you check into the restaurant on Yelp)! It was clearly homemade, not too sweet, and might have to replace my love of their cheesecake! Plentiful parking here and a popular place for folks to grab lunch for folks working in the area (so I tend to always get food to-go around lunch time because seating becomes scarce!) Cheapo food... Do not expect high quality. I ordered the "house made fresh lemonade" and it was watered down powder mix. Need I say more? Okay, the rice was over seasoned to the point of it being unhealthy. The "salad" was not fresh and not dressed. No dressing options or dressing on the side included.
