It's been a while since my last visit Maro's Gyro. I think I've been depriving myself of the Yummy goodness. Services always fast and friendly. And they have a great gyro lunch special for $10. You get your choice of chicken or gyro sandwich combo with french fries or rice or salad and a drink. Additionally, that they have other items on the menu. My order took about 10 minutes. The serving size by far is not skimpy. My gyro had a generous serving of meat and vegetables. The french fries were seasoned well and their tzatziki sauce is very fresh. Food is prepared fresh when you order. So it just takes a few moments. They are conveniently located just down the way from the Kroger grocery store. I really enjoy this place. From entry, it is clean and organized. The menu is clear and concise. The drink machine is clean and orderly. The service is great. The food was made fresh once ordered. They brought the food out to my table when it was ready. I ordered the beef shawarma plate. The cucumber sauce was delicious. With small pieces of cucumber in it. I will continue to come here because of the great value for money they have an option to turn any sandwich into a meal for a small amount more. And their lunch special is also good value. read more

Wow--this place exceeded all of my expectations! The food is beyond amazing--everything I've tried has been absolutely delicious and full of flavor. You can tell they put a lot of care into their dishes. The staff is incredibly friendly and always make me feel welcome from the moment I walk in. The restaurant is clean and has such a warm atmosphere. They always go above and beyond when I ask to customize any menu item. On top of that, the portion sizes are huge--It's always enough for me to split it into two meals, which makes it very much worth the value to me. Gyro salads may seem simple, but can be very hit or miss. Well Maro's is a definite HIT with me. Figured I'd give them a try on my way home and I couldn't be happier. Driving for Uber, a client ordered and "Uber Eats" from this place. They researched it on line and were impressed. The order was ready quickly and smelled great. This prompted me to try it out. FIRST IMPRESSION: Kebab has a small, family like atmosphere but still exudes a type retail type eatery. It is a very nice place and smell's wonderful as you enter through the doors. THE SELECTION: They have an avid selection of Med. food there included a Greek Sampler, Gyro platters and Baklava. THE FOOD: The food is absolutely wonderful. I have been to Greece with my wife and had Gyro's on the side street cafes in Athens and this place reminds me of just that. They shave the Gyro meat off the spit, grill it to a nice texture and serve. I ALWAYS, I repeat, ALWAYS get the Gyro platter because of its combination of flavors with the Taboli (sp?) and the cucumber sauce and rice they give you. My wife always get the Gyro Pita Sandwich & Rice and she loves that too! THE PRICE: This place is priced just right for the food. It is great for families and you will not leave hungry. Decided to try a new place today and discovered a real winnder! I ordered the combo platter which came with chicken and beef, rice, salad and pitas. First off, the portions are huge! A lot of places will load you up on rice or salad with very little meat, but here you just get lots of everything. The chicken was juicy and flavorful and the beef was tender and oh-so savory! The rice and salad were great, but the pitas really stood out with a light texture and nice crisp flaky layer on the outside. Call my wife and asked if she wanted some Moo-goo-gai-pan from Golden China - one of the only places you can get it in Smyrna now. Oooooh this place! Be still my beating heart! How I love and still crave thee! After a long adventurous day in Nashville, my friend found this place near our hotel in Smyrna. I ordered the falafel sandwich with no side and my friend got the chicken sandwich with fries, we also got fountain drinks. This place is truly a gem. It's located in a strip mall near Kroger's (still love that there's a Kroger's there lol) and its a little whole in the wall. However, the food and the service are great. It wasn't filled with customers when we went, but a family sitting at a side table. The lady that took our order was very friendly and quick. What made my heart sing was that she gave me a free side of humus with my sandwich! When it was time to eat, I was so happy! Lol, the sandwich and the sauce they give with it are amazing! Lamb seasoned perfectly for my taste- Love that they stuff this pocket type pita instead of the folded kind that makes an insane mess. Service was very good- Kind lady taking orders.. It just seems to take FOREVER to get your food- so don't come in here extremely hungry. (i was about to chew my arm off) I believe both times we waited about 10 minutes to get our food after ordering- which isn't bad, especially since they make everything fresh to order. That is so awesome since I only eat meat that has had the blood drained out before processing so to help avoid disease/viruses. It was a good value and unique in that it was a stuffed rather than folded pita, but I could not tell what I was eating.
