    chicken plate

I ordered to-go and the plate was LOADED with chicken which I loved. The only thing I did not love was after the first bite of the chicken, it was not seasoned at all. Luckily I could season it myself at home, but I hope they add more seasoning to the chicken. The rice was good, the salad did not have enough lettuce, only cucumbers and lots of tomatoes. The pita bread was warm, but very hard so I didn't even get to eat it/enjoy it and its my favorite part of the dish.

I stopped by here on my way home two days in a row. There is plenty of parking and it's easy to get in and out which is always a plus for me. Seating is ample and the service is fast and friendly. I ordered the mix gyro wrap with fries and no soda. On Tuesday around 5pm it was pretty slow but on my most recent visit Thursday at 5pm there was a steady flow of customers who seemed to be regulars. I had five people ahead of me in line and I was out in under ten minutes. Portions are large and fresh. Well worth the stop if you're looking for a pretty basic but solid gyro. I'll go again.

The decision today was gyros, burgers, or pizza. The choice is obvious. We were close by so decided to try Kouzina's. The place is conveniently located on the corner of a retail plaza with adequate parking. We both ordered the gyro combo (see pic) and shared a piece of baklava. I wish I would have removed the wrapper from the gyro so you could see how much meat was in it. It was packed to the limit. The baklava was good but not great. The staff wasn't rude but not friendly either.

I love trying new restaurants and Tony and I noticed this new Restaurant a few weeks ago, and we thought "Why NOT"...so we wanted to try them out. When I went inside to get the food to go, I explained to the two men behind the counter it was my first visit to their new establishment. I found out they were serving Greek Food so I explained I don't order Greek Food very often so I wasn't sure what to order and asked for suggestions. I ended up ordering their version of a Philly Sub but in a Gyro wrap served with two salads and then a Combo plate with 2 salads, rice and Lamb gyro..so Tony and I could split them. It was smelled very good. I placed our order to go so we could go home and enjoy and share. He added Cucumber Sauce on the side so we could have extra. Well we enjoyed the food. I loved the salads and I loved the lamb. It was so tender! The cucumber sauce was very good and sort of thick like yogurt/ feta mixture. I loved it !!! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!! If you get a chance to go here, its a must !! I will be honest I am not an expert on Greek Food but it was good to me!

Both of our meals were bland. Kind of grossed me out. Cisco food? Even the tzatziki sauce was bland.

They have plenty of seating. I should also mention that their menu is so good it left me torn on what to order. Despite the crowd and influx of orders, I thought the service was fast. The team works like sandwich ninjas, slicing meat and slathering spread, which was fun to watch. I ordered 'The Veggie,' while my husband got 'La Paradiso.' The focaccia tasted extremely fresh: crusty on the outside with a prominent flavor of EVOO, and soft on the inside. A very well-rested dough, I'd assume! As delicious as the bread was, the eggplant, stracciatella, and pistachio cream were out of this world. Oh my god, just heavenly! The size is ginormous; I split it into lunch and dinner. Considering the quality and sourcing of these ingredients, along with the fact that it covered two meals for me, I felt these sandwiches were quite economical. I have a long way to go before I try all their sandwiches

I ordered the la Paradiso, that had some generous addition of mortadella, stracciatella, arugula and this it was a feast. I felt it was reasonably priced. The service is quite quick although they slice the meat and assemble the sandwich only upon the order.

Other sides, including chips, are available, as well as tacos, burritos, and an extensive breakfast selection (available round the clock). Everyone really enjoyed their selections. VERY affordable. Let me take my shoes off before i start (arabic habits) :…read more Apparently this place is TikTok famous. I wouldn't know, I remain a proud TikTok virgin. But I have dated enough white school teachers who "love ethnic food" to hear about this place roughly 86 times, so eventually I had to pull up and investigate. And of course i had to trust the gals the eat taco bell at 2 am post 12 shots. Let's start with the "chicken shawarma," which is ,with respect: about five miles away from an actual shawarma. This is not a shawarma. This is a chicken sandwich that identifies as shawarma. The chicken is okay but a little dry, the flavor is playing hide and seek, and by the time you get home the sandwich has the structural stability of wet cardboard. Also, the vegetables are cut like someone lost a bet and had to chop them blindfolded. Overall? Fine. Would I order it again? Probably not. But given Nashville's current shawarma economy, I understand why some folks are acting like they discovered Atlantis. Personally, I daydream about real shawarma the way people daydream about winning the lottery, or the way poets dream about lost love (in my case that one girl in 8th grade) I also tried the mixed plate (rice, lentil soup, and three meats: kabab, chicken, and beef tikka): Rice: solid. Honest work. Lentil soup: extremely shy. Needs seasoning, confidence, and maybe therapy. Also a bit oily. Chicken: dry enough to file paper work with. Beef tikka: actually pretty good, respect where respect is due. Kabab: could use more garlic, onion, and emotional support. Didn't see a health inspection score posted, and the place could definitely level up on the cleanliness side, nothing terrifying, just not sparkling either. The bald uncle behind the counter is a little dismissive and chaotic, but the man looks like he has personally witnessed several historical events, so I'm choosing compassion. They do carry a wide variety of Arabic groceries and halal raw meats (which I personally can't buy because I'm allergic, tragic and traumatic storyline), and honestly they should give discounts to school teachers because those are the main people marketing this place harder than the actual owners. Not terrible, not life changing. If this is your first shawarma, you'll be impressed. If you grew up eating shawarma, you'll drive home in silence thinking, "we as a society can do better." And also need to be more politically correct naming foods but alas.

Still amazing. Bigger seating area in back - great chicken - wife and split one and are always…read moredelighted! Go with all vegi's and garlic sauce. Mmmm
