It felt different this time, there was spit on the window next to our booth, the window was dirtier than usual, The wine glasses hanging above the counter were very dusty, while waiting 20 minutes for our food, I asked if there were new owners but I was told no. The food, my gyros sandwich didn't taste right, burnt on the edges of the meat, fresh frozen I guess.. Very tiny pieces of tomato and Zero onions, I was told that the owner was trying to save money. They offered to replace the sandwich but I was hungry and had ate half already, I politely refused (not wanting to wait another long 20 minutes. We are never going back. read more

Loved this Greek restaurant. The waitress was wonderful and so helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. Overall 4.5. Just good Greek food. I ordered take out. This is a very casual place in a strip mall with some outdoor seating (in the shade). Very friendly and helpful staff. Simple decor but what I liked best was the Greek music playing in the background- nice touch, nice ambiance. My baseline for Greek food is Greek town in Chicago. Ordered two items: chicken kabob and gryo sandwich. Both meals came with soup, rice or fries and a small salad. Everything was cooked fresh. The chicken was fantastic - had some nice char marks but was still tender and not dried out. The gyro could have had a little more fire on it but this is the real deal. Served with tomatoes and onions which is standard (thank you) and the tomatoes actually tasted like tomatoes! The tzatziki sauce- good and what I loved is the amount of dill they use. Could use a hint more of garlic though (not too much more!). What really pleased me was the fries! They call them Greek fries but they were steak fries and those are hard to find. Thick with a nice crisp on the outside. So good!!! Perfect for dipping in the tzatziki sauce. A little over salted though- next time I'll ask they do not salt so I can do so to preference. My only negative was the soup. They advertise it as chicken lemon and I was hoping for some version of the classic Avgolemeno (if you know, you know). Unfortunately this wasn't anything close to Avgolemeno nor chicken lemon. No pieces of chicken and a spice I didn't not recognize. Zero lemon flavor. Wasn't a fan but others might like. If the owner is Greek- please consider the classic recipe! Happy to find this place. Prices were ok but you got generous portions and that made me feel that I received value for the price. Oh, and they have a nice collection of Greek wines too. I recommend this place. I'm looking forward to exploring the menu ! Had been craving greek salad so my boyfriend and I stopped by. Safe to say that this is our new favorite place! The portions are huge and everything is very well priced. I got the greek salad and added gyro for only $3 extra, and my boyfriend got the surf and turf kebab entree. We also went a second time the week after. I got the same and he tried the moussaka and loved it! Both his entrees came with a choice of lemon chicken or lentil soup, as well as greek salad for starters. My salad came with a pita basket and tzatziki which I always love. We have yet to try the baklava since they had run out when we went. Ordered takeout for lunch and got the Gyro Sandwich ($12) w/ "extra tzatziki" sauce for $0.75. My first complaint is that it should've came with some tzatziki sauce already, but I guess not. Second complaint is that the gyro meat is pretty salty.. definitely needed the extra tzatziki sauce. Nonetheless, they are very generous in the amount of meat given. I've eaten at Greek Corner many times over the years and the food is consistently good and portions are generous. The Lamb Shank is delicious and my husband and I plan on having that on Easter this year. Service is friendly and efficient. When we went to pay, we mentioned the "error" on the receipt and she corrected the charge to $12.75 like the menu states. It seemed like they tried to pull a fast one because she didn't really react. Someone on here mentioned the pita wraps missing from the menu, but there are two different menus (lunch/dinner). I used Door Dash and ordered a Village Salad with gyro meat. I received an email that told me they were out of the Village Salad and would replace it with a Greek Salad and refunded me the difference. This would not have been a big deal if I had received a true Greek Salad. No cucumbers, no red onions, 2 small Kalamata olives and 1 pepperoncini, Basically lettuce, tomato and Feta. Love it here. BIGGEST GYRO PITA SANDWICH IN SAN DIEGO. The sandwich is a monster. It's packed with tons of meat, chunky tomatoes and onions. The Gyro meat is always juicy. My husband and I just ordered 3 Greek Salads from here. Only 1 one was delivered and it is the most disgusting salad I have ever seen. It has all skin and bone, and a tiny bit of chicken meat. I am so disappointed as we used to love this place and have come to eat here many times. I called the restaurant first to speak to a manager to see if there was anything he would do prior to writing this review. He basically told me that is how the lunch salads come. They take the thigh and leg meat off the bone. I told him, it is mostly skin and has bone in my salad. He said that is how they come. I said with skin and bone? He said yes. I also told him we were only sent one salad. He could care less. I am so disappointed in this place and will never order from here again. Excellent service, excellent food, and great ambiance for a big group! The Greek cappuccino was a delight, and I highly recommend the beef skewers. The food did take a little while to prepare, so I suggest getting some apps like hummus to keep the hangry from creeping out. Found this place while looking for something for lunch and I was not disappointed! I had their lunch special which had chicken and mixture of meat and it was a good deal! The chicken and mixture of meat (beef/ lamb) were delicious but the beef was a bit salty for my taste. The rice was okay. I had a side salad and it was made to perfection. We were so gratified to learn that this wonderful little eatery is open again after having been closed for a couple of years, now. We were so disappointed when it closed, believing that it was yet another victim of the pandemic, like so many other small restaurants which just couldn't make it with the slowdown in business. It's so difficult to find really good restaurants in this area, surprisingly, so it was a major loss. Happily, it seems to be back in action, and just as good as ever! The food here is, in a word, spectacular: I've never had a bad, or even mediocre meal here. Flavorful, fresh, perfectly cooked, generous portions, and a great selection of authentic Greek dishes. Check out the flaming cheese for a real treat! The service is great, but you may have to wait just a bit because it's often quite busy, but definitely worth it. Prices are also very reasonable; you can have a good lunch with fresh, unprocessed food for the (ridiculous) price of a Subway sandwich these days, and support a small business in the community, which is always preferable. Amazing food, we couldn't stop eating it! We got the gyro plate which is a huge amount of food, a "quesadilla" child's plate, and a pita basket. Great service, diner feel, quaint small-town experience. Prices seemed a little high but I have to say it was worth it because of the portions. Also not a fan of styrofoam for to-go containers for the environment. All that said, honestly the best Greek food I've had in a while and they don't use msg or nutritional yeast for enhanced flavor. Rice is a tad on the saltier side but everything together is the perfect combination of flavors and textures. Server and cook were both super nice. Friendly place. Great little neighborhood Greek restaurant. I enjoy their Kabob plates which come with 1 kabob, rice, pita, tzatziki, greek salad and a soup for $17 (can do 2 kabobs for $20). For soup, you can get lentil or chicken soup. The meat is good, rice has good flavor and the salad is great. For 2 people, you're looking at about $45 + tip without beverages, appetizers etc. for take out. I wish they had a lunch special of some sort as I'd add them in my rotation but I'll probably be back when craving Greek! read more

the food was delicious but our server was foul. i went out with my grandparents tonight and we were not pleased with jasmine. she was very rude from the beginning just coming to grab our order. no greeting, not a smile, very monotone. she comes up at the end of our meal and everyone was chatting finishing our drinks to set the check down. we're still chatting and she comes over to check on us we haven't put the card down yet. she interrupts a conversation to very rudely ask if we're using tap to pay. we're still chatting and she throws the check back on the table and walks away. she proceeds to go and talk about us right behind the counter! if you're going to talk about a customer at least have the decency to go into the back of house. she saw that i heard her then switched up in an instant and began being nice. i understand food service isn't the greatest but at least pretend you enjoy your job. read more

Super good gyro sandwich, tons of meat and good price way better than lulu grill or kebab shop. However the restaurant could use a deep cleaning, went for lunch a couple of days ago and all the tables were sticky and you could tell no one ever cleans them, the window sills were covered in dust, dirt, dead bugs, the ground was covered in dirt not swept or mopped. Not really a pleasant thing to look at when you are trying to enjoy your great lunch. The food was great, but the service and ambience could use some refreshing. read more
