This is an excellent place! My navigation wasn't working well and I was trying to get there to pick up take-out dinners before they closed, so I called them and they gave me directions and said not to worry that I may be late. But, in addition to showing compassion, the staff was friendly when I arrived and the food was excellent! We got Greek plates (grilled chicken kabobs) and a shrimp plate. I tried this spot for the first time and overall, it wasn't bad. I ordered the lentil soup, a shrimp wrap, and a veggie wrap. The lentil soup was a bit too oily for my taste. The shrimp wrap was my favorite--honestly, I might ask for extra shrimp next time, but for the price it was still good. The veggie wrap was well-packed with plenty of fresh vegetables. We've gotten takeout/delivery from here several times and have always have enjoyed the meals. Prompt service and food looks presentable upon arrival each time. I'm a chicken shawarma and beef kabobs kinda gal. The Greek salad and pita are fresh & Dolmas good. Avgolemono is one of my favorite Mediterranean soups! Particularly because of the lemon. We arrived around 2 PM on a Friday of a 3 day weekend. It was relatively quiet, but every single staff member was warm and friendly. The murals inside are pretty. The cashier was friendly and helpful. And another staff member from the kitchen walked through and was very sweet too. The meals were delicious and plentiful. We both got shrimp kebabs. We were celebrating a birthday and had baklava for dessert, which was really yummy too. Very good experience overall. Prices are really going up everywhere so it was kind of expensive considering there was no alcohol involved but we had a really nice outing nonetheless. Highly recommend this restaurant. Probably our favorite Greek/Middle Eastern restaurant in the area. The dolmas and eggplant dip (not baba ganoush!) were delicious. The Chicken Shawarma is the Wife's favorite version of it. My falafels could have been a little crispier, but all in all they were good and filling. The pita sandwich can be a little messy to eat, but that is what napkins are for. For some reason, North County has very few Greek restaurants. And that's a shame because Greek food is amazing. This is a fast casual restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring you your food. There is plenty of seating inside but they also do a rocking takeout business. It's located in a mini-mall with plenty of free parking. The interior is nicely-decorated with walls painted like Santorini. The food is cooked to order and you can absolutely taste the freshness. The spanakopita appetizer gets you four triangles. Unfortunately, it was on the greasy side. The entrees are terrific and you get a ton of food. There are plenty of protein choices: gyros (shaved thin and outstanding), chicken souvlaki (a tad dry but very flavorful), shrimp (juicy and delicious), etc. The yellow rice is very nice and the side Greek salad is refreshing. You also get four fresh pita triangles that are super soft and excellent. Keep this place in mind for some freshly-cooked, solid Greek food. read more

Visiting the San Marcos area today, and we decided to come give this place a try. They have some seating outside as well as inside. They have a plexi glass as a wall to the kitchen, so you can see them prepping the dishes as well as the different proteins cooking, which is a nice feature. They have all their dishes on 2 small tvs that they offer as well as menus at the counter. I ordered their chicken shawarma dish. Came out quickly. It was a good amount of food that comes with the plate. Chicken chunks were flavorful and moist. Not dry at all. Some thin pieces were well grilled which made them crunchy, which added some texture. Salad that comes with it was fresh. Light, and tasted good. The 4 little peices of bread was also really good. Light and fluffy. Served as a nice vehicle to place the chicken and rice on it. Found this place while I was waiting in line at Target to return a sweater. I placed a door dash pick up order. Location is easy to find. Interior was clean and organized. It was fairly busy with a weekday lunch crowd. Service was prompt, professional and courteous. Food was ready and waiting. Well packaged and included utensils and plenty of napkins. Lentil soup was well spiced and delicious. Creamy tomato base full of lentils and vegetables. A warming treat on an overcast day. Island fries with chicken were great too. Huge portion and they honored my request to substitute chicken in place of gyro meat. Plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. Tzatziki dressing was awesome. Rich with garlic and dill and cucumber. Legit Greek food. This is not a fancy place - it's tucked away and seems to serve the industrial buildings that surround it. But no joke, this was good food. Appears to be more take-out oriented but they have indoor and outdoor tables. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. They have it but it's summer and too hot to try today. I'll add to my review once I do (hope it's as good as everything else!). Was in the mood for fast inexpensive Mediterranean food that was close by and open so decided to give them a try. I made a to go order of 4 items and they advised it would be 25 minutes. The guy that took my order was friendly and helpful. I arrived at the strip mall, which has many other businesses in it, and a wide range of odd places, that don't really go together in my opinion. I arrive in 25 minutes and my food was ready, packaged nicely, and in multiple bags instead of trying to squeeze it all in to 1 plastic bag. The guy who took my order also rang me up and I was out the door in less than a minute. He was polite, friendly, and expeditious. I was hungry so I ordered the Spanakopita, Feta Fries, Santorini Salad with Chicken, and the Grilled Chicken Souvlaki plate. Spanakopita - was good, and some of the largest pieces I have ever seen. They were packed with baked spinach. It was not as good as other places, but not bad, just a different flavor than I am used to. The Feta Fries were good solid tasty fries. Could have used a little more feta but they tasted great, nice and crispy. The Santorini Salad with Chicken is pretty good, but the dinner plate came with a side salad that was bigger than expected, so I really should not have ordered this very large salad too. The Grilled Chicken Souvlaki plate is a large portion. The pita's are tasty and just lite pita's everywhere else, no surprise. The rice was good, tasty, nothing special. The side salad was good and a decent size portion. The chicken was good, and delicious, just a tad dry for my taste but still good and would order again. I got a Greek salad with a side of chicken. The Greek salad was pretty standard - feta, olives, cucumber, tomatoes, and onion. Unlike the salads I had in Greece last summer, it also had a bunch of romaine filler. Although, I appreciate that all the greenery was very fresh, not at all wilted, and very generous! The chicken was all white meat, which I requested. Unsurprisingly, it's was pretty dry, but I expected as much. As far as a quick lunch, Grubhub came pretty quick and it was way healthier than a protein bar or coffee for lunch. Best falafel around! Been coming here for years and the quality is always good. The salads, the hummus, the spanakopita--always terrific. Places like Luna Grill (falafel shouldn't be out of boxed mash-potato mix) and Nectarine Grove (just as bland) don't make falafel like this. So good! And the hummus too!
