Great wine, delicious charcuterie and friendly service. They have some unique wines you wouldn't find elsewhere. I just went with what was recommended and liked everything I had. They had a rouge that was peppery and was amazing. Loved their chilled reds. The inside is very small with a couple tables, but you can sit out back in the communal space too.

What a gem this place is. From the hand selected unique varietals and international blends.... To the carefully curated crudite and tapas... to the non pretentious welcoming atmosphere and affordable prices.... You just can't go wrong with Bueno. Brian is an awesome host and definitely knows how to make a memorable experience. The service is spot on! Come support your local O-side shops! This one is great!

Cutest little wine bar. Grab a taco from shoots and head over for a glass and cute little local shopping goods.

The ambiance was incredibly warm, beachy, and romantic- perfect for a date night or girl's night. A truly beautiful space with an equally impressive menu! The entire night was filled with good bites only! To break it down: Seasonal Spritz: This was a sparkling wine with ginger, white peach, and citrus. So bright and refreshing! Honestly, my ideal spritz. Crudo: Highly recommend this starter! It featured thick cuts of yellowtail, watermelon, cucumber, ginger, thai chili, and thai basil. Really clean and fresh. I was surprised by the amount of fish we got! Local Catch: Another winner. This was roasted yellowtail with summer bean, tomato ragout, and Jimmy Nardello peppers. Absolutely no notes! Rigatoni: Our standout dish of the night! It featured summer squash, saffron butter squash blossoms, blistered tomatoes, and parmesan. I'm not usually a fan of cream based pastas, but this one blew me away. The veggies really brightened things up and I felt like I could eat plates and plates of this. If you get one thing, please let it be this! Since we mentioned in the res that we were celebrating, they brought out complementary champagne at the start of the meal. Loved that they treated us to cheeky little drinks- we're not the biggest fan of sweets!

The restaurant has a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating. The bar has a super chill vibe. The bar tender and wait staff is super friendly. They are all very knowledgeable about the wide selection of wines. The bar specializes in natural wines. With a huge variety of reds and whites. On top of that there is a small but varied and delicious menu of foods that goes from small snacks to more substantial pastas and fish. We tried the crisp, the rigatoni and the local catch. The crudo was light and fresh and the passion fruit oil was amazing and unique. The rigatoni was buttery and flavorful but surprisingly light. The local catch is light but substantial enough to complete the meal. The tomato sauce was delicate and sweet. Use the bread and butter to soak up the sauces or enjoy it on its own. Overall, the little victory wine bar is worth a stop!

We went for some drinks and something to eat after an event and it was the perfect place to wind down, listen to some great music and just enjoy yourself and your company. We had the charcuterie board with meat and it was perfect. There were a lot of different meats and cheeses I thoroughly enjoyed and a perfect accompaniment to the drinks, which was my main focus. I had the Exotica '58 Tiki and my gf had the Midnight Driver. Both were delicious and potent and looked incredible (see pic). We will definitely be back here but next time we might bring some folks to join the vibe... or maybe not. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the host (I forgot his name, but it starts with a V?). Super friendly and helped all of us feel at home; Would occasionally check-in to make sure our needs were taken care of too. Sometimes you walk into bars and deal with judgy/pretentious people or service workers and we didn't get that impression at all from any of the staff here. My girlies and I ended up sitting in the outside area, which honestly was a great choice due to the humid weather AND we got a great view of the beach sunset. It's a bit stuffy (when it's hot), but still nice inside the establishment. We also ordered some drinks and tiramisu to make the most of our time there. Overall, Sound By The Sea is a great spot to catch-up and unwind during one of those longer summer nights (cue the Summer Nights song by Lil Rob lol). I hope you also enjoy the same fun experience my friends and I shared yesterday. Thank you. :-)

Bottlecraft has several locations, but we have both agreed that the Oceanside location is our favorite. Bottlecraft is a bottle shop and tasting room - This means that you can taste a variety of beers, which taps continuously rotating - then pick up cans of your faves.. or try brand new cans to bring home. We love to grab a spot at the bar {typically to watch whatever sporting event is on TV}, or on the back outdoor patio space if we come with a group. When seated at the bar area, you can also chat with the amazing beertenders and ask for their recommendations if you're unsure what to try {I will always recommend a good Hazy or Double IPA}. The team here is always on point - Providing fantastic service as well as friendly conversation while you enjoy your brews! Not a beer drinker?! Hard Kombucha, Cider, Wine and Non-Alcoholic options are available - There is something for everyone! While enjoying your brews, if hunger hits, visit Shootz Fish & Beer - This is a stellar food spot tucked in the corner as you enter the shop. Do not skip out on the Potato Taco! It's the kind of drink that keeps me coming back, especially paired with one of their delicious pizzas. The pizzas are on the smaller side--definitely shareable--but let's be honest...you may not want to. Hangar 76 has become one of my favorite places in Oceanside. Fittingly, it's housed in what used to be an airplane hangar, giving it a unique character that you won't find anywhere else. The indoor and outdoor spaces are both beautifully designed, and they've done an incredible job transforming the patio with cozy seating, including large couches that make it easy to relax and stay awhile. It's also dog-friendly, which is always a huge plus. One of my favorite things is how easy it is for groups. Everyone orders right from their phone and pays for their own meal, so there's never any awkward check-splitting at the end. They're always hosting fun events too, from line dancing and comedy nights to karaoke, so there's usually something happening. Since it's a little farther inland, parking is generally much easier than along the coast, and the prices are very reasonable. Beautiful space, great atmosphere, fun events, delicious food and wine, and easy parking--Hangar 76 is absolutely worth a visit and is one of Oceanside's hidden gems. Five stars!

I chose outside in the shade and it was quiet, relaxed, and really comfortable. I ordered the Dirty Bird and it was SO good. The chicken was crispy outside, juicy inside, not oily or dry. The coleslaw was fresh and crunchy, the fries were nicely seasoned, and it was a good amount of food. They happily put my pickles and hot honey on the side too. I asked for ginger ale and they offered ginger beer instead, which was a pleasant little surprise! The menu has a ton to choose from. My husband found this place and was interested because of the live music and it being a jazz place. We ubered there which seemed smart because it's street parking and seemed quite limited. There's a $5 cover on Fridays and Saturdays (I think they have live music both days) and we did not have a reservation. I think if you have a reservation you can get a table in their back area. We were up front with the band. It's a pretty small place, maybe about 5 or 6 high top tables in the front, the bar toward the back, and that back room which we didn't look in. We cozied up until someone left a high top and then hung out there. We ordered some drinks that were specials for the night and some that were regularly on the menu. We had a great time! Drinks were good, I think also reasonably priced. Music went from 7pm to 10pm and we got there around 7:30 and it was good and busy! This definitely feels like a family joint, their mascot is their little chihuahua Wishbone and I love that so much. Owners were fun, kept things going while the band was on break, just overall a really good time. I'm not much of a drinker so I can't speak to the types of liquor, but I definitely was feeling my drinks and couldn't finish my 3rd. If we lived here I think this would become a regular spot for us. That said, I was a little disappointed to find out that even with a reserved table, there's a $30 minimum if you want to stay for the jazz, and a $25 minimum for the comedy. I understand businesses have minimums, but personally, I prefer places where I can come in, relax, listen to the music, and decide what I want to spend without feeling pressured--especially when I'm experiencing a band or comedian for the first time and don't know what to expect. The waitress was okay, although there were a few assumptions made during my visit that I didn't feel were appropriate. I'm glad I checked it out and experienced it for myself. It just probably isn't somewhere I'll return to. I'm looking for more of a laid-back, come-as-you-are kind of spot where I can enjoy the entertainment without feeling obligated to meet a spending minimum. Nothing ventured, nothing gained! At least now I know.
