OMG Fantastic Peruvian Food!!! I stopped in for a quick bite and loved it - I put in a 2d order to go! They opened in July 2020 so are still adding to the space & seating arrangements but have 4-top tables, and a streamlined but truly authentic and delicious menu - I had a chicken empanada (wonderful chicken filling - didn't need any sauce), steak skewers (prime steak chunks perfectly grilled in Peruvian spices and chimichiri drizzle) with rice (with parsley, lime? and Peruvian corn - a bit like hominy) and pinto beans (and wow those are comfort food when they are stewed down - such great flavor), plus a refreshing drink made from purple maize corn. He is still maturing the menu, but I am *really* excited to find this place - put it on your list!!! They use real Peruvian spices, so you get the real deal with the peppers and sauces -- "5-star YUM!" Happy to find I can eat like I am in Peru, if I can't travel there right now :) read more

Chicken skewers were great, moist and tender, very flavorful. The empanadas were also good, though they look a bit too greasy. The chimichurri sauce, I could buy by the gallon!! I has never had Peruvian food before coming to Fino Sur. Our family came and got papa rellena for an appetizer which is a savory potato ball with meat inside. We also got the Steak and Chicken Anticuchos (skewers) and our favorite was the Lomo saldado (steak with onions, tomatoes, peppers on French fries). Everything came with special Peruvian sauces and the owner was SO accommodating and knowledgeable about the history of the food. I was looking for a light lunch, but this ended up being enough food to split a light lunch with my husband! I also ordered all three sauces the offered except I didn't get any of them with my order, which was very disappointing. The best thing I can say is that the fries were great. The gyros were very disappointing. It really didn't taste like a gyros do to lack of proper seasoning. Furthermore it appears that it was filled with shredded beef with little taste of lamb or seasoning.The tzatziki lacked any flavor and was totally bland. Furthermore, it was very pricy. The two traditional gyros with two orders of fries, with us just drinking water was $38.00. Plus, there was absolutely no atmosphere.
