This place is a joke. I ordered a large french fry and large onion ring the tiny bags were only 3/4 full??? The onion rings were $6 for a tiny bag. and the fries were $5 for same size bag. Love love love!! Ever since I was a little girl I looked forward to visiting my grandma in Fallbrook i'm going to go get zucchini fries a Greek style chicken!!! To this day I still love going to go get my zucchini fries they are always so yummy and the service is always spot on. I love the new soda machine that they have or you can pick your own flavors that's pretty cool in an awesome upgrade!! I was just there again this weekend and I enjoyed a delicious 1/4 beef burger ketchup only and it hit the spot! Paired with my delicious order of zucchini fries and a side of ranch with an orange vanilla Coke oh Em Gee!! My husband really enjoyed it, my mom always enjoys it and my grandma loves everything about this restaurant. Friendly owner, enjoyable Greek cuisine. The interior is enjoyable and it's nice to enjoy a meal in. The drive thru option is convenient for food in the go. Although the prices for some items seem a bit more expensive than the typical McDonalds fast food, it's worth it. For those complaining-- it's Fallbrook, go to a big town for actual options and high dining food. So when you order a plate, you still have to pay extra (.40 cents I believe) for the single serving of tzatziki sauce (SMALL container) unless you order the gyro plate, makes no sense. When you order the fried zucchini, you also have to pay extra for ranch, again SMALL container.... Ok then. Also the pita bread is a very small serving size. Keep in mind this is a drive thru/order at the counter/carry your own tray type of joint, yet they ask for tips on the credit card tablet. To me this is odd/little excessive. I understand a tip jar. I don't know if this place is under new management or what happened but it's not the same place it used to be years ago. Too bad. But... overwhelmed with a ton of red onion (no big deal, pick 'em off). - The spicy tahini sauce made the gyro sandwich a million times better. - Quick service. Stick to chicken. The chicken can be dry sometimes but it's very flavorful. Salads are okay but their salad dressing is very good which makes up for the mediocre lettuce mix. Greek Style Chicken is inside an old Del Taco building, so that should give you a good idea how the business is run: it's more fast food-y than sit-down dining, but it's clean, well lit, and usually pretty quiet. The food is very good - lots of classic Greek choices like gyros, chicken and beef kabobs, pita bread, falafel, spanakopitas, and hummus. If Greek's not really your thing, though, they also have a good selection of classics like burgers, tuna melts, club sandwiches, and barbecue ribs. And for less-adventurous kids, there's a special menu with corn dogs, chicken nuggets, and grilled cheese. If you've never tried Greek food, though, I really recommend trying at least something. The flavors are wonderful and the restaurant's tzatziki sauce (made of yogurt and cucmber) is cool and refreshing. Oh, and the gyro meat - thinly sliced and seasoned perfectly. So tender you don't need a knife (or even a fork, really!). There's a drive-thru but it's usually best to walk in, order, and take a seat. Just because it looks like a drive-thru doesn't mean it's "fast" food. ^_~ Cons: As I mentioned, the food's not prepared super quickly (but hey, you know it's fresh and cooked just for you). Also, they tend to be a bit heavy-handed with the salt (especially on the gyro meat). Credit cards: They're accepted but there may be a minimum purchase price. (Over the years it's varied from $15 to $20 but is currently free, I THINK.) So to recap: The place doesn't look fussy - it's very simple - but if you're looking for something different with great taste that's fresh and made to order, try Greek Style Chicken. I lived in Greece for five years, so I'm pretty familiar with the food. Halfway during my salad, I found a red hair wrapped around my lettuce. (I have black hair.) I didn't want to make a big deal out of it because there were other customers around me so went to the counter and I whispered "I just wanted you to know, there's a hair in my salad." She didn't hear so rudely took off her headphones and said, "WHAT!"
