Great company. Cleaned my carpets like new. Very professional and fast. Great deal. A+++++. Update: 2 months later the stains are back. I don't know if the stains are permanent or if the machine was not that good. they looked great for a while but they started to look dingy after 2 months. we don't wear shoes in the house but we do have a little Schnauzer. i am wondering if he's the messy one. I am not blaming them for a bad job cuz' it looked great for a few months. But it is kinda expensive to do a small room when I could probably just put new carpet and padding for the same price. just a thought. read more

The worst ever. Their deep clean that was $150 not including the two workers tips was not deep as far as I was concerned. Most importantly the owner introduced them to me, gave them a few instructions and left. I have a real issue when you leave someone to work for you who doesn't speak when we don't even speak close the same language. It was impossible to communicate. The quality of work was not at all what I was expecting. Although the bathroom, and kitchen did look better than when they started... I could of done just as good as work myself and I was expecting a deep clean since that is what I was told I needed. No follow-up after the first clean either. As a business consultant. $150 is a lot to clean an apartment and I didn't find their services to be worth that. I come from NY and was very surprised by the high price to clean my place. Also, their products were not green... Windex among other products high in chemicals were used. read more

Green Bee is a great service. They are very reliable, and I know they are doing some deep cleaning in my place because the furniture and belongings have all been moved around to clean underneath. I also appreciate that they clean my art work, around the corners and on the glass. When I come home my place smells and looks great. I would suggest this company for sure. read more

I have been having a team from Green Bee Cleaning come to clean my house for over a year now. They are always reliable, curteous, and thorough. Flavia, the owner, is very attentive to detail and regularly follows up to check that everything is satisfactory. She was also very honest in letting me know that the most efficient way to go would be to use standard cleaning products for the initial clean, due to the heavy build-up of grime (country home with animals) then keep up with the green products going forward. After the holidays I hope to be able to buget for some of the extra, major cleaning sevices that are available through Green Bee. I employed Green Bee for a period of about 6 weeks. They did cleaning for me every other week and provided a total of 3 services. Not only was one of the women unreliable in what she initially committed to (she said she would do daily, and then backed out 2 days later. She also said they provided a cooking service - and then backed out the day before she was going to start), they were rude and abrasive about billing and payment. I was told I was on a monthly billing plan and then was called and harrassed via voicemail (while I was on vacation) regarding a payment for 2 cleaning sessions (that would be one month of service - I wasn't even late- complete nonsense) I use to work with a woman for 11 years who was incredibly kind, reliable, honest and a pleasure to work with. Alas, she has returned to her home country. I like to work with people who are courteous and considerate - not rude, unreliable and demanding. Flavia and her cleaning partner did a great job in our office! They scoured the tiled floor, baseboards, windows, desks, and office bathroom here at Hurricane Hauling & Demolitionm, Inc. Not only did it smell great when they left, but they took all their trash, recycling, and equipment with them. She was very polite and communicative. I had a similar experience the first time Green Bee came and cleaned our house, it sparkled! However, the second time was a whole new ballgame. I hired them because they offered all natural cleaning products, which I was willing to pay extra for no problem. When they arrived, I noticed they had regular cleaning products they were using and I called them out on it! The bottle was sitting next to where they were cleaning and they claimed they weren't using it! What if someone in the house has an allergy?! It could have been a real problem. On top of them not delivering the greenness they advertise, the house was less than spotless. They were only there for barely an hour, the floors still had dirt on them, and even the bathroom counters hadn't been wiped down. I would NOT use this company again, they are not green! read more

I had my first experience with Green Bee and they were fantastic! I was surprised how much scrubbing (I guess I was more surprised how dirty my house was) and attention to detail. We have been using Green Bee for at least 3 years now to clean our 3 bedroom 2 bath house. The price is reasonable, they show up when they say they will and they do a thorough cleaning job. They even cleaned our shower curtain and made it like new, which I didn' t think could be done. I highly recommend them. read more

The first time I used Green Bee, I was charged $180 for a deep clean that included the refrigerator and getting behind the washing machine. The cleaning was superb EXCEPT that when I turned on my garbage disposal, it started choking, and I discovered that it contained a number of metal objects that when I had last seen them, were sitting on my washing machine (in a different part of the house). I called to bring this unfortunate incident to their attention. They apologized but did not accept responsibility. Their cleaning, however, was so good otherwise that I hired them a second time. The price was a bit less, and the cleaning, again, was excellent. Except this time, one of the cleaners broke the sliding door of a closet. Again, I called management. Somebody came to see the damage and gave me $50 in cash, which was the cost of bringing in a sliding door specialist to repair it. I tried GB a third time. This time, the general quality of the cleaning was excellent, but the cleaners lied about saying they had called me to say they had finished (no evidence on my phone), so I was late in returning to pay them, and chastised by management even though it was the cleaners responsibility to call me. About a year later (two weeks ago), I called GB again. Significant confusion occurred about the timing, and only 2 cleaners were sent when in the past three were dispatched, and I had made clear I had months of pet hair accumulation. The cleaning was decent, not great. Although there was less work than the first time they came, I was initially charged $40 more ($220!), and this did NOT include cleaning the refrigerator. Nor was the vacuum they brought as high power as before (so cleaning up the dog hair took a lot longer) Eventually Favia settled for $200 which I still think was excessive. I later discovered that one of the cleaners had thrown out the top to a camping water bottle, rendering it useless. Although overall, Green Bee cleans better than other cleaners I have used over the past few years, I have found dealing with the management so disagreeable that I will neither use them again, nor recommend them except to someone who enjoys being berated. I should note, I did not inspect their products to see if they really were green, and I speak fluent Spanish. read more

how do you rate a service when all you have is a missed appt? two, actually. i made an appt with Flavia 4 or 5 days ago. she was supposed to come to my house this morning between 10:30-11:00 to give an estimate for a big, deep, long-overdue cleaning of my dad's house. when she hadn't shown up by 12:30 i called, she was involved in helping her dog give birth. ok, ok, i think i believe this. she forgot to call me. ok. she said she would call/come over when done. it's 2:00 now. no word, no Flavia. this would be less critical if i hadn't lost the week AND the morning in waiting for her... and now i need to find someone else to come and deep clean BEFORE NEXT WEEKEND when we have 6 people coming to stay with us for a month, including a toddler who will lick everything... so, i ask... should i be mad or just move on? who's got a great non-toxic cleaning person who can come to fairfax next week? need help!
