It took a me years to even get around to doing this because it was so traumatic for me. I spent $450 here to have my stuff cleaned and they literally ruined a handful of my very favorite, irreplaceable wardrobe items. I have to say that I believe her son was in charge at the time--and I, myself had outsourced the job to a new personal assistant (who, unbeknownst to me at the time, felt dry-cleaning was beneath her... at being paid far higher than a teacher's salary). ‍ It was all a rather karmic revelation. But I couldn't get my silks and my satins back (and there are some I still only wear to bed, because somehow the insides were saved, whereas the outsides are dull and crunchy--that's not dry cleaning, my loves, these things were tossed in a dryer). Here's to not being able to let things go... And to hopefully having learned when to not put the bubbie in charge for a high-paying order. read more

They are absolutely amazing! Firstly the staff is so incredibly friendly and attentive, Sadie especially has my heart. Secondly, they do an amazing job with quality assurance for both their tailoring and cleaning services. I had a time where the stain didn't come out completely and they redid my shirt again until it was perfect free of charge. Sadie and her son are marvelous team. My daughter needed her wedding dress altered in a very short amount of time. As well as my dress and my husbands tux. She is amazing. And thoughtful as well. We had to have a friend pick up the order due to logistics and time. She was worried my husband would forget his cuff links and sent an extra pair in case as well as plenty of safety pins. When we moved to Marin County I tried a few cleaners but stopped shopping around when I met owner Sedi at Spotless Cleaners. She provides the kind of customer rapport and service that has unfortunately become a rarity these days. They were always able to get stains out of our clothes and even my kid's vomit off couch pillow cases, and for at modest cost. They are wonderful business owners who care about all their customers, Muslims, Jews and Christians alike. I tried on a dress to get tailored and the woman was so judgmental about my body in the dress. Her unsolicited advise was SO RUDE. I changed my mind about getting alterations for the dress, but still dropped off clothes to get dry cleaned. When I picked up the dry cleaning a couple weeks later, she remembered me and started talking about my body in the dress AGAIN and even said, "someone's got to tell you." After getting married I called around to several places about cleaning/preserving my wedding dress. The prices were as expected and I settled on Spotless Cleaner because it was close to work and the woman who answered the phone was so friendly. I dropped off my dress and was quoted $100+ which was a lot but it was my wedding dress and worth the cost. Fast forward to 4 months later, I had been so busy and couldn't make it in to pick up my dress but managed to make it in today and was pleasantly surprised that my bill was only $35.00; the kind woman who helped me the first day and the man whom I assume is her son told me that my dress was so simple that it didn't seem fair to charge me so much. Sadie did the most beautiful tailoring on my navy blue lace Vera Wang gown!! She was able to keep the intricate scalloped lace hem by basically taking apart the long skirt and reattaching it at the waist. It was the perfect gown for my brother-in-law's wedding yesterday, and I received a ton of compliments! I brought it in about a week before the wedding and even though I was worried about the length, I called Sadie and she reassured me that it would be ok. BEWARE OF SURPRISE OVER-CHARGING The owner is such a pleasant lady, from Persia she says. She'll carefully inspect your clothing upon drop-off. BUT...when you return to retrieve your clothing suddenly it's no longer the stated price but you get a story about "special treatment" that results in a price 2 times higher than what you expected. I've been a loyal customer but I don't tolerate being over - charged without being given notice at time of drop-off. I won't return to Spotless Cleaners and I am warning my friends to carefully double-check their charges. This type of merchant behavior truly disappoints. read more

I really wanted to like this Dry Cleaner for the convenient location and reasonable prices but unfortunately I just had the worst experience. I took my blazer in because it had a stain on the back, which I told the nice lady who is probably the owner. After a couple days I came to pick it up and the stain was still there. I told her about it and she apologized and told me to come back on Tuesday the next week. I did and the blazer wasn't there. She apologized again and wrote down my number and promised to call me when the blazer is back. Another week had passed and I never got a call so I went back AGAIN. She had some weird excuse for not having called and I got my blazer which still had the stain!!! She had no explanation for that and I assume that the people who do the actual dry cleaning had never been told that there was a stain. She gave me a discount of $1.25 which was ridiculous. I was really disappointed since it took them three weeks to NOT lift a stain and a lot of driving around and frustration on my part. It all seemed very unorganized and the lady kept blaming "the people at the plant". Based on this experience I cannot recommend this Dry Cleaner. read more

Reading the 1 star reviews of Spotless Cleaners will tell you that there are still a lot of self important people in this world that do not value the time of the people that serve them. Sadie and her son, Cheyenne are two of the kindest, warm and honest people you will ever meet. I have been using her services for 20 years because I am one who wears a tie and suite every working day, and I have always been pleased with the results. But the real reason that I use spotless cleaners is that I enjoy the people so much, it is like seeing a good friend rather than just completing an errand. Every time I go to Spotless Cleaners, I increase the happiness and joy in my life. Shortly after I started using spotless cleaners, before I even knew the names of the owners, I made the mistake of leaving a parcel of yellow diamonds in a shirt pocket that I gave them for cleaning. When I went back to pick up my shirts, they took such pains to make sure that I wasn't embarrassed by my own carelessness. I knew right then that their honesty had paid for all of the cleaning that I would need the rest of my life. read more

The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because I haven't used enough others around to know that they're really the best, I've only used them for laundering my dress shirts (so I don't know how they do with, say, dry cleaning), and because the parking kinda sucks (one spot out front in a shared lot with Sol Food -- kinda hectic). Aside from that, they've got the cheapest laundering around at ~$1.50 per shirt (oh no, I just blanked! It's either $1.50 or $1.75), which is significantly cheaper than Marin Cleaners at more than $3 per shirt ($3.15?). They did a great job, and the couple is very nice and friendly -- they greet me like I've been a lifelong customer! read more

It's very hard to find a good place for dry cleaners and I tend to just keep my suits in the closet and not wear them instead of getting them cleaned. Little did I know there was this gem right under my nose. It's a small place located right on the corner and if you drive too fast you will miss it. They have a parking lot that fits two cars so suggestion is to find street parking since you will most likely be running in and out quickly anyway. Each time I've gone there I've been greeted with a smile and hello. They are very particular with the clothes that they take, addressing the item, color and other things necessary for the cleaning. The best part of all are their prices! Maybe I don't have other places to compare it too but I'm willing to say they have very good prices which will keep me as a happy customer. I went in for the first time the other day to get a coat cleaned, when I went to pick it up a few days later, she remembered my name/order and picked it off the rack to hand to me before she looked at my ticket! Unlike a previous customer the owner told me about, I did not leave any diamonds in my pockets, but I was happy to find she'd safety-pinned a loose button onto my coat (it had a lot of loose buttons which I've since reinforced).
