AN ABSOLUTE SCAM. I wish I could give NEGATIVE STARS. As others have stated, I wish I had looked at Yelp prior. I was not the one who personally booked, but I live in the home where the cleaning was requested. The company gave excuse upon excuse about being late for two days - stomachache, car accident... literally those were the excuses. I understand things happen, but this sounded so incredibly suspicious. Mind you, we moved all our furniture to have our carpet cleaned. Next, when they finally came, the cleaners quoted us more than 4 times the price that is listed on the bogus website. We were confused and of course a disagreement turned into something more hostile. I called the company twice and was given a completely fake answer about the pricing after the first call. The second call was absolutely horrendous. The man I spoke to was belittling, rude, used foul language and blamed me for "not reading the fine print" that actually does not exist on the website. When I asked for an email or any other form of contact/website, I was told "only the manager could give me that information." Red flag upon red flag - the website has credit card icons and the cleaners said they don't even take credit cards. The man on the phone also told me the "basic cleaning would ruin the carpet" and gave me a runaround, mumbling speech about how "bad our carpet is" and how "they just sent him photos" even though I never verified the appointment. It was confusing, gaslighting, offensive, and obviously a scam. I called him out on the suspicious behavior (such as withholding information) and he got more and more upset. I'm surprised at the amount of negative reviews. I actually had a good experience. Got the carpet on stairs and an area rug cleaned for what I think was a good price. Everything is currently drying but it looks cleaner than before, I can clearly tell the colors are brighter and the stains are gone. I was told the cost would be $119 (the advertised deal on the website). When the cleaner showed up they said the carpets were badly stained and said I would need to pay $330 for a "deep cleaning". I was not present and needed the work done so I agreed even though I didn't think the carpets were in that bad of shape. The condo is a rental property and my property manager put a lock box on the door for them to use to enter. As soon as the cleaner was "done" they demanded immediate payment. My mistake, I paid them via Zelle (FYI, the company showed up as "AM Janitorial Services Inc" in Zelle) before checking the work. When my property manager checked the cleaning the next day. The carpets were not cleaned. They did a little once over on a few spots but definitely did not clean the carpets with a "deep cleaning". In addition, the carpeted stairs were not touched at all. To make matters worse, the carpet cleaner walked off with my key that was in the lock box. I called the company (760-670-4099) to complain and ask for a re-do of the service. I was given the run-around and had to make many calls to finally get to someone who would document my complaint. I was told my complaint would be forwarded to a manager. A week went by and I did not hear a word. I then called back and eventually got connected with a "manager". Her name was Veronica. She was nice and told me the company would re-do the service. She said I would be getting a call back from the service department to schedule the cleaning. Later that day (April 13, 2023), I got a call back from the service department (619-928-5438) and was told they do not do "re-do's" and could do nothing else for me. I said I would file complaints with the BBB and FTC if they did not honor their "Guaranteed 100% satisfaction" claim on their website. Do not use this, it is a very bad and will make you unhappy. They are not doing the work themselves; they use subcontractors which they call "our technicians". So, there is no leverage for quality. This is basically a booking agent, and they use several websites with different names for fishing the market all with $99 special. I had a very bad experience and now need to redo my carpet. For $160 this "technician" made the carpet wet with water of 90 degrees Fahrenheit and called that steaming, this was the "basic cleaning" deal for $99. It took him 25 minutes in total while I have 4 rooms. I noticed that the machine was leaking and was broke, I made pictures of it. The company did not follow up on my complaint of the wet carpet. The $99 special is just to get in the door, you will pay much more and the technician uses technical lies to convince why you need to pay more. Also, they charge Tax on top of this. Sales tax for Labor is not possible, income tax is for that. Sales tax is only possible on products. For basic cleaning they used no products other than water which is coming out of your own tap. He charged $350 plus tax and asked to be paid via Zelle. I looked at the stairway carpets, since the bedroom and closet were located up the stairs and they were wet. It was hard to tell when carpets were still wet, how well of a job they did. I'm too trusting. He did a basic clean. There were still stains everywhere.
