Neil came to my rescue! One of the big-name carpet cleaner companies couldn't complete the job because their engine exploded inside the back of their van...literally. Paid $160.00 in cash for this guy to come clean 3 bedrooms walkway paths only, not the whole room less than 270 Sq feet for all 3. I used a bissell to spot clean in the master early in the month so I had some nice clean spots. So this guy was to come clean the carpet and make it as clean as the spots I made. 24 hours later I still have my clean spots and my carpet does not look like he cleaned it at all. I called him asked if he would come out and just go over the area again, he basically said no. I must have used bleach on the carpet...NOT! I use the Bissell soap that came with it for pets. DONT use the cleaning service on the back of City Shopper he will take your money and run. I did call another carpet service they said if he was professional he would come back for at least 20 minutes with hot steam it again. This guy RUINED our carpet! read more

Short version: Neil was awesome. Hire him and move on to other worries. Long Version: - Quality of Work: I used to clean carpets for a living, came from a family-owned multi-generational janitorial business doing big commercial buildings with industrial strength equipment and picky business clients. I think I'm qualified to tell you the system Neil uses is a very good one. Most importantly, it sucks the dirty water out to his truck mount. Don't get a system that doesn't do this, otherwise it just moves dirt around and makes your carpets look brighter, but the yucky stuff is still there just buried deeper. Also, every step of the way he would point out things he was doing to deal with trouble spots, get my approval on them before moving on. His emphasis was on making me happy. - Price: Wasn't the absolute cheapest, but very affordable. - Reliability: Scheduled a couple weeks ahead of time at my convenience. He remembered without a reminder, showed up on time, did the work efficiently. - Professionalism: He's got great equipment, dresses well, communicates well. OK, enough. Go hire him. read more
