I used Appian 80 Express cleaners for the first time a week ago. I took in 14 items, all needed for an overseas business trip. The first issue is that the items were not ready by the promised date so I had to go back the next day. On the second trip the pants didn't have the crease that I requested so I had to make another trip. On the third trip only 13 garments were returned and I didn't realized this until I got home so I had to make a fourth trip. When I was packing I realized that they stained the brand new sweater that I had purchased and realized the extremely bad quality of their workmanship. I paid almost $200 and got an expensive brand new sweater ruined by them. Lastly, all the items had a really bad smell. In short, I do not recommend this place at all. read more

Great customer service. The owner's mother (the seamstress) has modified my motorcycle clothing to enable me to use body armor in my pants and jackets. This is a nice little cleaners tucked away in the Safeway shopping center. I brought in a hard to clean sweater, a dress with pleats that I didn't want to mess up, and a jacket that I wanted handled with special care. They more than came through with all three! They did a great job on the sweater. They smoothed out any pilling that the sweater had accumulated and made it look like new again. The jacket also came out looking brand new, and clean and bright. They did a good job on the dress. The pleats remained intact. I didn't want to wash it myself and have to iron all those pleats. They did a superb job and saved me a big ironing job. After my old cleaners couldn't do my shirts onsite due to being "too" big, I found this place and they said they can handle it. Not only they do everything in house, they can have it don't in a shorter amount of time. Also I had some patches to be sewn on hats of my military service and they did it beautifully. My fitted caps looked awesome. Also I had an 8 year old Northface vest that I wore almost everyday and the zipper cracked. I took it to them and they said they can replace it but they didn't have the color burgundy. So I asked for a black one. To my surprise when I picked it up, she told me they found a matching burgundy zipper. Wow! I'm just so amazed! My new cleaners for the area. First time using the drying cleaning service here. Had to dry clean 3 jackets. They came out to nearly $60. I haven't had to dry clean clothes since COVID and was surprised by how expensive it's gotten. Anyway, the clothes came out timely and appears to be clean correctly. There's really nothing else to it. The place is at a corner closer to the Main Street and is in the same plaza as the Safeway. If you use the Apple Maps app, it takes you to another location so be sure to drive towards the Safeway. read more

I took my dress for my daughter's wedding here for alterations. First she charged me a fee for using my credit card without even telling me or having me sign the receipt. I didn't find out until I got home and looked at my statement. When I called and asked about it, she stated there was a sign on the counter. But when I had went, the counter had clothing on it covering the sign so how was I supposed to see it? She did offer for me to bring in cash and she would take it off my card but what a hassle all she had to do was say hey we charge a fee for credit and let me decide from there. I had the bottom shortened as well as the straps. I paid $126 for both. I get my dress back and the skirt is fine but the straps are not lying flat. Instead of cutting the excess fabric off and putting a seam in, they folded it under and sewed it like that. This caused a huge lump on the straps. As it was right at the top of my shoulder, it was quite noticeable. Made my very expensive dress look very cheap. I take my dress back in because I was told if I had a problem I could get one free correction if I had a problem with my alteration. This should have been a red flag. The woman there tries to talk me in circles explaining why it was sewn incorrectly. She even said something along the lines of I only charged you $22 for the straps. She should've charged me whatever the cost would've been to have it done correctly, the first time. Everything she was saying was BS. My grandmother was a seamstress and I knew it should have been a simple cut and sew alteration. Rather than admit their error, she kept trying to explain it away, assuming that I had no knowledge of sewing. She tried to tell me they would have had to redo the entire top of the dress in order to have it done correctly. That is just crazy. At this point, she states they will "try" to fix it. I go to pick it up a 2nd time and the stitching is crooked and one strap only has half a seam. I will never return here for anything. Do not trust them to do a good job. Hopefully the new seamstress I found can fix the problem. Otherwise my dress is ruined with just two weeks ago before the wedding. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

I took a suit and dress to get dry cleaned at this location on a Thursday and was informed it would be ready the following Monday. I was out of town so my wife went to pick up the items. When she called to check in, the woman sounded like she forgot that our items were due that day and told my wife they would be ready in 5 min. When my wife picked up the items, they still smelled bad. The woman claimed she didn't know she had to clean the smell off. And that california baned certain chemicals so there was nothing they could do. It seems like they just steamed the items. For $50 I could have done that at home. Not going back here again read more
