I'm on the board for my HOA building and was looking to hire a new landscaping company. Cornelio came out, he was super professional. He even matched a couple of the competitive estimates. We decided to give him the contract. I put him in contact with the building manager. The building manager asked for some insurance documents and licenses and that's when Cornelio ghosted us. He just stopped responding completely after being awarded the contract and confirming that he was able to deliver. This was a huge hit to our community because we had already fired the previous landscaping company that we used for 20 years. Both myself and the building manager tried contacting Cornelio numerous times to no avail. This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Any sort of communication would have sufficed. Beware. I'm guessing he doesn't have the insurances he's claiming to have. read more

I used yelps project tool to have people send proposals for my tree cutting project. The problem with these are that you'll get really flakey companies who act like they want the job but never show up. When I first contacted green control landscape, we did a quick video chat to assess the project. They were able to give me a quote right on the spot. We scheduled something the same day and not once did they flake!!! Their prices are fair and they did a spectacular job. Cornelio and his team are wonderful! They arrived on time for a massive tree trimming and stump removal project. After confirming our choices from the initial estimate, they quickly got to work and carefully started moving other backyard potted plants and light features to ensure they weren't damaged. Cornelio checked in with me a few times just to make sure they were doing exactly what I wanted as they progressed throughout the day. They were also very mindful of the safety of my kids and my dog - when they took a break for lunch they secured all of their gas-powered equipment and heavy duty trimming tools so when my dog went into the backyard she wouldn't get hurt. I was very impressed by their thoughtfulness! Cornelio and his team opened up my backyard! Four different species of trees were trimmed and they maintained the shape and integrity unique to each one. They failed to respond to texts and calls about monthly service. The team was hired to do a general cleanup and then to come back for monthly service. They did the first cleanup, but then ignored all attempts to schedule the monthly visits. This is highly unprofessional because I agreed to a large payment for the cleanup, in order to secure their services over the long term. I recommend you contact another company if you want consistent service, instead of a one-time money grab. read more
