Lighting is essential and too much can get really tacky. I'm sure you, too, have neighbors who think their solar lights that change colors are attractive ~ especially next to their front door. You have GOT to be kidding me. The work crews are wonderful and get great pleasure out of seeing you, the homeowner, sooooooooooo happy. They do their best to leave your yard as clean and neat as possible at the end of each work day. They park out of your way and allow you to continue to live your normal schedule. The work itself was fine albeit about 2-3 weeks later than promised. . However, the crew first failed to trim more than half of the bushes agreed to be trimmed. They came back and still needed multiple redirections and reminders to complete the trimming fully. The final issue involved putting preen and mulch over existing weeds. Preen does not kill existing weeds only prevents others from growing. I was promised by Marco that if they are an issue then he would come back and spray them. Ok. He says he's coming....he never comes. This is a skeleton crew and unless you are a large job, don't expect great things even when you are reassured multiple times. Empty promises.

The discharge point they installed sits in a depression, meaning the water constantly overflows and sheets directly across the public sidewalk instead of draining properly. This created a slip hazard and left a permanent puddle in the yard. Because the water was left to sit stagnant, my grass is now dying and turning orange from iron bacteria. When I reached out to Daniel with photos of the flooding, he told me to 'wait 10 days' for the ground to drain. I waited the full timeframe, but the problem persisted. I reached out multiple times afterward to get a plan together to fix the grading or extend the line. Daniel completely stopped responding and abandoned the project. I am now having to hire a second landscaping company to fix the problem.
