7/8/2026 Tonight we took 18 residents from Swan Pointe's HOA to Green District Salads. They have plenty of room in the building. Our Servers tonight were Sophia, Elsie, Haylie, and Logan. They worked very well together. You could build your own salads, it comes with 2 Greens, 4 Fruits & Veggies, 1 Dressing, 1 Crunch. There are 19 different Salads, 19 wraps, 19 grain bowls, on their menu! One person would put the lettuces into the salad bowl and adds the protein (Chicken, Salmon, Shrimp, and Chicken Salad, and Smoked Pimento) The next step was to add more to the salad. The bowls were filled with so many items. Strawberries, cranberries, potato sticks, cheese, sunflower seeds, grapes, just about anything! They topped the salads with dressing or you could just get the dressing on the side. They had lots of sodas, juices, waters, and fountain drinks. The restaurant was really clean and they have children's meals. Grilled Cheese with apple slices. Kids Plates and Kids Bowls. Never heard of a salad that takes 30 minutes to make. Waited 25 minutes even after calling the order in. And salads were mid. Cray.

Tasty salad but nothing spectacular. The individual components of it taste pretty good but the whole feels disconnected in terms of flavor. I ordered a build your own with kale + spinach as the base, artichoke hearts, broccoli, brussels sprouts, garlic roasted chicken, jalapeno, goat cheese, croutons, nutritional yeast, oregano, everything seasoning, and red pepper flakes through DoorDash. Nothing to complain about in particular and nothing to praise, but for almost $14.50 (almost $17 if you DoorDash not including fees) I expect more from food in general, especially in Louisville. It's a very healthy meal that left me wishing for more and also wishing that salads weren't so overpriced. Perhaps my opinion will change after trying a different order. read more

Came in and some lady was really giving the young lady a hard time about the price of the salad she ordered and made all these modifications to. As a regular of all the locations- you know "guac is extra". Meaning we know things cost extra. She handled it so very well maintained her composure and was gentle patient and kid and just compassionate with her. I'm not saying she was rude but she beating a dead horse- the price is what you created. Lmao Both ladies were extensively nice and made our orders correctly and fast! I always appreciate happy interactions and excellent communication. So glad we stopped in today!! This location is very cute the decor is beautiful and fun in the established signature green. I go to Green District at least once a week and the food here is always amazing and fresh. The portions are decent, and I love how customizable the menu is. Along with a salad, I get a side of pita and hummus and it's incredible. The staff is always very welcoming and friendly even during busier moments. I've ordered online and in person and both options are great. The inside is always clean and pretty quiet even with music. Overall, it's been a good experience every time I go! read more

My go-to for a healthy meal. Green District allows me to get an excellent vegan meal, chock full of various varieties of beans/veggies/greens. I can also avoid oils, as they have Balsamic vinegar and spice things up with Siracha. Green district salads is a speciality salad eatery that has a few locations popping up across the city of Lousiville. This particular location is in Middletown community of Lousiville. For being mainly salads they have a surprisingly large menu with plenty of options. Now I'll be the first to admit. I'm not a salad guy but my wife and daughters are huge fans so we frequent here. My wife go to salad here is the Thai One On salad and she appears to enjoy it quite a bit. Very large and filling so it leaves her satisfied. Overall a cool and unwise spot that has had good service and features spacious interior. I'm not one to get excited for salad places. But if your like my wife and oldest then this is the place for you! read more

This new spot for salad is clean and easy to get a quick lunch. I tried out the newest fall menu, The Fall Guy salad with a can of Harvest cider. The fall guy was $11.49, and I felt that was a fair price as I was able to split it into two meals so it's like getting two salad for $6 each. The price of the local cider was $4. Not terrible but that's $16 out the door. Great location to grab a salad after shopping around at Walmart or Target. read more

This was my 1st time and it was very clean and the workers were welcoming. They have over 10 combinations to choose from with preset ingredients or you can build your own salad like a Qdoba bowl. I had the GD special but I took off the avocado, just not a fan. See menu for detailed ingredients, it was good and flavorful and lots of chicken, I had a peice in every bite and it was soo good. I had the avocado lime ranch and I got an extra cup the salad is so big I ended up needing Greek Vinaigrette from the fridge also rookie mistake for not shaking my salad. Still didn't finish the whole thing. I can't wait to go back and build my own and try one of the lemonades! I thank Middletown everyday for giving me so many healthy lunch options near me, but now I can give an extra thanks for having a salad restaurant! I love the build-your-own style places, but unfortunately none are close enough to visit conveniently. Like I expected, it's very similar to Vinaigrette Kitchen, and set up in a Subway-esque assembly line. I love all of the different options they have, including the option to make it into a wrap as well. I did find the food here pretty expensive for fast food - almost $40 for two salads and waters... But I guess that's the price to pay to get a healthier option. I tried the What About Cobb salad and really enjoyed it! It was also very huge, and filled me up quickly. They have other classic salad styles, as well as some different options. Green District Salads is awesome! I'll definitely be finding myself here from time to time. read more

Let me preface this by saying, I normally love GDS! I love the selection and freshness of their ingredients. Great variety - both the Thai and Greek salads rank as my favorites. I also love that they have salmon and shrimp as alternatives to chicken. That being said, I ordered there last night for carry out and they had either rushed the packing or weren't paying attention. The wrap for my partner wasn't firmly wrapped and a significant amount ended up in the bottom of the bag. My salad lid did not fit the bowl and it was a struggle keeping it closed while driving (I was worried about it ending up on the floor and ending up holding the bag the short ride home). Really hope they read this and improve their packaging! I was not happy with that experience. read more

This place hits the spot when you don't want drive a thru salad. I have had lunch at both Old Brownsboro Crossing and Veterans Parkway. I like the Brownsboro dining room better but my salad was prepared equally delicious. I suggest buying/spending more than you normally would so you can get a feel for breadth of their choices. Second visit, same experience. I tried another salad today, the forbidden fruit, adding edamame and asking for balsamic vinaigrette on the side. It was as suggested to get kale and spinach as the bases, but I switched the spinach for romaine. While this salad promotes several toppings, including chicken and bacon, it's mainly lettuce. The stinginess of the toppings doesn't offer the value for the price paid. I'm taking GDS off my go-to list. When you only finish the salad because you don't want to "lose your money" it's time to return to my salad staples. read more

When I initially heard of this Green District, I wondered how well a Salad Concept would do. I can now say Green District (GD) has a district and valuable offering that sets them apart as a company. My favorites thus far are the Firebird and Thai One On. The salads are very substantial and delicious to the final bite! I also love how the Middletown location is run. It is clean, and the manager was a great ambassador for the brand. You could really tell he loves what he does. I definitely recommend this place, as they have something for everyone. If you prefer, any salad can be a wrap. Also, make sure to check out the seasonal specials- they're fantastic as well! read more

This was my 2nd visit to Green District in 2 weeks. I went to this restaurant around 12:20 this time and they were busy but all hands were on deck... a full crew working hard behind the line. My first time was a tad later, around 12:45 and they weren't as busy that day. Each employee that I came in contact with was professional and friendly. The first trip, I had the Thai One On salad which included shrimp. I made no adjustments to my salad and thought it was quite yummy. I went with the Fall Guy grain bowl this 2nd time... almost like Thanksgiving in a bowl with turkey, squash, cranberries, onion crisps, apples, etc. The bowl was sooo delicious! We picked up GD Salads for lunch today - A build your own and a Forbidden Fruit salad. Both were really good. Ingredients were fresh with lots of topping options, and we liked that the salads were chopped. My only complaint - I've gotten carry out at GD 3 times now and I've been consistently disappointed in the amount of the toppings, specifically proteins. It's minimal compared to another salad shop in town. read more

I absolutely love the Middletown location and the Manager Mariah. I use to come to this location frequently but haven't been able to get by here for about six-eight months. When I walked in Mariah remembered me and was so delightful. The store is always clean, staff is friendly, and food is perfect. The only thing I do wish is for the brussels sprouts to make a return.
