Stumbled upon Greendoor after a long day of skiing and fortunately this was one of our closer options that was still open late! From the moment I walked in I was obsessed with this bar, the decor and music were right up my alley and really did give it that dive bar vibe, and it most definitely is a dive bar. The food is tasty, well sized portions, and surprisingly cheap for on the mountain prices. Ordered The Works burger and it was deliciously seasoned and flavor packed even down to the bun. The applewood bacon perfectly complemented the burger with Cabot sharp cheddar, the lettuce and tomatoes were freshly cut, the mushroom and onions were cooked to perfection. Service was not terrible. Our food was supposed to be an hour it came out in 20 minutes. The bartender was the only person working so he was covering the whole restaurant. So getting drinks or his attention was difficult from time to time. read more

A Stratton mountain staple that's open late with great nightly specials! I happened to be there on their steak night which was 8.99 for a 4oz steak, mashed potatoes, and salad. Plus it came with a beer! Multiple pool tables made it a nice hangout spot even if you're not there for food. Will definitely be back next time I visit Stratton. read more

5 beers, $55 Jack n Coke $20+ Lets start off with that. Monthly rent price or not, 2020-2024 Inflation must be hurting this place bad to charge those prices. Came only for nightlife, since its the only bar open till 12am (Friday) and 2am (Saturday) Friday, DJ, meh not great. Im guessing famous local same city dj, played not so great edm, throws in randomly everybody's not so favorite song Journey don't stop believing. Mix of age there not just 20 year olds, play throwbacks. Saturday, they said a band would play. Awesome, $10 cover, okay cool, should be great music. False. Funk Rock, not a cover band. Literally saw someone yawning second song in. Finished my gold bar worth of beer and left. Definitely a dive bar, but without any dive bar prices. Hard pass next time. read more

This place definitely has a dive bar feel. The ambiance was not offensive to me, but the service was really unprofessional. Our bartender brought four water cups to our table and carried them with his fingers on the lip of the glass. This first impression really turned me off to this place and I did not stay long. I was told upstairs at Mulligans that the Green Door Pub serves the same food because the restaurants are connected. It was Monday, and Mulligans offered a Maki Monday deal on sushi. After we ordered the sushi at the Green Door Pup, we were told that they do not honor the deal on the sushi that Mulligans has upstairs. Between the poor service and conflicting messages, this place struck out twice. read more

Very bad service I went with my boyfriend and my friend from Dominican Republic and they kick us out puf the place because we didn't tip the guy. My friend didn't know she had to tip the bartender because they never do in her county. They were very disrespectful, they waited until we got the second round (she tip them) and they took our drinks away. Super bad experience never recommend this place. read more

My friends and I were harassed by a "regular" at this bar for wearing a mask from the moment we walk in. Immediately after paying and tipping generously at the bar, the staff came over and aggressively kicked us out. Don't come here if you care at all about COVID safety. read more

A group of friends and I went approximately three of us, got two rounds of drinks but did not tip and as soon as we had received our second round of drinks we were immediately kicked out and were charged extra for the second round. The people there did not give us an explanation as to why or how we could make this situation better. Petty service and a bizarre way to treat new customers. Stratospheric pricing, average (at best) food quality, and an insulting credit card surcharge left a disgustingly bad taste in my mouth. I understand that resort town restaurants and vendors are pricier, but Green Door Pub (also know as Mulligans) at Stratton Mountain Village goes beyond the pale. For example, $8 for a small bowl of miso soup, $8 for a small bowl of rice, $20 hamburger, $17 buffalo wings (and they're really small), and more! And to add insult to injury, they had the audacity to levy a $5.11 credit card surcharge. When I questioned this blindside it was quickly pointed out that it's stated on the menu. However, who looks for that?! This is the first restaurant I know of that imposes a card surcharge. And what's worse still is that the food is mediocre at best. Generally, I'm not a big believer in boycotting, but the Green Door management must be put on notice that these issues will not be tolerated. Sadly, the wait staff are ultimately affected because their tips may be adjusted for this inflation. PLEASE, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE until the food quality and rip-off pricing and policies are improved. read more

Totally a dive bar and it's awesome for it. It was the only thing open when we should all be asleep. The video games didn't work which was a bummer cause it's the reason we came back the second night. The drinks and strong and they are cheap for mountain prices. It's small and crowded and rowdy. Great dive bar!!! Had trouble finding it at first because it is basement lever bar, however place was just great. There are specials almost everyday. Monday and Thursday they have steak, mash potato, salad and a beer for $6.99!!!!! And it was good!!! Bar attender there is super cool! Grate service, great place! The closest thing to a dive bar at Stratton mountain. If you come here on a Monday you can get steak, mashed potatoes, a salad and a beer for $10! Yeah, it's the equivalence of diner steak but come on TEN DOLLARS!! The bar tender is super chill, there's a juke box where you can blast killer tunes, and during holidays this place is pretty fun. read more

This place definitely ruined our day. The staff is the rudest. The hostess was the most unprofessional person ever. She wouldn't give us 5 minutes to get everyone together to go to our table. Started giving us attitude for absolutely no reason. The hostess cursed us out in front of everyone. Gave an attitude to my children. Definitely the worst and the most immature person I've ever met. Was in the area for a Spartan race and wanted to find a good place to watch NFL football on Sunday, the Green Door Pub was definitely fit the bill having NFL Sunday Ticket. However there seemed to be a lot of false advertising going on. We started upstairs at Mulligan's and saw in their menu that Long Trails Ales were $3 and free wings (5-7 PM) during Sunday NFL games. Yet when we went down stairs there were no free wings (we were down there during the time frame) and we ordered 4-5 long trails and a bucket of wings ($12.99) and the bill came out to be $49 and change. In addition the sign out front advertised that a bucket of wings were $10.99 which was contrary to all the signs in the actual bar. Outside of all this the wings were delicious and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for but probably won't ever be back despite the Spartan weekend being an annual event for us. read more

I know you're out there, other people like me. Maybe this describes you: You come to Stratton because you know it's the best skiing and riding south of Killington, but you didn't empty your trust fund or withdraw from your 6-figure Fidelity account like most of the other patrons on the mountain. Well now, there's a bar on the mountain for you! This is the only place at Stratton where you actually feel like they aren't gouging you, in fact, I would venture to even say that drinking and eating here is a spectacular beer. They have $3 beers if you can stomach the cheap crap (and for $3, we all can) but the true value is the $13 3 pound bucket of wings. Cold beer, delicious wings right off the hill? Love it. The bartenders are awesome and the all-around vibe in this subterranean bar is relaxed...the place is grungy, but by design, not in a dirty, run-down way. Didn't stick around for night time, but it looks like they have a nice lineup of live music and cover bands. Really excited to find a stool here everytime I visit this mountain. read more

GDP is a cool basement-level pub catering to 20 and 30-somethings, it has a bit of a grungy feel and seems proud of it. Just the place for a PBR tall boy and to warm up the toes on a cold day. It's a relaxed unpretentious mountain dive bar. The bar service was terrific and the atmosphere was great. read more

Don't let the appearances fool you; they serve more than PBR tall-boys at this basement bar. Just ask the heavy-metal mixologist to serve up one of their world famous Cuba Libres.
