We stopped in right when they opened at 11:30am on a Saturday. First the space is very nicely put together and very clean. Very nice ambiance. Service was super friendly and food came out fast. Flavor wise everything was soooo good. We got the fried tofu app which was some of the best tofu I've ever had as well as the Thai golden bags which were so good. Green Elephants has another Thai restaurant in town but that one was not open on the day we went so we opted for this vegan restaurant. We ordered pick up but the service here seems very good and friendly. We had water while we waited. We ordered the curry puffs, curries, and thai lime iced tea. The curry puffs were delicious! The thai lime iced tea does not have any milk or creamer. It was too sweet and has a flavor that I didn't particularly like. We got the curries as mild which had the perfect amount of spice. They had trouble accommodating a large group mostly cos they were highly understaffed and were not able to turn over the tables fast enough. They don't have reservations. They had a put a sign on the door that food would take 1 hr + from order to be able to serve for both dine or take out option. Just this sheer time lag made me drop a star. My wife ordered the Tom Yum soup, and I almost stole it from her after she let me have a taste. It was both sweet and savory, and I could've drank the broth out of my water bottle while hiking the gorge that afternoon. We had originally tried to go to the Roosterfish pub for lunch, but no one seemed to notice us standing there waiting for a table. Not sure if there are other good options for Thai/vegan food in this area! But this place has terrrible service (the worst I've ever seen). It took 40 mins for them to "reset" a table which simply involved placing water and plates on it. There's only one (rude) staff member as the host/server and cannot handle the volume of people that walked in. There were several people who were refused service despite there being empty. I also saw several Togo order folks being made to endlessly wait. To be fair, the food is really good and can be made authentically Thai spicy. Ambiance is really nice too.
