    Corned Beef Hash....AMAZING!
    Michael F.

Food came out fast and hot. Service was good and establishment was clean. The Outlaw wrap was good with a perfect mix of ingredients. However, the side of Corned Beef Hash ended up being the star of the show. I am a self-proclaimed connoisseur of the hash and I can honestly say this was the best I've ever had.

Great breakfast spot. Chocolate chip pancake with half the chips was awesome. Really tasty. The potatoes on the Athena breakfast were transformational for me. I love the rosemary. The eggs were meh. Toast too meh. The hot chocolate awesome. Bacon phenomenal.

Ordered the huevos rancheros. Menu clearly states fried eggs, ours came with scrambled which was disappointing.

After touring the Von Trapp Lodge and meeting the highland cows, we came here for an early lunch! We loved everything we ordered. The soup of the day was chilli and dipped our grilled cheese in it (YUM!) Also loved the Caesar wrap, very fresh and perfectly dressed. I was so impressed with their Cuban sandwich and the meat in the carnitas wrap! Service was great! Staff really helped us decide what to try and was very hospitable. There's only about 5 tables inside and then a couple bar areas, but seats open up as you make the line.

Breakfast Bowl - on the skimpy side

My husband and I decided to come here for the top reviews, but we regret coming here. My family and I decided to order our food, and half of our order came out, and then the other food that we did order either never came out , we got cold food, and the wrong items came out. By the time everyone got their food, it practically all cold. Yes, they apologized, but the quality of the food was not that great. I decided to get the breakfast bowl, and it definitely was not worth $11 it was very skimpy and cold when it came out. I was not happy at all. I decided to get a side of French toast, and it was very tasteless . I would highly suggest checking out a different place and saving your money. We spent a total of $77, which was definitely not worth it.

Great place to be if you're a lark! Try the fennel bagel. Yum! sit at a table in the back.

I ordered catering for 2 lunches for a group of 20 and we absolutely LOVED everything! One lunch was Burrito bowls which were a huge hit with the entire group - delicious, filling and couldn't get enough of their green goddess sauce. Tender meats, flavorful sides, everyone in my group kept raving to me how good it was. Another day's lunch were sandwich platters & salads and equally delicious; appreciated that I could make customizations. The cookie/brownie platters on both days were the perfect sweet treat. Athena and Tim were easy to work with on phone and email - made the entire booking/payment and choosing menu smooth, delivered on time and really appreciated them through the whole process. I would definitely order catering agin.

Adorable little place! Good lunch selection from sandwiches to bowls. The lavender lemonade was a favorite of mine,I'm usually not a lemonade kinda gal. If you're planning a hike this is the perfect place to grab and go. I was shocked to see they had falafel, Lamb or chicken gyro's.Extremly friendly service and clean.

Was not a huge fan. The wraps lacked any seasoning. They added mushrooms when I said to please remove them. Coffee was so bitter I threw my drink away. The jalapeño corn chowder was not spicy at all and needed some seasoning. They also advertise on their windows that they have juices but when we asked they said they had none. Only bottled ones which is not what we were anticipating. So disappointing given the great reviews.

    Cheesy Homefries

We ordered food here on a whim on our way to a hike! While the iced coffee tasted burnt and terrible, the food made up for it. I got the Cubano and it was easily the best sandwich I've eaten. It was crafted beautifully and each bite was perfection. The pork carnita wrap was also flavorful (but did not beat the Cubano!) Our friends also got the cheesy homefries and let us try some, and I could've easily eaten the whole thing. The fries were seasoned perfectly and the cheese on top brought the whole dish together. Overall, would come back for the food, and maybe the coffee will redeem itself!

Every bit of food was prepared just right. We did eat a pineapple salad that was so fresh and crisp and not overly dressed, which was on the Specials menu. I also ate the Halibut for my main course, which was also on the Specials menu. This was nicely done as well. My wife ate the pork tenderloin, from the regular menu, and it was delicious. The coup de grâce was the dessert. The ice cream of the day, which was an maple gingersnap flavor was outstanding, and carrot cake was hands down the best I have had in my life! The service was good, fast and efficient. If you are looking for a very good, but not inexpensive meal, we would absolutely recommend Harrison's.

Con - none of the 4 of us even liked our meals - they were inedible. We descended the narrow steep staircase into the dark dining room; outdoor seating was not open. The waitress promptly brought us menus and waters. There was a good variety of wines and we settled on the Sancerre. Charging for bread is not a good trend so $10 for 4 Parker House Rolls was disappointing. We also ordered the mussels and asiago fries. The chef seems to favor creamy white wine sauces - the added cream adds a heavy taste without adding flavor. The shrimp & sausage on mushroom ravioli had the cream sauce and cubes of sausage. The pasta primavera also had the cream sauce. It was super bland. We added chicken (see the photo of the chicken breast added to the top side of the dish not cooked in the dish). The salmon and its corresponding carrots were spiced with bebere which is very mild but not particularly enjoyable. And finally, the grilled rib-eye was bad, really bad. It was gelatinous and the worst steak we've ever had. I've only ever seen a steak cooked like this when it's cooked at too low a heat. We fed the leftover steak, chicken, and salmon to the dog.

The poutine was very good, but I'll grant you that it's maybe hard to get that wrong - but their gravy is on point! Service was great - got there around 5:40pm on a Wednesday, so the wait was non-existent and a table for 5 was easy to accommodate. Duncan was the server, who disclosed that he was new but you wouldn't know it from how he took orders and brought food out. Even threw him a curve by asking for the steak frites with an additional side of brussel sprouts, which he handled no problem - even though there weren't any sides I saw on the menu. Steak was medium rare and perfectly seasoned, and I think I mentioned the chimichurri but it deserves additional mention. Maybe you're wondering about beverages. The maple lemonade is great - it leans harder on the tart side and there are sweeter options around (Cliff House) but I love a lemonade that tastes... lemony. Pineapple cherry punch was also a hit - but that's secondhand hearsay, unlike my direct opinion on the chimichurri - which I would drink if I could. Definitely check this place out. The table near ours seemed to immensely enjoy their meal and also get great service from Duncan.

I love that it's all farm-to-table. Would absolutely eat here again and *highly* recommend it.

I love when the local bike shop is *truly* a LOCAL bike shop, and not some generic conglomerate that has hired locals. We got so many excellent recommendations on where to ride, what to look out for, and any setup changes we should make based on our individual setups. For those who didn't bring bikes, renting bikes was quick and painless. They took the time to get us dialed in before we were off to ride. The merch was top-notch. My only (very minor) disappointment was that the green hat that I bought to match the jersey I also bought was a children's hat. I missed that at time of purchase and didn't realize it until we were back at our rental for the night. It's okay, I brought it back the next day and they were cool about it and let me swap my kids hat for a different adult-size hat, even though they didn't have any green adult hats. I wish we had a few extra days in the area, I would have loved to join some of the local group rides that seem to meet here to ride regularly. We did eat lunch here one of the days. It was so nice to eat outside. There was a good flow of people in and out, but it didn't feel overwhelmingly busy. We had a group of 8, and yet everything arrived just as quickly as we ordered it. I had a crunch wrap. It felt like a lot of food, but it hit the spot. If I find myself back in the area, I will definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

Let's start with what we enjoyed during our visit: the drinks were good... the atmosphere was cool (more like a contemporary "cabin" vibe, which was definitely inviting)... and the staff were all stellar!! Where Ranch Camp let us down on this visit was the food. In fact, we desperately wanted to love the experience because everything LOOKED fantastic. However, all the food we ordered was bland. It all started with the pork nachos, which our party of 3 ordered as an appetizer. It was piled high and dripping with ingredients... but the dish completely lacked flavor. The pork was perfectly tender but tasted flavorless (until I added hot sauce and salt). I would also recommend they serve the dish with pico de gallo or salsa to boost the flavor. We had the same feeling with the burrito bowls. Two of us ordered different burritos (opting for bowls instead of tortillas), and we both thought the flavor was just okay. And on top of that, both of our bowls were lukewarm. In fact, the entrées weren't even hot enough to melt the cheese. I wish I would have sent the food back, but we were in a bit of a hurry. Finally, my friend James ordered the Chicken Quesadilla, which he also thought was "just okay." Oh, and we noted that a table near us sent back food... so not sure what was up with that, but we we weren't surprised based on our overall experience. Final Thoughts: Prior to visiting Ranch Camp, I read plenty of reviews praising the restaurant, so I'd like to think that they were just having a bad day.
