    Meat lovers egg white omelette
    Julio S.

This is a must try restaurant for breakfast. Two hour wait when we walked in for a couple. We almost left but glad we stayed. We were seated within 30 minutes! Electronic kiosk at door to place names on list. The restaurant is also an inn so you will have the guests coming down for meals. Not sure if they have preferential treatment for seating. The restaurant oozes vintage New England ambiance. It is a rustic dining area with big bar area. There is limited seating which explains the long wait times. We ordered a coffee, tea, and fresh squeezed orange juice. I was served a very good cup of coffee and they offered a small box full of various tea options. They do have full bar so brunch drinks are definitely offered. I asked the server for the must try menu item, "French toast!" before I finished the question. So I ordered the butler's pantry breakfast with maple sausage and ONE slice of French toast. My lady ordered meat lovers egg white omelette. Both breakfasts included home fries and their home made buttermilk biscuits! The omelette was prepared with farm fresh eggs, chunky ham, maple sausage, and bacon with melted cheese. The home fries may have been slightly over cooked. The French toast did not disappoint with Vermont maple syrup and powdered sugar. Both meals were worth the wait. Now the patrons next to us ordered jalapeño cheddar pancakes smothered in hollandaise sauce and syrup! Are you kidding me? That guy looked me dead in the eye and without speaking one word. I knew I missed out on something special. Parking is tricky in center of Stowe but restaurant does have small lot behind restaurant.

We visited Stowe VT this summer and enjoyed breakfast at the Butler's Pantry. Food is excellent and service is great. I enjoyed the biscuit and gravy. Jared T provided attentive service and the house is interesting old. My wife enjoyed an omelette with several ingredients that add up nicely on the bill (watch out)! In all fairness the value is good and food is presented well. Seating on the patios is an option in fair weather. Highly recommend

One of the greatest breakfasts of my life! Walked into this dreamy sunlit cafe 8am on a Monday and had the most incredible homemade biscuit with egg and cheese and this sweet maple sausage that was so out of this world, we ordered more on the side. Got a side of Blueberry pancakes with Vermont maple syrup, which were everything you want pancakes to be, as was the side of French toast sticks made from their biscuit, slightly crunchier than the average French toast and so good. Really recommend ordering a la carte so you can try as much as possible. Invigorating fresh-squeezed orange juice. Would come back tomorrow (if it was open Tuesdays). 5 stars!!!!!

Phenomenal place and service. One of the few breakfasts spots in the city. Get there at 7:50 and get on the waitlist. You'll wait for an hour. French toast is a must. Eggs Benedict nothing great. Hot chocolate was awesome. Great funny bartender. Cool to eat in such a cool spot. Very popular. The French toast id go back for.

Super good breakfast. French toast. Spicy pancakes and eggs Benedict are all good. Long wait in the weekend and kitchen stops at 12p so get there early

The menu is limited but the food is soooooo good. It brings the ordinary to life...basics like scrambles eggs and loaded breakfast potatoes...oh my goodness they do it right! I think thevkey is thec a quality...the space is crowded, but it is worth it

This place is it. Server, food, vibes - I want to eat breakfast here 5/7 days a week. Our server was so kind, and spot on with her follow up, checking in, recs, all. I got an Açaí bowl with a side of maple sausage (as she rec'd it) and 1. The maple sausage may be the best thing I've ever had for breakfast 2. Açaí bowl was fantastic, tiny, chopped fruit (which I like). My sister got the eggs Benny on the biscuit with the maple sausage and my god. I'm not a biscuit girl, but for these ones, I may become that girl. Overall, loved, and a nice warm feeling inside.

    Pancakes + lots of items.

Great small town with many gems. This is an amazing place to get amazing food with great service. Team was very friendly and even though very busy, food did not take long to get. Got a mix of everything but the highlight is the pancakes, worth it! Very much worth it if in the area!

Small and quaint, staff was super helpful and she did excellent with the amount of people in and out during the short time we were there. We had a bit of a wait but it wasnt a problem since there are cute little stores around the area. There were 4 of us so we made sure to try almost everything on the menu- its not a lot on the menu but what they do have, they sure have mastered it. We ordered: pantry breakfast (basically the grand slam of Dennys), acai bowl, mixed biscuits and gravy, eggs benedict, a glass of OJ, and a pancake to share. Everything was amazing. Everyone was happy with their meal. The only thing that threw us off was the maple sausage- although we were warned so we dont hold it against them. The maple sausage was a sausage made with maple and spices- not too sweet but its definitely different. Its either you love it or its not for you and for most of is it wasnt it. Other than that everything was superb. Definitely would go back if we ever head this way again!

Breakfast sandwich with homemade biscuit and maple sausage with a side of fruit

Can I give this place 6 stars? Because it deserves it! On day two of our trip, the only food I couldn't stop talking about was breakfast at The Butlers Pantry. I went with the homemade biscuits and maple sausage as a breakfast sandwich (with fruit on the side) and honestly--it was the best breakfast I've had all year. They also serve fresh-squeezed orange juice, which I regret not trying... so if you go, try it for me! We showed up right when they opened on a Monday morning and still ended up on the waitlist, so definitely plan ahead. Totally worth it, though--the staff was so warm and welcoming, and the cozy, homey vibe made the whole meal even better.

Amazing menu and great staff! We came in the end of September so it started to get busy but the staff and restaurant was amazing!! It definitely helps joining the waitlist on yelp before you go so your wait is shorter! The restaurant is on Main Street Stowe. The relaxing and picture perfect building with the wrap around porch is very cozy!

Dinner was amazing. Same fresh ingredients used as they with their breakfast menu. I always get the catch of the day.

The poutine was very good, but I'll grant you that it's maybe hard to get that wrong - but their gravy is on point! Service was great - got there around 5:40pm on a Wednesday, so the wait was non-existent and a table for 5 was easy to accommodate. Duncan was the server, who disclosed that he was new but you wouldn't know it from how he took orders and brought food out. Even threw him a curve by asking for the steak frites with an additional side of brussel sprouts, which he handled no problem - even though there weren't any sides I saw on the menu. Steak was medium rare and perfectly seasoned, and I think I mentioned the chimichurri but it deserves additional mention. Maybe you're wondering about beverages. The maple lemonade is great - it leans harder on the tart side and there are sweeter options around (Cliff House) but I love a lemonade that tastes... lemony. Pineapple cherry punch was also a hit - but that's secondhand hearsay, unlike my direct opinion on the chimichurri - which I would drink if I could. Definitely check this place out. The table near ours seemed to immensely enjoy their meal and also get great service from Duncan.

They use the Yelp waitlist, but I couldn't join it until we showed up to the restaurant, which was a little confusing. We ended up sitting at the counter by the wood fire, which was neat to watch. Our server (Jenn) was awesome. My drink was very pricy ($18), but it was pretty tasty. Everything was absolutely delicious - we got a Mac & cheese and 2 burgers with fries. I love that it's all farm-to-table. Would absolutely eat here again and *highly* recommend it.
