Such a cute caffe! Filled with plants which can be purchased and has a welcoming atmosphere. I've been exploring the area and came across this cute little place, it has now become a favorite place to study. Despite how busy it can get, I feel comfortable and focused on my work (thank you soundproof headphones). My favorites from the menu thus far are the breakfast bagel sandwich and strawberry matcha. The matcha is a great alternative for those of us who choose not to drink coffee, the strawberry puree at the bottom creates such a phenomenal balance of flavor! Not to mention, you can actually taste that it was made from strawberries and not simply a syrup. The bagel is just to my liking; not too well toasted, it has a perfect squish to it and the scrambled eggs are moist and fluffy. Just know it is a little messy to eat! Make sure you grab a fork + napkins. Service is quick and staff is kind and welcoming. I am looking forward to trying more delicious menu items! read more

I've been wanting to try this cafe for a while and I finally had the chance to go after spending a day at the Gardner museum. It's just a ten minute walk from there. I got an iced strawberry matcha and a chocolate filled pastry at Green Haus and both were phenomenal. The space is so beautiful and cozy and they even have plants for sale. I visited on a Saturday, so it was pretty busy but the wait time wasn't too bad! I can't wait to come back soon for breakfast! read more

A solid 4.5/5 and you know we always round up. This place is so cute. I want to live here or more like I want my place to look like this. So aesthetically pleasing. From the plants to the food, chef kiss. It's Vietnamese owned (I think) which is fab and we got some of the yummiest breakfast croissants here! Very buttery, flakey and delicious filings inside. We also try the matcha there (both regular and strawberry) and they were ok! (Not the best we've tried so we couldn't give this place a solid 5) but definitely a must stop if ur around mission hill. Not a very friendly greeting when I walked in. (Millennials). The atmosphere was chill and good music. My order was a total mess. I ordered the Loaded Breakfast Sandwich and it was so, so messy. I said no avocado and got a pool of guacamole. Mixed with a super wet scrambled egg with cheese (I think) it was a sight to behold by other patrons. Ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a latte on a Saturday around 11, which is a busy time. I was very lucky that there was a group leaving right after I ordered and was able to grab the seats, but definitely keep in mind that you are unlikely to be able to find a seat during the peak hours because the place is so small. The breakfast sandwich is honestly the reason that I'd come back. The scrambled eggs were done perfectly-- one of the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. The eggs were moist and soft, and perfectly cooked. The croissant was a little messy and kept falling apart, but was flaky and delicious as well. The latte was pretty average. It was comparable to a latte you'd get at any other coffee shop, nothing special. The vibes of the cafe are great with all of the plants and greenery, but I wish it was larger so it didn't get so crowded. If I were to go again, I would definitely aim for a slower time so the store isn't so cramped, busy, and loud. read more

Cute plant cafe but long wait times if there are more than 5 people ordering food. This is because there is only one person managing all the food orders and they have a small toaster oven (and they heat up everything, it looked like their meat inngredients are frozen) and can realistically work on 1-2 sandwiches at a time. I waited twenty minutes for my drink and another twenty minutes for my food. Given that all the tables were filled, half of them occupied by people who had finished their food but were just studying, it's not worth the wait in my opinion. I got a brown sugar milk tea, which was fine but paper straw made it hard to mix the brown sugar into the drink without it ripping. I also ordered a TLT and it really took too long for an average sandwich that could be made at home. Cafe has a nice ambiance and I love that it's Asian run. The fact that it's so busy attests to it's popularity. I would definitely want to come back when it is less busy or when I have more time on my hands to wait and browse. read more

Green Haus Cafe is a cute, aesthetic cafe on Tremont St in Boston. It's filled all over with plants, in which you can purchase along with an assortment of baked goods. It's a bakery place offering what many bakeries do. The pastries are sweet, and you get what you expect. A cute place for Instagram posts and to buy a pastry on the way to work. The staff was friendly and fulfilled the orders as expected. Such a cool space with beautiful plants, nice vibe and great outdoor space in the back. It's a shame it takes so long to get your food and drinks. And the single students occupy the 4 top tables with their computers that's it's difficult to get a table. If only management monitored the tables. My fully stuffed croissant sandwich was delicious but I'm not sure it was worth the 23 minute wait and it was missing the house sauce. I enjoyed the house coffee despite the grounds floating on top. Green Haus Cafe is so cute!! I got the TLT and tried the breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. Both were very good but I think I'd come back for the breakfast sandwich. I feel like I could make the TLT pretty easily at home but hey, that can be said for most sandwiches lol. The breakfast sandwich had eggs and cheese and you can add on meat but the eggs were cooked to perfection and it was very delicious. I also got a cappuccino with sugar free caramel syrup which was good too. The set up is very nice and perfect for studying - it was the perfect environment to crank out some anki cards. I am going to start with the pricing of this establishment. 2 loaded breakfast sandwiches with tots and it somehow was over $35. Then a tip was expected... I also felt violently out of place because the cafe was filled with bookworms and there was no music. As I took a bite out of my $75 loaded breakfast sandwich, the hash brown basically exploded. A poorly thought out design for the sandwich, cuz the eggs also went everywhere. It was a very good sandwich though, good portion I was in a food coma for 2 hours after finishing it. Great little study spot. They have delicious breakfast sandwiches and I love their lemon poppyseed muffins. A decent selection of GF options. The honey walnut spread for bagels has whole walnuts and a honey drizzle - super fresh. Would like to see a different bagel selection though as the one I got was dry (kind of like the fridge section bagels) The space is small, and can get crowded on weekends. Try to go early if you are wanting to sit down. Coffee is pretty standard. Their iced lattes are better than what you can get at Dunkin, but nothing that wows. Has outdoor seating in the back that I would imagine would be cute and quite to study at outside. read more

I didn't have the food at Green Haus, so I can't speak on that. But in terms of the coffee, it tasted burnt, the beans might've been over roasted. If you're planning on trying new coffee places and you appreciate the taste of coffee above anything else, then I don't recommend this place. read more

We ordered the pistachio latte and a dirty chai and both were excellent- ESPECIALLY the chai. The ambiance of this cafe is truly incredible. It feels like a peaceful oasis where you can be productive or have a fun hangout with friends. They sell the plants throughout the cafe and have even varied them based on the season. The service is also top tier. The staff is incredibly friendly. Today, one of the staff members helped me pick a plant that was low maintenance and cat safe. The plant was decorated with a tiny Santa hat for the holidays. They also have fresh flowers. Lastly, the drinks and food have been great so far. I have had several lattes and pastries (which they will warm up for you). They even made me an off-menu drink which was fantastic. I have not yet ordered from the food menu, but I plan to since I have already become a regular. Overall, this may be my new favorite cafe in Boston. Not gonna lie I was scared this was going to be one of those places whose whole appeal is the ambience and not the actual stuff they sell, but my lavender latte was rich and cozy. Also huge plus, the music they play! Some cafes bump pop music which is such a mood killer but this had smooth jazzy piano not crowded or noisy (I did go mid-day on a Thursday tho so it may get more hectic) The one thing I'd say to pass on is their bagels. I wish I had better things to say about this cafe - it has a lot of potential, but is very poorly organized. Coffee took 15 mins to come out , and I think part of that is attributed to a cluttered and poorly placed barista station behind the counter placing the register basically on top of the barista. Coffee quality is middle of the pack, nothing special. In terms of seating arrangement, they do an okay job laying out tables along the side but with the massive centerpiece of plants and other items for purchase, it leaves anyone who doesn't get a table standing in a purgatory and no one knows where the line is. Food, however, was really good. Excellent little menu and the food came out relatively quickly. I think with some help from a project manager to redesign their back counter and spacing, this place could be great. read more

Super cute café with much fresher air than your average Boston building. (Shoutout to the plants for doing the lord's work.) I wish all places had this many plants. Since I live in the area, I've gone a bunch of times. My roommates and I love it. Staff are consistently efficient and kind, and the pastries are fantastic. This is such a cute cafe with amazing food and a cozy ambiance! I love the no tech policy on the weekend, allowing for reconnection with people you are with. I got the egg sandwich on a croissant with garlic aioli, and it was amazing! The chai latte and hot chocolate are also so delicious and creamy. This cafe is not friendly for those who are visiting by themselves. I went on a Sunday to get a pastry, coffee, and observe my virtual church service. Our book club decided to meet here for a quick lunch - ended up staying 3 hours. All the beautiful green plants cheered me up. The staff was so sweet and clearly committed to helping the customers have a great time - and we did. The food was great and the coffee was even better. AND it was affordable! My sister and I got lunch, coffees and ice teas for less than $40. They also sell plants - I'm so glad we discovered this place. I love that they have "unplugged weekends" (no laptops). One of their baristas didn't put the lid on properly and hot coffee spilled all over my hand. No employee came to help clean it up. I asked for a bag of ice to cool the burn and they took over 5 minutes to get it and then put the ice in a cup so I couldn't actually ice my hand. To top it off, they didn't even give me my drink for free or a gift card for their mistake. Terrible customer service . read more
