    Meat Lover's Omelet
    Elissa P.

Food was excellent as usual and very fast! The meat lover omelette is a go to and the build your own omelette that was delicious too. Cocktails on point, there were seasonal drinks too. One host seated us as I had a reservation and another of host was rude like I have a group coming and I need 'this' table... I believe one shouldn't give attitude to customers maybe communication with other hosts/peers so that the team is all on the same page. So that started the morning off a bit strange... [[HIGHLIGHT]]it is a small establishment, tight spaces, reservations recommended.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We looked for a place to have a late breakfast before the days adventures and decided to get a reservation the day before to give them a try. The restaurant was busy but not crazy like during a weekend. We sat right away and everyone from the host to our server were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is small (as with most cities with small places) but we did not mind. As for food we ordered the scrambled and cheddar on a croissant, 2 eggs with turkey sausage, mixed greens (extra) and a pancake (extra), latte (they only have regular milk) and a regular coffee. We did not get to try their complimentary piece of banana bread, but the food was fresh, made to order, flavorful and a good portion. Definitely give them a try for a good breakfast in Boston!

    CALIFORNIA OMELET

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place draws a very large crowd, and I was excited to finally try the food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the California omelet with home fries and a cinnamon roll pancake. The dishes were flavorful, but some of the flavors overpowered other components of the meal, so I would try different items next time. I also tasted the loaded potato omelet and the Chunky Monkey pancake. I thoroughly enjoyed both of those. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was fast, but one downside was the number of gnats flying around the restaurant, which was off-putting and definitely affected my overall impression.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The restaurant is very small, so I highly recommend making a reservation if you plan to visit.

So we had a couple people recommend this place and so we gave it a try. As I walked inside I realize that I had been here before, just 8 years ago! I remember the service was fast and the food was unreal and boy have they not lost their charm. The service was extremely fast and the food was in another level. This place has something for everyone and the food is so filling and fresh! It's a must

    Banana bourbon French toast

My husband and I had a great breakfast here today. We shared the Boston cream pancakes and the banana bourbon French toast-both of which were rich and sweet, in the best way. We probably could have just eaten the top pancake with all the toppings and ignored the two underneath it, but I don't know if you can get that one as a single pancake (other flavors you could). We ate at the bar, and the server was so friendly and nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a tiny place with some tables and a bar counter, so get there early if it's a weekend and you don't want to wait long.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Burrata avocado toast. Get this!!!

Delicious and reasonably priced. The burrata avocado toast was amazing! It was larger than I thought it would be, it filled me up by itself. The corned beef hash was also delicious - nice and crispy outside. My husband had the North Street Special which was a ridiculous amount of food for $25. Great service - friendly and attentive staff. We went on a Tuesday morning right when they opened and there was no wait, but I looks like this small shop will fill up fast.

    Sugar and Carb heaven!

The north Street Grill is branded as the best brunch in Boston. In fact, they have the domain name bestbrunchboston.com! They offer all the classic breakfast and brunch comfort foods, but with their own flavor flare: blueberry cobbler pancakes; banana bourbon, French toast; lobster Benedict. I've eaten here three times and had fabulous food at each. The places quite small, with maybe a dozen tables and half a dozen seats at the bar. The staff is casual and attentive. The atmosphere is a little loud, due to the small space, touching the neighboring table about a foot from yours. (this is the only reason I had to take away 1 star.) THE DEAL: if you want a unique twist on classic crunch, favorites, or simply the best brunch in Boston, come to the North Street Grill!

Yum! Tucked into a small dining room North Street Grille is serving really tasty brunch to as many folks as they can fit in the room. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A little cramped in space but not in flavor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Boursin in the California omelet was a relevation and the home fries are not to be skipped (although my subbed salad was delicious). Great brunch option, easy laidback service.

French toast and grilled cheese bites

Such a great local for a dress! A huge man for everything you've ever ask for. The staff and servers were great. It's a little tight but very cozy. And probably a waitlist if you go during prime hour. Highly recommend the spot, food was 10 out of 10.

Delicious Eggs potatoes and turkey sausage with banana bourbon French toast

Backstory to help explain the significance of the fact that I didn't get coffee with my meal here...I drink buckets a day...I must have coffee, as a necessity. The scrambled eggs were perfectly done, not runny or gooey like other places. The potatoes perfectly seasoned and slightly crunchy out and soft inside. The Banana bourbon French toast...Is the best breakfast food I've ever had and I eat out frequently. I literally scraped my plate clean. I would have done the same with my eggs, potatoes and Turkey sausage but I couldn't eat another bite. I wish we had a North Street Grille here but perhaps it's better that I not have easy access to the quality of food otherwise I'd need a new bigger size wardrobe. If in Boston this is an ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE. If we had room and weren't leaving town the same night we'd have bought the banana bread. They provide complementary for each table and it's one of the bestest most beautifully made banana breads I've had. Service was fast and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cute and quaint little place packed to gills with people which is fine because everyone is friendly and the food is divine!!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Mac n cheese
    AJ L.

Came here for brunch and had a pleasant experience. The place is small, so expect a wait. My group was 7 and it was about a 45 minute wait. Our server was very attentive and very friendly. We got a few items and the standouts were the Mac n cheese and the banana burbon French toast special. Everything was well cooked and flavorful. This place is very popular apparently and for good reason. Would absolutely recommend and come back.

    D CHICKEN & WAFFLE SLIDERS
    jayce p.

The food and service were both amazing. They have a very creative food and drink menu along with your classic breakfast/brunch staples. There wasn't a single thing we tried we didn't love. The banana bourbon French toast is a must it was absolutely amazing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]On weekends I would grab a reservation it's a smaller dining area but definitely worth the wait.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    D SWEET & SALTY SANDWICH
    Rachel R.

I stopped in this morning (Saturday) with my husband around 10am without a reservation. Located in a small storefront, the restaurant was packed. We were quoted a 25 minute wait. Once we were seated we had great service by John. We ordered and split the sweet and salty sandwich and the chicken and waffle sliders. Both were delicious and I'm glad we opted to split. Portions were generous and everything arrived piping hot. 10/10 experience and based on the line that was continuous others thought so too!

Do they having dedicated parking or valet? Thanks!

It's all street parking. Recommend to park in a nearby parking garage and walk over.

    Do they do takeout?

They have take out so you're in luck! I asked while I was eating brunch this morning. Call in any day of the week they are open. This is super convenient because they get quite busy. Especially on the weekend.

From start to finish, we had an amazing experience here. We ate here on Sunday. They open at 11:30am. We got in line around 11:00 am, and there were already dozens of people waiting in line for them to open . Around opening time, the owner came out and personally greeted everyone as they came into the restaurant. He was so friendly. He greeted passers-by on the street and talked with the locals. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. They provided recommendations and offered suggestions. We sat at a window table and were able to see out at the boats. It was cute and quaint inside! I got a cup of the clam chowder. I 100% recommend it! They add dill and omit the pork, which made it so delicious! My friend and I split the fish and chips, and it was more than enough for two people. The fish was cooked perfectly and the fries (chips) were crispy without being too crunchy. We added a bit of pepper to our fish, and my goodness does that make a difference. If you visit Boston, want an awesome local establishment with delicious food and overly friendly staff, this is the place for you. This was my third visit to Boston and I'm so sad I didn't know about it sooner. It's a MUST.

The clam chowder was tasty but the Cajun Popcorn Shrimp was just average. Lobster was well prepared but halibut was slightly overcooked and mashed potatoes were bland. Maybe I'm too old, but fine dining should involve that refinement. Stop calling yourself fine dining and call it expensive food with uppity servers and no dress code. Food was amazing- so please know I would absolutely go back for the food! We had lobster bisque, the best Caesar salad (top 5), calm chowder, shrimp and clams, lamb and a fillet. During our meal just after the lovely table side service of the lobster bisque my son accidentally moved the table with his feet and the drinks flew into my food. Our server watched it happen and walked away. She turned not to help but out of disgust walked the other way! The food runner came to the rescue! But then we were charged for another drink that spilled! I don't know but when your at fine dining and you get double charged for a table moving and treated like you are an inconvenience that gets me. Plus she was clearly angry with us. Food 5 stars, service 2, price for the service we received totally not worth it. Don't waste your money to get treated badly. Sorry kitchen but front of the house ruined it.
