Went for my b'day the other day because I saw it was new & I called & they said they had indoor seating. We got there & it was a typical take out w/2 tables. I complained & the guy was extremely apologetic, so we decided to do take out because the reviews were excellent. The food was delicious! We got awesome bang bang shrimp for appetizers. My husband got chicken w/snow peas & I got Kung Pao shrimp. All were fresh & amazing! We were pleasantly surprised that the guy comped us w/creamy crab rangoons & wrote Happy Birthday on the box! Saw reviews and was looking to try a new (and hopefully better) Chinese restaurant in the area. We have a bunch of ok or good ones around but none that are great. This one overall is better than most. We got a bunch of small dishes and most everything was good or very good. I thought the egg rolls were not as good as others and chicken with cashew was bland. Everything else (chicken with garlic sauce, boneless spare ribs, hunan pork and some others) were all top notch. I recommend this place and definitely will go back. read more

I recently moved to the area. Loving Chinese food I found two choices. I tried the competitor first and found it very ordinary, typical takeout. I'm not saying it was terrible... my next venture out for Chinese was Green Heaven. The staff is very friendly, polite and very open to feedback. The chef does a fantastic job at cooking good clean fresh tasting food. (For lack of better words.) you just need to try it for yourself.!! They also deliver!!! This is one of those little gems that needs to be discovered. We drove from Brewster to this place, nice and simple, but the food was one of the best Chinese food I ever had. Just did take out and were very pleased from ordering to eating. We did online ordering which could not have been easier. We received text and email updates and our order was ready in the time estimated. Pick-up was super easy and safe, doors were propped open and plastic screening was in place for a contactless experience. Food was delightful and lighter than other Chinese takeout we've had. Would definitely recommend the homemade duck sauce which paired well with egg rolls, rice and crispy fried noodles (best we've had in a long time). This time we tried some of our staples - teriyaki beef stick, boneless spare ribs, sweet and sour chicken (sauce could have been slightly thicker), lo mein and chicken with string We will be back soon and this will now be our go to Chinese take out. Quick update Sept 2nd - another delicious meal. Wonton soup and hot noodles with peanut sauce really good. Sweet and sour sauce was perfection this time too!! And would highly highly recommend the homemade duck sauce for the crispy noodles soooo much better than the packaged sauce. read more

This is our go to Chinese place, and it's our post-swim class tradition to get green heaven on the way home (except now they are closed on Wednesdays - maybe just for winter?) I really love the flavors of their dishes without being greasy, their vegetables are always fresh tasting and a nice mix with lots of baby corn, and their general tsao's is not heavily breaded. 4 stars because it's not always so great - there's a slight consistency issue - maybe it's from off days when the owner is not cooking? Don't judge a book by its cover. I drove by this small 5 storefront strip mall a hundred times and never thought about stopping. Covid had us stir crazy for good Chinese food. Green Heaven more than satisfied. Fresh and delicious. I told them we had a nut allergy and they assured me nothing that I was ordering had nuts, but then also said they would make sure they cleaned the wok before cooking our food. Lo Mein and chow fun were perfect. Sizzling shrimp had great flavor. Pot stickers and hot sour soup delivered. This is the ideal Chinese and Asian food take out joint. I LOVE the food and the lovely people that work here. Owners are fantastic and really care about serving good food fresh. I'm never disappointed for lunch or dinner. The egg foo young is exceptional. The standard fare of chicken with broccoli or shrimp lo mein are some of our family favorites. I really love that I can special order certain dishes to customize what I want with or without certain ingredients ( I don't eat peppers). The seafood is fresh and carefully prepared so it's not over cooked. I love this place. The owner always has interesting tidbits of local news to share and this great little restaurant caters to my feelings of nostalgia of the good ol days when everyone knew you by name and loved to serve hot delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. They have edamame!! My favorite lunch. I will be going there often now. I think a little boy was working at the counter so I hope they dont get in trouble. But I appreciate hard work and everyone is very nice. I will get lunch there every weekend if they always have edamame. These guys just opened. It's definitely different than the previous Chinese takeout that was at this location. I heard the chef came from Toro in Carmel which is pan-Asian with some Thai and Japanese fare. They've brought some of that to Green Heaven as well. Many favorite Chinese dishes as well as some Japanese tempura style items too. The food was solid. Great dumplings. Kids loved their sesame chicken. Wife's chicken teriyaki was a bit rubbery which is why I'm scoring 4 out of five. Keep it going guys. Best of luck. read more
