When we got home to eat it about 5 minutes later, the fries were cold. My turkey had hard spots along the edges, like it had been microwaved. The BBQ sandwiches looked old. The bread was soggy and the pickles and onion were sunk into them. The best part was the apple pie and brownies. So, if you're looking for dessert, this might be your place. Three employees at the pick up area, and none brought our food. Could have been a small gesture that means a lot to parents. Ok, again, no big deal- that was just an observation. What really tipped us over was when one of the employees turned off the lights JUST on our side of the restaurant at 2:20pm when we had just started eating. It's already dark in this place with the lights on. She came by and said "you can leave everything there and we'll come get it when you're done" I asked her if the lights were going to stay off and she said "yeah that's what we do when start to close, but don't rush" No smile and said it as she walked away. Don't rush?! You just turned off the lights on our side of the room. You clearly want us out. We were a party of 15 Guests and were there for a gathering of monthly Birthday celebrations of four Corpus Christi area Friends! We were greeted with a smile and seated promptly as an area was reserved for our party of 15. Our Waitress was "Ashley"! Ashley had a great attitude and was super in every aspect of her job and with everything she did. As with anything in life, her ability to effectively communicate with her Customers was Stellar. She had minor assistance from other servers and for the most part she handled our party by herself and continued to provide service to other large parties in the same room. WOW! She took our orders in a calm and effective manner and remembered all the tiny details that any table could impose on "Wait" Staff.
