The food is great. Love the plates, brisket and sausage or brisket. In ribs, it's all good beans. Need some work.

Food was good just took a while to get it. Also took a bit to order. Guy at the counter was nice.

The brisket was awesome as were the other meats that we tried. This place is sort of a hidden gem !! If you are in the area I highly recommend. read more

Food was excellent. Generous helpings. Very busy. About 8 tables for seating. Clean. Brisket is moist and flavorful. Potato salad and beans had good flavor. My daughter had the fries with brisket and cheese which were delicious. read more

Really good brisket for a very reasonable price! The restaurant is tucked away but worth looking for. We'll be back!

First of all they give zero military discounts. I was not pleased with the servers attitude when I asked about the discounts....he scoffed at me...mf! The food is trash too...never again!! read more

My son turned me on to this place it is very good but you will need to be ready to take it to go there is not a lot of seating

Service is great, I ordered the brisket baked potato. It was great and the price is not bad at all for the size, highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Great BBQ and prices are very good. Service was excellent as well. Their sides are great also.

A little BBQ shack that treats meat right. They season to bring out natural flavors without overpowering it with spices. The smoke flavor is perfect and the meat is moist. I had to leave a review because it was amazing. - The prices are right too! Good local small business!!! read more

A stop at Up In Smoke is worth a little detour off of US 77 in Robbstown. We had the loaded potato with brisket and a brisket and rib plate. The potato was huge, and they weren't stingy with the brisket. The meat was tender and flavorful with a nice amount of smoke. The sides were great too, Up In Smoke isn't fancy- picnic table seating and styrofoam service, but the food does not disappoint! read more

First time at Up In Smoke. A throwback to a simpler time. I had the #1 which was recommended by an old timer ahead of me. A brisket sandwich, chips and a drink. The beef was excellent, not too dry and not moist, just right. Primarily a to-go place, hence only 5 tables. The pit was still lit and smoking. The place is near downtown Robstown but the freeways now bypass it, so it feels like it's a little detour to get there if you're traveling in the area. read more

The food was so delicious! Two of us had the three meat special and two of us had the brisket potato. All of it was so tasty and the meats cooked to perfection! The people were so attentive as well! Next time we pass through town, we will sure hit this place! read more

UP IN SMOKE B-B-Q - #6 Brisket Plate with Rib - Barbeque Near Me - Robstown, Texas

One of the best bbq places in this area. The baked potato with toppings is delicious. Great prices and quick service.

Man what can I say, this place is awesome. I got the #7, all the meats were cooked perfectly with and awesome taste to it. Everything was perfectly smoked. This is a must stop place in Robstown read more

On our way to San Antonio Airport to head back to Cleveland, Ohio we can upon a Robstown, TX BBQ called "Up in Smoke B-B-Q." We ordered a BRISKET SANDWICH and a BRISKET & RIB meal. We had POLITE SERVICE and EXCELLENT FOOD! We can not say enough about the meal. The Rib was the best Rib we ever had... perfect smoke, meaty, fell off the bone, melt in your mouth. The Beef Brisket sandwich melted in our mouth also. While sitting at the picnic table under shelter it was obvious this bbq was loved by the locals. A couple of people were ordering their Easter meals for the future, full briskets. I so wish we had this establishment in Cleveland, Ohio. If I could give it more then 5 stars I would! BTW, they accepted cash and credit cards. read more

Brisket, sausage and Ribs perfectly cooked, not too much smoke. Do let the storefront fool you, they have indoor seating.

The food was delicious! The brisket was moist and great flavor. Very friendly service!

Certainly nothing to look at but the bbq is awesome. Prices are really reasonable. I got the brisket sandwich with chips and soda for $10. I need to go back to try everything else. read more

Stumbled upon this place during a road trip. I was a little skeptical while driving to it, but once I saw it I knew it was going to be good. I ordered the brisket plate and was thoroughly impressed. I only wish I ordered more of a variety of meats as I'm certain they would have been to die for. read more

Not the best I ever had but when you're wanting bbq in a small town as this it is decent. Tried them twice and would go back again.

The brisket & ribs at this place was amazing!!! Very juicy and flavorful. My mom ordered a 3 meat plate and wasn't a fan of the sausage. The sides could use a revamp as well. We got rice and beans as our sides. We were going to try the turkey leg, but they were sold out by the time we made it, so I'm sure that must be another fan favorite. I would visit again for the brisket. read more

Me and my family are hooked on Up in smoke . Chopped beef is our favorite, but we also get their brisket nachos and brisket fries. Love this place read more

This place is really good. Three of us had the Brisket sandwich, which was awesome. My husband had the brisket plate with ribs. The brisket was again, really awesome. The ribs were also awesome... we are talking about fall off the bone succulent,, but the sides were just okay. One of us had the pulled pork po-boy, and he said it was also 5*. The negatives were that this place is not really geared to be a restaurant, but a take out place. They have two picnic tables, which are in an enclosed space with a fan, but no air conditioning, so it wasn't ideal in 100 degree heat. read more

Everything I ordered was delicious.. The food was hot and very well presented and it tasted like bbq should.. my choice as always for me is nachos with brisket... read more

Soo many positive things to say about this place service was great and so was the food and prices!!!
