    Iced Carrot Cake Latte
    Alyssa F.

ABSOLUTELY recommend the carrot cake latte. The cold foam was chefs kiss. Tasted exactly like carrot cake. This cafe had plenty of seating but many spots were filled with people on their computers. But I can see why! It was so homey feeling, I especially loved the touch of the fresh flowers on the tables and the plants. Staff were friendly and the service was quick!

It's 1:30 and I'm still buzzing from my coffee at Green Kettle ...that's how good it was. Honestly, I wasn't expecting to be this impressed, but from the very first sip, I knew it was going to be a five-star experience. I ordered the tiramisu flavored coffee (never seen that anywhere before!) and it was fantastic. Smooth, rich, and balanced. I also loved that they give you a choice between medium roast and dark roast ; little touches like that make a big difference. Inside, the vibe is very white and bright. I could see why a few people were happily camped out with laptops, soaking in the natural light. Parking looked like mostly on street, but it worked out fine. I parked down the block and had a nice walk in the sunshine. Can't complain about that. Service was wonderful. The two girls at the front desk were super kind and welcoming. I didn't grab food this time, but the menu looked great . I'll definitely be back to try more. Pro tip: If you're a flavored coffee fan, don't miss the tiramisu!

This was my first time trying Green Kettle. I brought along my sister, nephew and niece. We shared a flight which was alot of fun. The staff was very friendly. All of us thought our table number to have our flight bright to us was too cute‼ We had fun going around the table and picking a drink to try and sharing our opinion. It was a nice afternoon!

Recently stopped by here again with a friend and tried their Halloween flight - so good! The flavors were unique but all worked well together. Service was quick and friendly like the last time I was there.

THE BEST coffee I've had on the Northeast - I usually get a cappuccino or iced latte with one of their signature homemade syrups in the summer and it just hits the spot every time. Green Kettle uses the most high quality beans and you can tell! Staff is incredibly kind, and the space is so comfortable for working or meeting up with friends. If you haven't been yet, this is your sign to check it out, you won't be disappointed by the quality of coffee, food, and vibes!

Such a cute spot with creative flavors and great service! I appreciated having the parking lot in the back, and there was seating inside.

The Green Kettle is a great indpendantly owned coffee shop in downtown Wallingford and a "must stop" when ever I am in the area. Whether you are interested in a classic coffee drink or one of their seasonal rotating flavors - they have you covered. They also sell some baked goods and there is space to meet up with friends or pop down to get some work (school or otherwise) done. I welcome addition to the downtown area for those looking to get their caffaie fix

A visit to Wallingford without stopping into GKC just wouldn't feel right. I love their fresh cookie baked latte but in the spooky spirit, I tried the Beetlejuice matcha from their seasonal menu. It's a lavender matcha with ube condensed milk. I loved the subtle sweetness from the condensed milk but I would've liked a bit more ice in my drink so it was fully cold. This is a great spot to get work done. Even when it's busy, the shop still seems pretty quiet. Well-lit and the green is just so relaxing. Definitely a good vibe.

I give 3.5 stars for this cute local business. I definitely recommend giving it a try, and it was very busy when we went a few weeks ago. They have a lot of seasonal drinks that are fun. Drinks are pricey but a fun treat. Many people were sitting inside chatting or doing work. Only thing that was off-putting was one of the baristas that was very rude and condescending to another customer who asked the barista to clarify which drink on the counter was hers. The other two staff working were very nice.

We ordered the Carrie cold brew iced coffee with cherry vanilla cold foam. Very delicious The atmosphere was very chic and reminded me of walking into the 70's bathroom with their decor style. Very relaxed and laid back. We came on a Wednesday, so there was plenty of on street parking and the coffee shop was quiet with my order quickly made They have many coffee options, a few pastries and bagged coffee to bring home. 7 tables to sit at with a comfortable window seat

#18 in my NEW ENGLAND & NY COFFEE SHOP SERIES If you're looking for a coffee flight place, this is one of the places in CT you have to check out! They have seasonal flights all year round and change them every few months. However, if you don't want to try all of them, you can get just one of them in a normal size! When we came this time, they were having their Spring Flight. I think next time, I would get the flights without ice because they all tasted pretty watered down. Because of that, this review is one star less. I also got an iced vanilla latte which was great! They have this cool latte art machine where you can print any image you want on the top for an extra $1. It was super cool! The service was good, and the pastries were mid. They have a few tables inside of people also wanted to study or get some work done. Overall, I would only come back if they have a flight I really, really wanted to try.

Green Kettle had some exciting new summer menu items, so I had to stop in. The service is great, and the baristas are super friendly. You could have the drinks made to enjoy there or to go. My mom tried the s'mores latte which was delicious, and I enjoyed the Affogato. It is never too early in the day to have some vanilla ice cream. They also serve fresh pastries from Kouign, a local bakery, which I highly recommend. Plenty of seating inside with free wifi.

"Hear the trumpets, hear the pipers. One hundred million angels singin'. Multitudes are marching to the big kettle drum" (Johnny Cash) Green Kettle Coffee is a very cool neighborhood institution smack in the center of Wallingford's Central Business District. As we visited today, we saw plenty of loyal and local customers grabbing "to go" orders, I saw one customer working feverishly on his laptop and two work meetings going on around us. The space is very pretty with black, green and gold balloons and a cool paint job of four different shades of green, arranged in horizontal stripes. The dining room is cozy with 6 tables and a few living room chairs for lounging. I'd say Green Kettle can seat 20 or so customers all together. The customer service and ambiance are top notch, starting with their welcoming barista and extending into their classical music of piano concertos. They sell plenty of varieties of coffees, hot and cold foams, hot and iced drinks, pour-overs, lattes and more. One fantastic feature they have is an imprinting gizmo that through the magic of a QR code can transmit a photo from your phone onto your foam drink! In the mood for something to eat with your coffee? No worries, they sell scones, Danishes, croissants and more. We paid $7.51 for an excellent small coffee and a cinnamon chai scone. The scone had a drizzle of vanilla icing on top and had a mild and very delicious flavor. Everything about our visit to the Green Kettle was top notch.

Onto the drinks and food which were so delicious and truly enjoyable. I got the Beachy Bee Iced Latte special, which is a honey vanilla latte with a coconut cold foam and toasted coconut on top (simply divine)! My fiancé got the cappuccino which was made just to his liking, and he's a coffee connoisseur. For food, I had the Bumble, which I highly recommend, with scrambled eggs, subbed with the gluten free sourdough bread (+$2 up-charge) and cheddar instead of American cheese. It's served all day and had so much flavor with that garlic butter, and the seasoned steak. Yum! If you are gluten free like me, you will appreciate that they have the gluten free sourdough bread or a gluten free wrap to substitute with. My partner had the Basic Bee with bacon and thought it was flavorful with light and fluffy scrambled eggs that complimented the bacon well. Overall, I would really recommend this place if you're looking for a breakfast or lunch in Wallingford!

I normally try to give places the benefit of the doubt, but our experience at The Bees Knees Bistro…read morein Wallingford was honestly very disappointing and upsetting. My family and I arrived while it was raining outside with our young daughters in strollers, expecting to sit down for a meal and get out of the weather. Instead, we were told we could not come in with the strollers and essentially felt unwelcome the moment we walked through the door. As parents of babies who are still too young to sit safely in high chairs on their own, the strollers are not optional for us , they are necessary. We were not being disruptive, rude, or inconsiderate. We were simply trying to have a meal as a family. Rather than attempting to accommodate us or show any understanding, we were left feeling like having children made us an inconvenience. What made the situation even worse was the fact that it was pouring outside. Any level of kindness or flexibility would have gone a long way. Instead, we felt embarrassed, frustrated, and honestly shocked by the lack of compassion and customer service. Families with young children already face enough challenges going out in public, and experiences like this make it even harder. We ended up leaving and taking our business somewhere else that was far more welcoming and understanding toward families. It is disappointing because we were genuinely looking forward to trying this restaurant, but first impressions matter. A restaurant does not need to be "kid-centered" to still treat parents and babies with basic respect and decency. I completely understand that restaurants may have space limitations or policies, but there is a respectful and compassionate way to handle situations like this. Instead, the experience came across as cold and dismissive. There are many restaurants in the area that are happy to accommodate families, and moving forward those are the businesses I will continue to support. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning and would not recommend this restaurant to families with infants or children who still require strollers or extra accommodations. I wont be going back and giving them .you business, nor will I be recommending this place to anyone. Totally rude and discrimination towards those with babies. I did not feel cherished like their website says every guest is. Its sad because this will and im sure does effect their business. I will never give them my business after yesterday. No attempts at accommodating us or evening offering to let us sit outside, lazy staff, but yet there were 3 teenage girls taking names for the wait list. What a joke.

The owner is absolutely incredible -- talented, dedicated, and genuinely one of the most hardworking people in this industry. She opened her café during COVID at a young age and built it from the ground up through pure passion, grit, and love for her community. That alone deserves recognition. The selection is always thoughtful and creative, and the specials are phenomenal. She makes all her syrups by hand and sources gluten-free items in-house, which takes so much time and intention but shows how deeply she cares about quality and inclusivity. You can taste the effort in every single drink. Crossroads is a place built on heart, and the coffee community is extremely proud of her. She does not get enough credit for everything she's accomplished and everything she continues to pour into her space. If you want to support a café run by a genuine human being who truly loves what she does, this is the place. Highly recommended -- not just for the coffee, but for the person behind it.

Friendly service at the counter, few tables inside to lounge at. My wife and I frequent the Last Drop in Monroe and this is ultra comparable.
