ABSOLUTELY recommend the carrot cake latte. The cold foam was chefs kiss. Tasted exactly like carrot cake. This cafe had plenty of seating but many spots were filled with people on their computers. But I can see why! It was so homey feeling, I especially loved the touch of the fresh flowers on the tables and the plants. Staff were friendly and the service was quick!
It's 1:30 and I'm still buzzing from my coffee at Green Kettle ...that's how good it was. Honestly, I wasn't expecting to be this impressed, but from the very first sip, I knew it was going to be a five-star experience. I ordered the tiramisu flavored coffee (never seen that anywhere before!) and it was fantastic. Smooth, rich, and balanced. I also loved that they give you a choice between medium roast and dark roast ; little touches like that make a big difference. Inside, the vibe is very white and bright. I could see why a few people were happily camped out with laptops, soaking in the natural light. Parking looked like mostly on street, but it worked out fine. I parked down the block and had a nice walk in the sunshine. Can't complain about that. Service was wonderful. The two girls at the front desk were super kind and welcoming. I didn't grab food this time, but the menu looked great . I'll definitely be back to try more. Pro tip: If you're a flavored coffee fan, don't miss the tiramisu!
This was my first time trying Green Kettle. I brought along my sister, nephew and niece. We shared a flight which was alot of fun. The staff was very friendly. All of us thought our table number to have our flight bright to us was too cute‼ We had fun going around the table and picking a drink to try and sharing our opinion. It was a nice afternoon!
Recently stopped by here again with a friend and tried their Halloween flight - so good! The flavors were unique but all worked well together. Service was quick and friendly like the last time I was there.
The Green Kettle is a great indpendantly owned coffee shop in downtown Wallingford and a "must stop" when ever I am in the area. Whether you are interested in a classic coffee drink or one of their seasonal rotating flavors - they have you covered. They also sell some baked goods and there is space to meet up with friends or pop down to get some work (school or otherwise) done. I welcome addition to the downtown area for those looking to get their caffaie fix
A visit to Wallingford without stopping into GKC just wouldn't feel right. I love their fresh cookie baked latte but in the spooky spirit, I tried the Beetlejuice matcha from their seasonal menu. It's a lavender matcha with ube condensed milk. I loved the subtle sweetness from the condensed milk but I would've liked a bit more ice in my drink so it was fully cold. This is a great spot to get work done. Even when it's busy, the shop still seems pretty quiet. Well-lit and the green is just so relaxing. Definitely a good vibe.
THE BEST coffee I've had on the Northeast - I usually get a cappuccino or iced latte with one of their signature homemade syrups in the summer and it just hits the spot every time. Green Kettle uses the most high quality beans and you can tell! Staff is incredibly kind, and the space is so comfortable for working or meeting up with friends. If you haven't been yet, this is your sign to check it out, you won't be disappointed by the quality of coffee, food, and vibes!
We ordered the Carrie cold brew iced coffee with cherry vanilla cold foam. Very delicious The atmosphere was very chic and reminded me of walking into the 70's bathroom with their decor style. Very relaxed and laid back. We came on a Wednesday, so there was plenty of on street parking and the coffee shop was quiet with my order quickly made They have many coffee options, a few pastries and bagged coffee to bring home. 7 tables to sit at with a comfortable window seat
I give 3.5 stars for this cute local business. I definitely recommend giving it a try, and it was very busy when we went a few weeks ago. They have a lot of seasonal drinks that are fun. Drinks are pricey but a fun treat. Many people were sitting inside chatting or doing work. Only thing that was off-putting was one of the baristas that was very rude and condescending to another customer who asked the barista to clarify which drink on the counter was hers. The other two staff working were very nice.

They have seasonal flights all year round and change them every few months. However, if you don't want to try all of them, you can get just one of them in a normal size! When we came this time, they were having their Spring Flight. I think next time, I would get the flights without ice because they all tasted pretty watered down. Because of that, this review is one star less. I also got an iced vanilla latte which was great! They have this cool latte art machine where you can print any image you want on the top for an extra $1. It was super cool! The service was good, and the pastries were mid. They have a few tables inside of people also wanted to study or get some work done. Overall, I would only come back if they have a flight I really, really wanted to try.

As we visited today, we saw plenty of loyal and local customers grabbing "to go" orders, I saw one customer working feverishly on his laptop and two work meetings going on around us. The space is very pretty with black, green and gold balloons and a cool paint job of four different shades of green, arranged in horizontal stripes. The dining room is cozy with 6 tables and a few living room chairs for lounging. I'd say Green Kettle can seat 20 or so customers all together. The customer service and ambiance are top notch, starting with their welcoming barista and extending into their classical music of piano concertos. They sell plenty of varieties of coffees, hot and cold foams, hot and iced drinks, pour-overs, lattes and more. One fantastic feature they have is an imprinting gizmo that through the magic of a QR code can transmit a photo from your phone onto your foam drink! In the mood for something to eat with your coffee? No worries, they sell scones, Danishes, croissants and more. We paid $7.51 for an excellent small coffee and a cinnamon chai scone. The scone had a drizzle of vanilla icing on top and had a mild and very delicious flavor. Everything about our visit to the Green Kettle was top notch.
The service is attentive here. The espresso is made well! They have lots of gluten free options for snacks or breakfast items, like the overnight oats or energy bites. I had the carrot cake inspired overnight oats and I liked that they weren't sweet, but did notice a complete lack of raisins which were listed on the ingredient list and would have elevated the flavor. I would definitely go back and try more items! read more
I have now visited Green Kettle five times, and tried a different latte each time. It has only further solidified itself as an extremely special place for me. It's such a pleasant environment to be in while you're there, everyone is always super nice, and the drinks are top tier. Flavor forward, carefully crafted, and done with delicious house made syrups. Today I tried my first chai latte: their banana bread dirty chai. The flavors all worked beautifully together. I had the honey rosemary latte twice, but once with pecan cold foam, both delicious. That syrup may have been my favorite. If not that one, it would be their tea time latte with earl grey syrup. The coconut strawberry latte was also wonderful, both syrups playing well off of each other. I love everything about this place, if that wasn't clear! read more

What an adorable spot! Everyone here was very friendly even when it got busy they were helpful to everyone who was ordering. I loved the variety of flavors they had to offer. I love supporting a local coffee shops! I ordered a latte with almond milk with shot of vanilla. The coffee was hot and del ious. My friend ordered a coffee flight and we shared it. This was so fun! I liked the added touch of it being served in a kettle, honestly it's the little touches like this. I believe the flights will vary per month but my two favorites were fresh baked latte and drink me iced latte. If I'm ever in this town again this is where you will find me for a cup of coffee. read more

Came with a group of girls the Sunday after seeing posts on social media about the Valentine's Day Flight. It was PACKED when we came around 12. Though the space isn't the largest, there are still plenty of tables and we were lucky enough to grab the last one. I've had flights before, but I've never seen any places offer chocolates to pair. Since it was the last day to get this flight, they were out of the chocolates and there were some substitutions in drink flavors. I'm not the biggest fan of coffee, but I absolutely loved these drinks. The only one I wasn't crazy about was the orange mocha, but I'm just not a huge orange fan so that's not their fault. I especially loved the rose chai and the marshmallow flavor in the hot chocolate and whipped cream. I also ended up getting a chai to go, and though it was not the best chai I've ever had, it was still pretty solid. There is only a small case of baked goods with around 6 options at any given time. I got an orange honey cupcake, and I enjoyed the flavor a lot. The cupcake, itself, was a little dense, but it was still enjoyable. I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely be coming back! read more

I love coming to Green Kettle Coffee to try their seasonal drinks. They have many seasonal and holiday menus throughout the year. I highly suggest following them on Facebook or Instagram to stay up to date. These drinks range from hot chocolate, lattes, cold brews and more that there will likely be a flight offered to try them all. My last visit, my mother and I tried the Halloween Flight. It's great for sharing and very cute! The tray is the shape of their logo with cup holders that are labeled 1-6. We got a card that was a map of the drinks and descriptions. You could get the drinks hot or iced too. Green Kettle Coffee's regular menu is small, offing lattes, cappuccinos, teas, matcha, and chai. I'm a tea girl--so a chai latte is my staple. They also a few snack offerings like overnight oats, muffins, scones, cookies, cake pops that are from local bakeries like Alyssa's Cakery, The Stratton Baking, Co and more! Always rotating, so it's always a surprise. The owner and staff are so nice. Feel free to ask about any of the drinks and what can be customized. Typically the times I'm in the cafe, it's not busy at all. It's a great place to do remote work since it's usually quiet. They are located on Center Street in Wallingford, conveniently there is a parking lot behind the building. Plus, a lot of parallel parking up the street. I will say, there are a lot of coffee choices up along this street and I find Green Kettle is the easiest for a quick stop that does not involve fighting for parking or involves crossing the street. Next time if you are in Wallingford, give Green Kettle Coffee a shot! read more
Wow. This spot was a find! Right in the heart of Wallingford is this delicious cozy cafe. This was my second month getting their coffee flight. Both months were impressive! Their chai is as impressive as their coffee! They have a case of local baked good from places like Kouign and Stratton Baking Co. They do not have other food options, but for us it was perfect. They make some of the BEST cold foam I've ever had. Last month was an almond cinnamon and this month was a pistachio. Like a delicious cloud that I want on everything. This is a super cute coffee shop that always has great variety in their offerings. Today we had an everlasting Gobstopper chai and violet latte (blueberry brown sugar latte). We also tried the carrot cake overnight oats.m very good. You will not be disappointed!! read more

This place showed up on my Instagram feed, and my cousins and I made the trek from Boston to give it a try. Obviously, we were in it for the printed latte photos, but we stayed for the bangin' scones with vanilla bean frosting. The seasonal iced latte I ordered was customized with a cute little holiday print, and my cousin sent in her own personal photo to put atop her drink. To top it all off, the lattes tasted as good as they looked. The interior of the shop is super cute, too. The service was great and every employee we encountered was friendly and fun. Since Green Kettle rotates their offerings seasonally, I'd definitely come back to try their other specialty drinks, and we'd all come back for the scrumptious scones alone. Sometimes, something unexpected intervenes in a food and drink experience that affects a Yelp review. Good or bad. Today, after having seen a Yelp review from my friend Alicia N, I visited Green Kettle for the first time, and Alicia N was sitting right there at a table. Not that Green Kettle needed a boost, but surprise coffee with a friend is good for a 1 Star increase. In any event, Green Kettle is a new small coffee shop near the center of Wallingford. The floor had cool patterns. The walls had sections of various green shades. Very cute shop with comfortable seating. Service was friendly and efficient. I ordered a black iced coffee. It was made with Victus, a CT-based coffee roaster. It was smooth and very drinkable. When I ordered, I noticed some apparently fresh made baked goods that looked tasty. Alicia told me they have a GF option as well. When I visit a coffee shop, I'm often alone and don't have a chance to test whether it's a good place to talk with friends. But since I bumped into Alicia, I can tell you that Green Kettle is a great place to visit with friends. I don't live in the immediate area, but I can definitely see returning to Green Kettle. Day off today and after a busy weekend and a weekend of party and needed coffee so bad today! I enjoyed the coffee so much the first time that I took the 20 min drive. Today was the perfect day. The Sweater Weather is my go to and not only that.. I had to find an excuse to go and buy GF muffins!! They are DELICIOUS!!!!!! Soo good!! Last stop on the downtown Wallingford cafe tour. Oddly enough I didn't get my usual and went rogue and got a seasonal latte - I honestly wasn't a huge fan of the flavor but I could tell the drink itself was well made and if you like cardamom you would like it. I didn't know I didn't like it when ordering so that's on me not the place or them! And I still drank it all- so it's not like it was gross just not my flavor. I am going to get my usual to go and I assume it will be great (just heard a lady come up and order a second one of it)- will update if it's not! The counter staff were great- we had a nice conversation. There are 4 boothed tables and 3 chaired tables. It's nice - a little quiet as I feel all 3 of these coffee shops were. Hard to have a private conversation without others listening. But to come alone and just have a great coffee or work this is a great place! Also got a scone- white chocolate raspberry to take home to the hubby. They also have a good selection of gluten free muffins. We aren't gluten free and I never had one before so didn't want to make this the first time. Price was 11.27 for the latte and scone. About on average with the other 3 (this was more if you are looking at my reviews of the others but as I noted didn't get my usual and got the more expensive latte). Overall would return - maybe even tomorrow :) read more
Took a Sunday drive to Wallingford to try out this very quant coffee shop that has excellent chooses to try. I decided to go with the Fresh Baked Iced Latte which was an excellent recommendation from the girls since I like sweeter drinks. i also choose to put a stencil on the foam part which you can decide your own or go with their signature choice. I think this is such a brilliant and added touch to any coffee drink whether it's hot or cold. The cost is only $1 to add an image to your drink choice. I also went with the almond milk to go with it to go alittle healthier. The girls were very accommodating and the service was served with a smile. WiFi is provided if you want to hang out with your laptop and working remotely. There is plenty of tables to sit at and a very warm setting versus the big company's like Starbucks. This location feels warm with the neutral colors that they painted. If you're in the area definitely stop in and give it a try as you won't be disappointed. read more
