He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was causing the issue and how he fixed it. His pricing was very fair, especially considering the quality of the work and the peace of mind it provided. There was a significant amount of debris built up within the ducts and vents, so we wanted to get it handled properly before settling in. The two technicians who arrived were punctual and highly professional throughout the process. They did a thorough job cleaning out every vent and duct related to the system, leaving everything much cleaner than they found it. I also want to give a special thanks to Jose for his help in coordinating the service and making sure the job got done smoothly. I'm really happy to be writing this. It's been 11 years since I left my first review of AirWorks,…read moreand I still stand by what I said back then. I don't think you can measure a business when everything is going perfectly. You measure a business by how they handle things when it doesn't go as planned. Everything has been going great, but we recently had a little hiccup when I added a whole home water filtration system. I was a little frustrated and it took a little bit to get the right person on the phone, but I'm really happy to know that they are the same company from 11 years ago. They went above and beyond to take care of the problem. I've heard nightmare stories about other companies in the area that will install something and if there is a problem, you are on your own. I see a 1-star review from someone who was frustrated with lack of customer service. I was frustrated with this too. The AI phone interface can be frustrating, but there are good people working there who are trying to do the right thing. It just might take a little bit of patience to get the right person on the other end of the phone. I do know that they are addressing this problem. Julian is my plumber and Sam is my HVAC guy and when they come to the house it's like having old friends visit. At the end of the day, that's what keeps me coming back to them. The work is solid, the technicians are knowledgeable, and when something does come up they stand behind what they do. Eleven years later, that still says a lot about the kind of company they are. I have no hesitation to call them for some of the bigger upcoming purchases that our household needs, like a new AC unit and a tankless water heater. I am very happy with how they addressed this past issue and will be calling them in the future.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Air Works…read more We originally called because we were having an odor/fumes from our garage being pulled into our home through the downstairs HVAC system. That was the primary reason for the service call and the problem we specifically wanted corrected. Nick came to our home and spent a couple of hours going through the system with us. He quoted approximately $4,500, which was significantly higher than other estimates we had received. We agreed to move forward because he represented that they were going to do substantially more work, including addressing the air leakage from the garage, expanding/sealing the return area so it would not continue pulling garage air into the house, and making changes upstairs to improve airflow so so much air was not being directed into the primary bedroom. Based on those conversations, we were told the downstairs system would be properly sealed and the garage-air problem would be corrected. Unfortunately, when the technicians were finishing their work, it became apparent that the most important part of the job -- stopping air from being pulled in from the garage -- was not included on their work order. I raised the issue while the technicians were still here. They contacted Nick, and we were then told that sealing that area would be done when we eventually replaced the entire HVAC system. Replacing the entire system had never been part of our agreement or the reason we approved this $4,500 job. Had we been told beforehand that the work being proposed would not address the fumes/garage-air issue, we would not have authorized the work. The technicians who came to our home were professional, polite, and clearly trying to do the job they had been given. I actually feel badly for them because they seemed to have walked into a situation where they had not been given all of the information that had been discussed during the sales appointment. The frustrating part is that we spent a significant amount of time explaining exactly what the problem was and what we needed fixed. Yet after spending approximately $4,500, the original problem remains. I still cannot comfortably run my downstairs AC because the same smell is coming into the house. UPDATE: After I posted this review, Nick called us. Unfortunately, instead of trying to resolve the problem, the conversation became argumentative and his description of what had been discussed was very different from what we were told when we agreed to the work. This was especially concerning because the technicians had already contacted him while they were at our home regarding the same issue. Again, the reason we called Air Works was to stop garage air/fumes from entering our downstairs HVAC system. That problem was not fixed. We had previously used Air Force HVAC company for years and decided to try Air Works based on a recommendation. I regret that decision. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering Air Works get every single promised repair and outcome specifically written into the work order before authorizing the job, particularly if the recommendation is coming from the salesperson rather than the technicians who will actually be performing the work.

My AC unit was on the verge of going out, so I contacted serval companies for quotes to replace the…read moreentire AC system. I already had a service contract with another company, but ended up purchasing the new system with Dutton. Most of my dealings were with Service Manager W, who pushed to have the install of the new AC happen on May 31st, to meet their sales goal for May 2025. I had informed Service Manager W that I had plans that weekend, but assured me that they could complete the entire install within 5 hours, and would arrive first thing Saturday morning (8am). The 2 person crew arrived on time, that consisted of 1 person doing all the heavy lifting, and the 2nd person being a helper (it was literally their 1st day on the job with Dutton). At the end of the day, it took over 14 hours for the crew to complete the install. When they left, the new unit was running, but was blowing warm air, increasing the temperature in the house upwards of 90 degrees at 10pm (ended up being that the installers had not reprogrammed my Nest thermostat to the specs of the new system). Below are the events that lead to the 14+ hour install, and trailing events that occurred, that took approx. 2+ months to resolve. * My install required a crane as the main unit is located on the roof of my Condo. Crane company hired for the install, was prompt and on time. The problem? The new guy that picked up the new unit overlooked picking up the main unit (condenser?) that was supposed to be placed on the roof. Due to no condenser to lift, the crane operator left, but not without getting paid in full (included in the price of the new unit). Ultimately, a 2nd crane company was hired by Dutton to complete the job (I did not pay for the 2nd crane to come out). * After the new system was installed, I noticed water draining through the secondary draining system, rather than draining through the primary system. Called Dutton back out to fix that issue. * Noticed that when the new system was running, condensation from a pipe in the ceil (pancake AC system) was leaking onto the ceiling in the hallway. Had to call Dutton out again, to have them fix by placing insulation around the pipe, to prevent dripping onto the ceiling below. * Due to the lengthy install from 5/31 and other issues, Dutton threw in a free surge protector for the new system. Good gesture by Dutton to right the wrong. When Dutton initially came out to fix the draining issue, they were supposed to install the surge protector at the same time. While 1 person was working on the draining issue, another person was supposed to install the surge protector. In order to install the surge protector, the AC unit needed to be turned off. Unfortunately, the person who was installing the surge protector, was installing it on the wrong unit (6 other AC units on the same roof), and turned off my neighbor's unit by mistake. Needless to say, my neighbor gave Dutton an ear full, for turning off their unit by mistake, during a heat wave. The tech had a difficult time installing the surge protector because they had the wrong type of product for my unit. Dutton ultimately came back out again to install the correct product. * To gain access to the system for maintenance inside the house, particle board was used as tiles for the ceiling in the hallway. Due to the many times Dutton had to come out to work on the new system, the particle board was damaged, and I was told that Dutton's contractor would come out to replace with new titles. It took approx. 2 months for the contractor to come out and replace the damaged titles. * Included in my purchase was an inspection and testing by the County. I was told by Dutton that they would submit the paperwork for the County to come out, to complete the inspection and testing. It is now the end of Aug 2025, and I've not heard from the County to schedule the inspection/testing. As of now, the new system is working well, and keeping us cool during the summer days. Although I choose Dutton to purchase my new unit due to the discount they provided me, I should have went with the company that I already had a service contract with.

You are not dealing with a local company anymore so any reviews prior are likely not relevant. We had 2 service calls and both times the technician was unable to service our standard mini-split. Dutton charged us $252 (later refunded) took 5 hours of our time and the other local vender charged us half of tis and fixed the drainage issue in 10 minutes flat.
