Can I just say WOW, I love this place. To traditionally preparing matcha to the yummy matcha cookies, this place definitely provides one of the most refreshing drinks. The strawberry matcha latte is my favorite, not too sweet but also not bitter. I wasn't a great fan of the ube latte just because I thought it was coffee with ube foam on top. The service was amazing and everyone was so friendly. The environment is definitely more minimal and aesthetic with the tan and white. The booths against the wall has outlets that run underneath for a perfect study spot. I've been here twice in a row and would definitely come back. read more

So glad we went to this place! The inside looks nice and clean. Cute chairs! They kinda forgot about our food orders (which isnt a big deal) coz it's not that long of a wait and i think it was the owner or manager who came to our table and apologized with a scone on the house which btw is delish and not too sweet. We loved the strawberry matcha latte and dalgona coffee coz theyre not too sweet too. The tuna and pesto sandwich are also good and fresh! My first visit to Green Nest Cafe and I already cannot wait to go back! Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by the staff and was in awe of the beautiful ambiance of the cafe. Absolutely beautiful decor with lots of comfy spots to eat, relax and work. I can't say enough good things about the staff! They were so welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly. I am absolutely obsessed with matcha tea and one of my favorite combinations is a Strawberry Matcha. I've tried many of them over the years but I have to say.. Green Nests' version is easily a close favorite. The matcha is incredibly high quality and the strawberry syrup is perfect; making the drink outstanding. It isn't overly sweet and you can tell the quality of their ingredients from the first sip. No cutting corners here! My food came out quickly and was so so yummy. I ordered the Chicken Pesto sandwich (no mozzarella, not an allergy just a preference) and WOW! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and so delicious. Again, very high quality ingredients - And for the price, the portion (along with side of potato chips (also delicious)) was very very generous. HEB area is so lucky to have this new hidden gem! The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and super helpful at explaining the menu.
