Reuben (the owner) and his son really helped us in a bind. Our a/c unit leaked into part of our carpeted den, and we needed to get rid of the water that had soaked up into the pads. I called at 8 am, and they came out in a two hours. They quickly targeted the area in need of drying, and said they would come back out if there were any issues in the next day or two. This review is overdue by a year but I'm still feeling happy about my choice to hire these guys to clean my fiancé's carpets before I moved in. My fiancé had cats in with my severe allergies hey did a lot of research to find some company that had specialized allergy treatments as well as regular carpet cleaning. Green plus carpet cleaners did a thorough carpet cleaning as well as an allergy treatment. I was unsure how well the treatment would work but it did! I was amazed at how quick the carpets were cleaned and within a day my allergies dissipated quite a bit. The prices were quite reasonable, and they were very quick to be able to give me a quote, respond to my inquiries, and schedule a date for service. It was handy to me that they utilized email. The only complaint I have is that the owner seemed to prefer cash or check made out to him personally (not the business). But hey, that's his deal and my carpets were cleaned so I paid for the service as requested. I do plan to use this company again. read more

There is nothing "green" or "clean" about their carpet service. The first impression was bad when he showed up with a filthy tool that had not been cleaned since the previous customer. It was caked with dirt and pet fur. He said it was just "sand". Okay, I give him the benefit because I really want the carpets clean. But the other red flag was that his website shows a video of the "Amazing Rotovac" machine and there's even a photo comparing the amazing results with a typical wand extension tool. But he did not bring the rotovac tool. He showed up with a wand on an extension hose, exactly what his own website shows to be inadequate. The ironic part is that his website has a section devoted to: Be aware of companies using "bait-n-switch" techniques! But that is exactly what he did "bait-n-switch". The process he used was to use a glorified spray bottle to apply a light layer of cleaning solution which barely dampened the carpets. Then he used the wand to collect the spay solution. After he completed one room the carpets looks the same as before. The carpets are four years old and there were zero distinct stains such as wine or urine to begin with- other than being darker in high traffic areas. His treatment had no effect. I could tell this wasn't going to cut it so had him stop and pack it up it. He had the nerve to say "well at least you know this room is clean"; and haggle with me on the cost of not cleaning one room. Later that evening I vacuumed and retrieved almost a full canister of dirt and pet fur. Decided to buy a home carpet cleaner from Lowe's. The waste water was dark brown! So clearly the Green Plus Carpet Cleaning did nothing to clean my carpets. And it's not "Green" if it's not effective, it's just a waste of energy and solution. I called him the next day and he issued a refund. On the plus side, he does respond to phone calls and texts fairly quickly. But unfortunately I was left with the distinct feeling that this carpet service is scam. Maybe if he had actually brought the Rotovac machine as advertised it would have worked. On a pretty last minute request, Ruben fit me in to take care of some stains on my carpet, and a visit looming from a VIP. The carpet is nice, but light colored and had seen better days. He came like the next day, bright and early, and gracefully dealt with some issues getting access to my place. I came back after he finished, and thought it looked pretty good. While I sent out a few feelers on Yelp, Ruben was the first to respond and very accessible (despite a very busy schedule as you can see by their hours of service). He arrived with his son and, within an hour, had completely transformed our house. We have a puppy and a two-year old, so I wasn't expecting that all of the "damage" was reversible. But the carpet looks brand new. They were polite, respectful of our furnishings, and left the house 100% better than how they found it.
