I watched him run over a paper cup on my lawn instead of pick it up he kept running it over ,then when he was done didn't even bother to blow it off the lawn ,he left the shreds of paper on the lawn.2.)I had true green apply chemicals on my lawn and I forgot to pull up the one of the warning sign they leave . I watched him run it over and leave all the plastic bits in the lawn.3.)There were some dead bunches of leaves by the curb by my lawn that when he was done he blew them under some bushes between mine and my neighbors house.Half of the debree that he did manage to blow off my lawn ended up half way across the street in front of my neighbor's house. I'm sure I'll hear about later from them.My yard isn't nicely landscaped. But I like to have it at least look clean.He just left when I took these pictures. For what he did today my neighbor's kid could have done a better job . Unless you want to do it over after he leaves.Find a professional

He's a great communicator and went above and beyond what was agreed upon removing more large branches that I overlooked requesting and also took time to chop fire wood pieces for me when I mention I could use some of the fallen tree for my fire pit. Also, I live in Jackson Heights Queens and am a real customer. I noticed another reviewer make accusations that the positive reviews are fake based on the reviewers' location. Well, this one is certainly real and often people move and their locations might change. Yelp can be a vicious place where people can get fixated on taking out their own unhappiness with life on hardworking small businesses. I would recommend Bernardo Landscaping in a heartbeat. After dealing with a hard to navigate website and having to email for guidance twice I was finally able to get a quote. Then I was emailed and told that they had to drive by my home to see it because it is new and not on Google maps street view. This resulted in a higher quote. I accepted this. They failed to show up when scheduled and instead I got an email suggesting I change to weekly service for "efficiency ". When I didn't reply same day I got a follow up email suggesting I try someone else. Don't recommend.

When they showed up for the estimate, they took pictures of all the work that was needed and as I pointed out things that I thought someone else would be needed, they said they could handle that too. Their estimate was very fair so I hired them right away. They came early, notifying me of their arrival beforehand and got to work right away. They took a hopeless yard that looked like a jungle and turned it into a yard that I hadn't seen since I moved into my house. The right side of the house, if you look at the pictures, was horrible. Now it's perfect! Not seen in the pictures is the left side of the house, where weeds were coming up through the concrete tiles, those are now all gone! My backyard patio also had bad weeds coming up and now you don't even notice anything bad was there. They are such great people too - fun to talk to and nice people. I decided to hire them to do maintenance on an ongoing basis because of how happy I am with their work. More than a week later no follow up. I called to be told they did not sell that make of unit anymore and they could not get parts. I asked for a referral for someone who could complete the repair but was told to do an internet search. In short, they did half a job, left exposed wiring in a child's bedroom and did not have the decency to either call me to tell me they could not finish the job or recommend someone who could. If you are looking for customer service I suggest you look elsewhere. In reply to your comment on my review, I have no record of you ever trying to contact me after the in home visit. Not even a voicemail. My issue is with how you left the job not the function of the units up to that time.

I booked a date for the removal only a few days in advance and the crew showed up on time and got to work. A fence panel had to be removed from my neighbor's fence, as one of the trees was located in the back yard, and the crew removed and replaced the panel without damaging it at all. They ground out the stumps and cleaned up everything very nicely. I was honestly a little worried about the quality of work that we would receive based on such a low quote, but was very pleasantly surprised when it was all said and done. I would absolutely recommend K & D to anyone needing this kind of work done.
