Ok guys - forget buying a shred machine. This is the place to go. Reasonably priced ($5 per approximately 12 x 15 filing storage box) and 1 car at a time drive thru! Parking right outside is available as well. Maro (the main person there) is always so helpful and we just appreciate his genuine, great customer service. They also have the i option to have a shred bin in your home, which they pick up every 6 months for about $50. Best part? They recycle! Win win for us and our planet. Was looking for a place to shred large quantities for my office, found green shredding on yelp and after shooting them an email I was responded to extremely quick. I spoke to a man named Rio & after explaining to him my shredding situation, he told me about the bins that they deliver and set up in your office, we discussed price and I was shocked at how affordable it was! Thanks to Yelp I found a place to take my dad's junk paperwork leading back to 1986, no I'm not joking. I'm glad I was able to drop off his stuff to be shredded. I'm not sure what the per pound price is, I think their web site said $5/file box. We brought in about 4-5 big bags, and it was $25. Worked for me. No parking though, that was the only draw back. Oh, and the place is RIGHT before a freeway on-ramp, so if you miss it. Good luck. read more

I have so many girly magazines but i'm wayyyyy too lazy to freak'n take it to the recycling place. hahah, even tho I own a truck. I had heard about Green Shredding, so I decided to give 'em a call since they come to your place and load up your stuff for you. they came in a little cart. It was so cute! but effective! Loved it! cleared out all my stuff while i sat back on my couch. hahaha. told you I was lazy. I'd like to throw in my 2c for Green Shredding. I've used them a couple of times and on both occasions they have been extremely accomodating and very responsive. For businesses and individuals, it is extremely convenient to get small amounts of shredding done. The accounts executive, Tinh, made time on Saturday (at 6pm!) to allow me to drop off. The shredding gets done right in front of you immediately. $5/- box. They have a carton pick-up arrangement for businesses, but for consumers with occasional needs they are perfect for pricing, quick response, and peace of mind. read more

I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who, like me, has the need to purge months upon months of paycheck stubs, receipts, bills, and other paper-made annoyances. They have a convenient location, but it looks like the parking situation has the potential for being a little hairy. I ended up finding parking one-half block away, on 17th Ave., mid-afternoon on a Wednesday--not too bad for downtown! The shred master who was working when I arrived--he says he goes by "Tin Man"--was super nice and extremely helpful. He paused the mammoth shred job he was working on the moment I walked in and shredded my big box o' documents right there in front of me. While they advertise $5/box, it cost me 10 bucks, but the box I brought in was ginormous! Literally, at least 50 pounds. I had no reservations about paying the extra 5 bucks. I'll definitely be going back to these guys next time a paper purge is in order. read more
