A few months ago, a friend of mine told me that she brought her vehicle to Sterling Car Care and it took three trips for the issue to be completely repaired. I had always had positive experiences with Sterling Car Care so I thought maybe she had exaggerated. Then I had the same experience. My vehicle had an oil leak. I brought the vehicle to Sterling Car Care several times. Several tests were performed. The vehicle was consistently losing about a quart of oil every 6 months so it wasn't too bad, just annoying. Then I sold the vehicle to a friend's daughter. My friend and his daughter were both aware of the oil leak when they bought the vehicle. They took it to a friend who simply replaced the seal and the oil leak was repaired. I spent $100s of dollars at Sterling Car Care for this issue. I'm not sure if this means they were overcharging me or their technicians were incapable of finding and repairing a simple issue. Neither speaks well of them. I no longer recommend them.

Gordie's refuses to rectify the problem and to add insult to injury provided a lengthy fabricated list of unneeded repairs that would add up to thousands of dollars of unnecessary work. Fortunately this senior lady had the wherewithal to refuse additional business with Gordie's and instead took her vehicle to another auto repair shop that took care of her ethically and honestly.
