Super cute little smoothie and Açaí bowl spot near time square! Great energy, great staff and great prices. Ordered ahead and picked up. They were kind enough to call and me and let me know that they were out of soy protein and replaced it with pea protein for me. Smoothie was refreshing and delicious!

I used to come here years ago, when it was the only healthy spot in the theatre district to eat before seeing a show. So happy it reopened, as their juices are so well priced ($8!) and so stinkin delicious! Also like their buffet-style salad bar, where you can get a big bowl of their salmon, their kale salad, mushrooms, guacamole and more. Also like their chocolate-nut bars and desserts. 5 stars!!!

Tofu bowl. Avocado on the side.

I was craving for a healthy bowl/salad and this place really topped of having fresh food ready to go and everything looked vibrant. If you need to stay away from carbs and gluten, you got yourself a good meal. When you walk in there is a menu for you to make your own bowl or you can get premade bowls, the workers know what you need so ask away. Even though it's a bowl the bowl is warm, fresh cooked veggies. I asked for avocado on the side. The tofu bowl is where it's at! Cute and clean vibe. I would come back when I need to eat clean.

Holy tofu this place is good! My coworker and I found this place on a whim while searching Google for something I could eat. Being WFPB -SOS (whole Food plant-based, sugar-free, oil-free, and salt-free) it can be challenging but, oh, so worth it. Anyways, we find this place on our quest and realized it was close to the hotel so we figured we would give it a try and we are so glad we did. I got the kale salad and lentil soup, both were very good. I'm sure there is salt added to the soul but it was still good and full of lentils. The kale salad was topped with perfectly ripe avocado and juicy tomatoes. Paul (the young man who works there) recommended the sesame ginger dressing saying it was the most popular. I can see why, it was delicious. The kind Lady (I'm so sorry I did not get her name) asked if my co-worker and I were interested in trying their sorbet. We tried both the Korean Pear and Red Dragon Fruit, they were very good, an excellent vegan option. My coworker is not vegan nor vegetarian but is always willing to support my diet so he was game to try the place. They do have meat options so he was pleasantly surprised that he was able to try dishes that more along his diet preferences. It is very appreciated that there is a place like this who offers multiple options for different diets. As a WFPB person it helps for business trips. We were both so impressed we went back the next day to see what changed on the menu and try different things, again everything was excellent. The roasted Sweet potatoes were fantastic, an absolute delight. I paired it with their gochujang sauce for a sweet and spicy meal and it was absolutely perfect. This place is certainly on my must-return-to list. The family were so very nice and remembered us and our names which just made it even more special. This little wonderful restaurant is most certainly a Symphony of Green in an iron city. Thank you.

This is mostly a takeout place but there's a small seating area across from the counter. A very interesting selection of entrees, both meat and veggie. Turkey meatballs were somewhat underwhelming but the orange spicy pasta-like strands made up for it. Reasonable prices, especially for the location. All counter-service. This is a great quick food option near Times Square especially if you want something on the healthier side.

Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate menu!

Food - Good and delicious! Service - Okay, could be less rushed and more attentive to customer's desires. Speaking for myself, I work here! Ambiance - Cozy and friendly vibes!

They have this b12 shot drink that's really good! Highly recommend!! Very healthy spot! Aurelia has very unique ice cream / sorbet flavors definitely worth a try. The ice cream is all made in house! My favorite is the white rabbit brings back childhood memories! Very fast service and the decor of the cafe gives earthy fun vibe!

The bright and beautiful neo-Victorian vibes complement the visually appealing displays of food and decor that recall a 19th century apothecary. With locations around NYC, as well as in Belgium where it all started, La Botaniste serves up "100% organic plant-based food." The bowls are pretty substantive and they have lighter starters/sides too for those who just want to dabble. You can choose one of their signature bowls (the Tibetan Mama, with its satisfying curry base, comes highly recommended), or build your own from a lineup of bases, sauces, toppings, dressings and garnishes. The food tastes fresh and clean, and I include this place in my rotation of healthy quick salad/bowl/vegetarian meal options in the neighborhood. I love that they have raw vegan treats, an increasingly rare find since several of my favorite raw vegan spots in the city closed down over the years. I'll admit I was first lured in by the antiquey aesthetic and the colorful vintage florals, but the food and environment are both very pleasurable.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water. Beyond Sushi was in Midtown near where I was staying, so I ended up coming here---on Valentine's Day, which happened to be a mistake! Since I didn't have a reservation, the lady who checked me in told me I had to find a seat at the bar. Her attitude was not the best, as when I looked over the menu and made a decision on what I wanted to get, she dismissed me when I waved her over, saying she is not the person taking orders. Um, okay? Then who is? One guy at the bar was nicer, and was able to take my order. I started off with a hot tea since NYC was cold in February, and then decided to have as much as I could of two dishes---the "chicken" yakitori skewers and the Korean BBQ skillet. The skewers came in a set of two, with a white mayo-like sauce drizzle and pickled cucumber on the side. Super delectable, though very filling because of the protein! The skillet was made with classic Chunk Foods protein, the go-to plant-based option for all the meat dishes at City Roots restaurants as far as I know. This was incredibly filling, but the sauce and the texture were all around delicious as well. I could NOT bother to finish the brussels sprouts the skillet came with---way too much to stomach, and I was going to focus on the "meats" since I can always have brussels any other time! The bill by the end of it was PRICEY. That's why I only go to one of these restaurants as a special treat when I visit NYC. Watch out if you order hot tea...$13!! I guess that's the NYC way, but still!

It came with a raw egg that you crack into the soup and let it cook to your level of doneness.
