LA is a hotspot for health food eateries and this is a great option! The ambiance and seating were very cute, and for a weekend, the vibe was peaceful. I was hesitant about the Super Glow bowl, but it was fantastic. The turmeric couscous really tied the bowl together, but maybe I'm partial to my grains. Forget garlic bread, oregano bread is where it's at! The bread added a lot of flavor to the bowl. We also ordered Fields of Flowers bowl. I came here on a Saturday for lunch with a friend. My friend is vegetarian, and she found this place after looking up a few places online. They have a good range of healthy options, ranging from entrees, salads and açaí bowls, which are either vegetarian or vegan. It was a warm day, so I decided to get the chocolate mint superfood bowl, which was blended with banana, chocolate mint almond milk, chia seeds, almond butter, and some other things. I can make a good açaí bowl for myself at home, but I really liked the one here. My friend's salad did not look as appealing and she didn't finish it. The cafe is very casual, and it's an order and pay first kind of place. One thing I found odd was that all the staff were in masks but the owner who was at the cashier taking orders was not. Was thrilled to find a veg friendly place a short walk from where we were staying. The oat milk lattes were tasty at breakfast and we returned later for lunch. Avocado toast ($9) was my fave- good bread topped with perfectly ripe and creamy avocado, some seeds and sprouts, lemon juice, and just the right amount of salt. It's served with a handful of mixed greens and is as good as avocado toast gets. The Super Glow salad was ok- fresh greens, perfectly cooked lentils, nice scoop of couscous. Beautiful presentation, but the olive oil dressing was not my fave. I wish I would have asked for a bit of lemon juice or vinegar with it. It comes with bread topped with some crazy good seasoning. The Green Table Signature sandwich was a winner. I love falafel, but so often it is served extra dry. The version here is perfect and the tastes great with all the other sandwich fillings. COVID-19 takeout experience: I called in my lunch order around noon and then it was ready within 15mins. I found plenty of free street parking along Stearns Dr. There isn't any indoor seating as expected, but there were some benches outside. All the employees were very nice and were wearing masks. I ordered a Field of Flowers smoothie bowl and it was pretty even in the to-go bowl! Next time I'll get an acai or pitaya bowl because the banana was overwhelming in the Field of Flowers bowl. Stumbled on this place in search of an Açaí Bowl. The ambiance of the restaurant is so pleasant. The staff was also friendly. I ended up ordering the "Love and Sunshine" bowl that had cayenne in it. It's an interesting mix of açaí base, banana, almond latte, spirulina, chlorella, almond butter, and maca. They top it with granola and other toppings that make it light since the base is so complex. I love it because you're not just getting something healthy, you're getting something that fuels you. The matcha was good, it was just more on the simple side. They also have an array of pastries to order from and many lunch options. I've had their meatballs and they were pretty good too! I was happy to see this place open up on Fairfax and First across from CBS. I enjoyed the old place and was disappointed when it closed. Management and staff seem really nice, the service is great as is the food. My issue here is with the prices and surcharges. We all understand running a sustainable business isn't easy but there is absolutely no logical reason to charge nearly 4.50 with tax for a "regular cup of drip coffee". It's almost insulting. Wholesale prices are coming down because pandemic error supply chain issues are fixed so that is no longer an excuse to overcharge. They also add an extra fee for Credit charges which they don't disclose so be aware of that.. Cali law states businesses must display this charge. Additionally, they can NOT by law charge a surcharge for Debit Transactions but they do. You need to have at least some menu items that are priced reasonably. At the very least a regular cup of coffee. read more

This is hands down one of the cutest cafes which offers a ton of vegetarian and vegan options. The food was outright delicious! While in beautiful Beverly Hills, I came across Green Table Cafe by a friend's suggestion and I am glad we gave this little gem a try. The restaurant ambience is well thought out with a whimsical theme. The young gentleman behind the counter couldn't have been any nicer. He patiently waited to take our order and was very helpful in explaining the menu. I started out with the Ginger Carrot juice, which was not just incredibly fresh, but it also had a nice kick to it. I loved it and couldn't stop myself from finishing the entire bottle before our food came out. While waiting for our food I noticed their cool music selection. That's always a bonus. Our food was served after a short wait and it did not disappoint. My GT Burger was loaded with a massive amount of vegetables and the combination of the different vegetables made it so much better. The side salad was also quite tasty, imho. The Tropical Bowl was also quite delicious according to my friend. It was nutrient dense and full of flavor. Also, the little protein balls were out of this world. We will be back for more. 5 stars for reasonably priced tasty food, the cool ambience and for friendly service! We will be back for more. My husband and I wanted to rest and snack a bit before our dinner reservations. A quick Yelp search led us to this cute little cafe. A brief look at the large menu on the wall made it obvious to us that this place is popular for their smoothies so we ordered one. We also ordered the spicy tuna burger. We sat down towards the back near the restroom. Our food took a bit longer to arrive but we didn't mind too much. The smoothie tasted normal, nothing that stood out too much. I honestly don't even remember what flavor it was because it was so forgettable. The spicy tuna burger broke apart immediately after I picked it up. Keep it mind this is a vegan burger but j expected the party to at least stay in one piece. There was nothing spicy about it. I think they placed a couple jalapeños in there and that's about it. A nice, friendly and chill coffee shop smack in the middle of a big busy street and a quiet neighborhood. Whenever I find myself in this area I do my best to have drink or meal here. The food itself is pretty delicious, I highly recommend their Lasagna. But their menu seems very vast and I suspect they have various different dishes available randomly. The servers are always helpful and friendly. When there are a lot be patient as they're making everything on the spot. I always enjoy sitting outside and just devouring my meal. It's a fun spot to eat because it's both loud and quiet. There's a nice quiet neighborhood on one side while the other has a huge/busy street. Special sandwich and it was layered with delicious vegetables - eggplant, mushroom, roasted red bell pepper, avocado and black olives. I don't even like black olives. I forgot to ask for the sandwich without them but the flavors all complimented each other so I didn't mind. I would get this sandwich again in a heartbeat. I also ordered the blood replacer juice, which had organic carrot, beet, apple, lemon and ginger. The juice was well balanced. Sometimes with ginger or beet, they overpower the juice but Green Table got it all right. I found free parking in the neighborhood which was convenient. I will definitely be coming back here! Next time, I'll bring the husband. Also, I observed the staff catering to a man who was homeless with respect and kindness. It appeared they were giving him some of their healthy, yummy food. This cozy Italian cafe offers a menu that is 100% organic and 100% vegan, so it takes away worry for plant based eaters and vegans. Over the several visits we made during our trip to LA, service was always wonderful. The owner was usually working and a total pleasure to meet. As for the menu, we highly recommend everything! You really can't go wrong. We knew our time was limited, so we tried multiple menu items such as all the soups, some coffee drinks, salads, sandwiches, pasta, and superfood bowls. The presentation was always lovely and everything was amazingly tasty. If we HAD to choose some MVPs or standout items, we would say the Avocado Toast, Tropical Iris bowl, Spinach Artichoke Melt, and the lentil soup; but you seriously can't go wrong with anything.
