Iced orange espresso is nicely balanced & refreshing
Julie J.

The iced orange espresso is perfectly balanced. The service is prompt and the owners are knowledgeable and friendly. The ambiance is casual.

What's in this photo, straight deliciousness, of a club sandwich

The food the air the drink the f ood music was combo meal for itself , everything matches the vibe won't disappoint that's for sure

This is the fanciest bottle of water anyone's ever offered me.

My waiter kindly seated me. He turned on some nice Jazz music. The environment is quiet and spacious. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which contained, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, and potatoes. It comes with bacon, but I substituted it for turkey sausage. The burrito was delicious and filling. Fresh ingredients and tasty. The staff here are kind, and I look forward to continuing my dining here.

Love love love this spot. I've dined in numerous times and also ordered delivery from here…read more The food is always shockingly delicious! Each individual item is great on its own but the combination of flavors is what really takes it over the top for me. I usually get the kefta plate, but decided to try the shewarma this time and it was great. Boyfriend loved his salmon plate and insisted we come back :) We also tried the cinnamon halva shakes (not pictured) which were interesting, but not what either of us expected. Very creamy and not too sweet, with the tahini flavor overpowering the cinnamon. The ambiance of this spot is great - love the intimate patio area with string lights. There was a fire going in the stove too which was super cozy. One of my go to classy-casual spots!

I got the schnitzel plate which came with rice, hummus, salad, pita bread, and mustard sauce. The mustard sauce really through me off since I was thinking more of toom sauce or tzatziki sauce. The rice had an odd taste, more on the bland side? However the pita was very hefty and pita pocket ready. The hummus was good with a few yellow chilies (super spicy). The schnitzel was hefty and huge portions almost like 5 pieces of chicken. With the portion size it's a decent price for it. Highly recommend trying out this new taste.

Wow, what a hidden gem Re/creation Cafe is, and I am so glad I found it. Okay, maybe it is not…read moretotally hidden, but I definitely haven't read any reviews or heard anyone talking about this place. I usually find coffee house cafe experiences to be pretty inconsistent; either the drinks are average, the food is average, or it is just not a great spot to hang out. But this place impresses me with just about everything. The open cafe space connects directly to a wonderfully decorated backyard with beautiful seating, and it is easily the best setup I have seen in Los Angeles. It is literally a different world once you step inside. Of course, the patio is the perfect spot to bring your dog to enjoy a bit of sun. The waitress suggested I try one of their international lattes, and it did not disappoint, and I am a picky latte drinker. As for the food, the chicken biscuit sandwich in their lunch menu is a must-try. It is a huge portion with detailed plating, and you definitely need to add their sweet potato fries. The breakfast sausage is wonderful as well. You can taste the freshness, and it is cooked to perfection. I would add a bit more salt, but that is just my personal preference. Overall, this is a must-try breakfast and brunch spot. The quiet, relaxed setting truly sets this place apart.

We found parking easily in their underground parking lot (yay for 2 hour free parking with validation!). We walked up to the gorgeous courtyard and found our way to this lovely restaurant. There was ample seating available both inside and outside but since it was a nice day out, we opted to sit outside. The restaurant has a fun and upbeat vibe with great decor. The service was friendly and prompt and our food was made quickly, without sacrificing taste or quality. I love how they label vegan options, which was helpful in allowing me to decide what to order. I opted for the quinoa avocado salad, which was huge and enough for 2 meals! It was a great mixture of grains, nuts, seeds and veggies, exactly what I'm trying to incorporate more into my diet! Everything was crisp and fresh and tasted great! The accompanying vinaigrette was flavorful yet light. I felt great and uplifted after the meal and ready to take on the rest of the day!

After my family and I visited the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, I wanted to stop somewhere for…read moreice cream, but my kids wanted something to drink like a smoothie or boba. Another criteria they were looking for was a nice place to hang out. We ended up deciding on Green Table Cafe because my daughter said that this cafe sold smoothies and it was a cute place based on the pictures she saw online. Once we got to the cafe, it had an inviting vibe and the gentleman behind the counter was friendly, but I wasn't a fan of the Chocotino smoothie and the table we sat at was not cleaned prior to us sitting there. Green Table Cafe is located in Los Angeles specifically on Pico Blvd. and Stearns Drive. It's next to an India Spices & Groceries store and it's across the street from CVS. Parking is mainly street parking and we found a metered parking spot across the street that didn't cost too much. Once we entered the cafe, we were greeted by small red car that someone could win if you participate in their $20/ticket raffle and a welcome greeting from the gentleman behind the counter. It's definitely a cute and inviting place with a large painted sentence "Love what you do Do it with LOVE" on the wall behind the counter. There are other inspirational wall art scattered around the restaurant. There are floral decorations throughout, wooden slat ceiling, natural light, and other accents that match the vibe. There are round marble tables with blue velvet and blue plastic chairs, a skinny wooden table with a sofa, and there are covered outdoor seating. Not sure if the gentlemen behind the counter was the owner or manager, but he was customer service oriented and was friendly to every customer who entered the cafe. My review is solely based on the smoothie I ordered because that's all I experienced. If we ever visit again, I would like to try their food and desserts because the desserts and pastries looked enticing. The description of their savory food on their menu made them sound delicious, but I won't know until I try. Based on its name, the verbiage on the menu, and what I drank, it appears Green Table Cafe is for the healthy conscious consumer. Their menu consists of coffee drinks, smoothies, superfood bowls, salads, and burgers/paninis. The words gluten-free, kale, quinoa, acai, hemp milk, and mint extract hearken to someone with a vegan diet. I'm a carnivore and I like to eat whatever I enjoy, so I'm probably not their target customer. I ordered their Chocotino smoothie and I wasn't a fan from the first sip to the last. The Chocotino is made with almond milk, banana, cacao, protein powder, rolled oats, almond yogurt, dark chocolate, peppermint oil, and goji berries. It leaned heavily on a peppermint taste and when I let my daughter taste it, she said it reminded her of a York peppermint patty candy. I definitely was not a fan and I almost brought it back to exchange, but I kept hoping it would taste better. I stirred it with my straw, but it didn't change my disdain for this smoothie. My kiddos got the smoothies they craved and a place that was a cool place to hang out. I didn't enjoy my smoothie, but that's what parents do. We make sacrifices for our kids.
