I got a ice vanilla latte here. It was amazing and I asked them what copy they use and they said they use Italian coffee but if I wanted a Ethiopian coffee, they could do a slow pour for me. This café is located in Little Ethiopia and it's very cute vibes and has authentic vibes as well. I love this little spot.

Evidently this place has only been open a month or so, which is why they seem pretty under the radar. They don't have any signage out yet. My friend happened upon this place in a search for a brunch spot in the area. We were the only customers which gave me pause, but the food was really good! They have a small but decent coffee list. A Spanish latte was on it but they didn't have condensed milk at this time :( however the iced vanilla latte was good! My friend got an iced cappuccino. I got the breakfast burrito and it was really good. Simple but well executed and a good portion. My friend got a hefty veggie omelette. Since we were the only customers the service was good and friendly. The interior is simple, spacious for what it is. There's no bathroom but the place next door has the same owner and you can pop over there to use it. Hopefully they pick up business so they can last awhile! :)

The iced orange espresso is perfectly balanced. The service is prompt and the owners are knowledgeable and friendly. The ambiance is casual.

What's in this photo, straight deliciousness, of a club sandwich

The food the air the drink the f ood music was combo meal for itself , everything matches the vibe won't disappoint that's for sure

This is the fanciest bottle of water anyone's ever offered me.

My waiter kindly seated me. He turned on some nice Jazz music. The environment is quiet and spacious. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which contained, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, and potatoes. It comes with bacon, but I substituted it for turkey sausage. The burrito was delicious and filling. Fresh ingredients and tasty. The staff here are kind, and I look forward to continuing my dining here.

Next time we're gonna order the mole ( Chef is from Oaxaca, so of course we have to try his mole) and smash burger.

Love love love this spot. I've dined in numerous times and also ordered delivery from here…read more The food is always shockingly delicious! Each individual item is great on its own but the combination of flavors is what really takes it over the top for me. I usually get the kefta plate, but decided to try the shewarma this time and it was great. Boyfriend loved his salmon plate and insisted we come back :) We also tried the cinnamon halva shakes (not pictured) which were interesting, but not what either of us expected. Very creamy and not too sweet, with the tahini flavor overpowering the cinnamon. The ambiance of this spot is great - love the intimate patio area with string lights. There was a fire going in the stove too which was super cozy. One of my go to classy-casual spots!

I got the schnitzel plate which came with rice, hummus, salad, pita bread, and mustard sauce. The mustard sauce really through me off since I was thinking more of toom sauce or tzatziki sauce. The rice had an odd taste, more on the bland side? However the pita was very hefty and pita pocket ready. The hummus was good with a few yellow chilies (super spicy). The schnitzel was hefty and huge portions almost like 5 pieces of chicken. With the portion size it's a decent price for it. Highly recommend trying out this new taste.

They have some interesting drinks on the menu, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The food was alright, nothing special or that stood out. Service was quick and they do have high-chairs if needed. They did get quite busy around 10am so if youre thinking of coming here, it might be worth getting a reservation. Overall it was a nice breakfast, but a little out of the way for me and parking was tough (street parking only).

It's really hard to be in a joyful mood when you are not being attended to. I did receive a glass of water at the very beginning, that was nice, after that everything was basically as if I was invisible. They brought my food out fast, I wanted to ask for sauces, more napkins & no one checked in on me. Maybe because I came during dinner time? The bartender is gold -- he was more attentive than the whole staff the entire time. I am sad to say that this truly made my food non exciting and very blah. I've been here before for breakfast and it has been great, bummed that wasn't today. As a single eater, I felt extra lonely. Sincerely, Anonymous foodie x

Everything tasted fresh, and the avocado was a great addition that made it even more satisfying. The flavors all came together really well, and every bite had a nice balance without anything overpowering the rest. It was a generous portion and definitely filled me up. The Olipop Peaches & Cream was smooth and refreshing, and the Zapp's Sweet Creole Onion chips were packed with flavor and added the perfect crunch alongside the sandwich. The restaurant had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and attentive. My order came out quickly, and everything tasted fresh and made to order. Overall, it was a great lunch. I'd definitely recommend Monroe Place, and I'll be back to try more of the sandwiches on the menu.

Herb turkey, saffron mayo, cucumber, pistachios, barberries, pomegranate molasses, crispy shallots, and arugula on focaccia... sounds unconventional on paper but WOW , perfection. so incredibly well balanced. I was hoping to try the Dilly Dally, but they had already switched to the Brutus chicken salad sandwich, which was still very tasty. That said, the WLF was the clear winner. They have counter seating inside and ample outdoor seating, but also seems more of a stop and go place. Def worth a stop!
