One can easily drive by the quaint town of Felton on the way to Mount Hermon or Henry Cowell Redwood State Park, so use GPS just in case. Today I had my second message in about two weeks and both times, with two different masseuses were fantastic. Both really listened and asked if they were going too hard, so that was great because I had some huge knots in my body that I didn't think would release. Today, I had a hot rock message for 90 minutes-oh my goodness, it felt like I'd died and gone to heaven! I could hardly walk when I walked/crawled my way in the door. The massage therapist and owner kept talking to each other during my massage. Also, I would hear a client come in and the massage therapist would leave the room to attend to the lobby. At one point, she forgot to close the door while my big ass was showing. If I had a butt like Jennifer Lopez I wouldn't mind, but that's not the case. My Girlfriend went for a massage and had a weird experience. Her panties were pulled down early in the experience, she left them down but felt uncomfortable about the amount of time being spent on her glutes. She then pulled her panties back up and then a min later they were pulled back down and she pulled them back up and then asked the woman to stop. I think the manager should talk to the staff. If someone pulls their panties up during a massage that should be a clue they need to stay up. read more

Meggie is by far the best masseuse I've had the pleasure of spending 90 minutes with. She has great intuition working on my aching muscles. I am a 250lb power lifter, and she has no problem getting just the right amount of pressure . These ladies do not sugarcoat anything, they simply give you an amazing deep-tissue massage (unless you ask for lighter pressure). The therapist was just railing on my skin, it felt like razor burn and pressing so hard. I told her three times it was too hard and hurt, where I'm already injured. I'm pissed off. What a fabulous little massage center!! I had slipped and taken a hard fall on my tailbone a couple weeks ago. Did not have the pain and stiffness that I expected from the fall. But my back continued to be stiff and if I leaned over and picked anything up a pain ran from tailbone up my back. I got an hour massage and boy did I have "hot" spots from that fall. It hurt as they massaged out but walking out the door felt SO much better. They take appointments and I highly recommend going to see them. read more

I have been coming here for a couple years now. I typically get a massage weekly or a few times per month due to chronic shoulder/neck pain (old work injuries). The massage therapists are all very sweet and professional. I need/prefer deep tissue/pressure: all of them can provide this. The only downside is that the street noise (I.e. motorcycles) from highway 9 can be distracting. They have relaxing music to conterbalance this. I also like that it is clean (I am a certified germi-phobe;) Lastly, it is a good idea to demonstrate/show the masseuses areas to work on and communicate if the pressure too hard or soft, they are happy to accommodate. I walked in because the kiosk said they take walk-ins. The door was open. I wanted to inquire about gift certificates. But I was met by a woman who held her hands because she didn't want to touch anything and told me to come back later because she was busy! WOW, such wonderful customer service, NOT! I get that she was with a customer, but LOCK THE DOOR! If I had been on the table getting that massage and had an interruption as such, I can't say I'd be too thrilled! Hidden gem! This was my 2nd time here and it was even better than the 1st. Pro tip: bring cash to get $5 off the one hour rate! Jing spent the full hour (and a few minutes over) working out all the knots - not only in my back, but in my legs, hips, feet, arms and hands. She takes a good portion of the massage going over every inch of your body to get familiar with it and learning what areas respond or tense up. Then the latter portion of it is working through all the sensitive areas and kneading the knots out, digging in deep and stretching out tight muscles. Like I said, the 2nd time was better than my first visit here so I've now become a 2x per month, regular appointment. It's worth every dollar. read more

I have had many massages over the years and this one was the worst ever. I can't speak for all of the clinicians there, but I had Leilei who was awful. She was hurting me with her pressure and each time I asked her to lighten up she would giggle and say "sorry" but not change the pressure. I finally told her that it hurt and was making me more tense she said "No hurt it won't heal". I'm sorry but I don't pay for a massage to be hurt and ignored by my masseuse. She also didn't drape me properly leaving me completely exposed (even when she left the door open to answer the phone at the front desk twice!) Leilei does not seem to be trained in any of the usual massage techniques that I've enjoyed over the years. In summary, no not get a massage from Leilei, I left feeling bruised and sore and worse off than I did before her "massage". read more

Just got out of there, 2nd time. Leilei is fine and talented for a medium-intensity massage. Deceptively strong hands for such a tiny girl - I can only take Medium and it was a bit much but I wanted (and needed) the repair work. She was kind enough to slip me in 15min drop-in before a prev appointment. If you're soft or wimpy (a problem in Santa Cruz, everyone's too soft), you may or may not be happy here - their technique seems to be serious business. Maybe they go easier on women, I dunno. If you're athletic and have some serious knots you need worked out so you can get back to it for real, I think you'll be fine. And at $1/hr drop-in with a mere 15mins minimum, they're highly convenient and accommodating. Ill be back next week. read more

I was riding my mtn. bike by there after a pretty grueling ride at Henry Cowell S.P. near by, and thought, "Hmmm, I could really go for a massage about now". No extra charge to shower. Had the 90 minute massage for 2 people, the cost was $85 each for a total cost of $160 which included a $10 discount for cash. I paid my masseuse at the end and included a $20 tip ($10 for each masseuse). She then told me my tip was too low and that people pay more. What?!?!! I've never been asked for a tip, let alone for a larger tip! My massage was okay, but it was interrupted 3 times to attend to would-be customers that came in requesting appts AND my message ended 5 minutes early. Wow, what a gem! I booked a massage for last Monday, September 14th. Little did I know it was their second day after reopening from the Covid lock down. Kim ( the new owner) was very courteous on the phone for the booking. I arrived a little early and was asked to either wait outside or in one of the vacant rooms, I opted for the room. The massage started promptly at the scheduled time. I have had massages all over the world, and Kim is one of the most professional and finest masseuse I have ever received a massage from, she is fantastic. She listened to where my issues were and she went right to work fixing everyone of them. Her shop was very clean, smelled great, and her music was perfect. We were staying at the Santa Cruz RV park, and I walked the mile walk for the appointment, which I would do again in a heartbeat. I can't wait for our next RV trip, so I can set up another massage with Kim. I left pain free, and the walk back to the RV park was piece of cake after leaving Green Tea pain free. Don't let the fact that this is not a plush spa fool you into not coming. The massages here are top notch. Me and my husband do massages every month and we get them always when we are on vacation. This place was amazing! An hour massage was only $50, if paid in cash. I would go for the 90 minutes though, because they are that good! Great massage but they over booked my husband and i, so my husband had to wait an hour. Afterwards before i could come back and get him and leave a tip, the lady demanded i give her a tip. Which i did, and would have but that was extremely rude and i won't come back solely on that behaviour. Except that rudeness; good massage over all.
